AI Technical Summary
The existing sheet processing devices, such as those used for valuable document and electrode element stacking, experience reduced throughput due to long interruptions in stacking operations when removing previous stacks, as the stacker wheel must pause until the previous stack is completely removed, leading to inefficiencies in processing and storage.
The method involves using a storage shelf and a lifting floor within the output area to temporarily store new stacks below the stacker wheel, allowing the stacker wheel to continue forming new stacks while the gripper removes the previous stack, minimizing interruptions and enhancing throughput by enabling continuous operation.
This approach significantly increases the sheet and valuable document throughput by allowing the stacker wheel to start forming new stacks before the previous stack is fully removed, reducing downtime and maintaining continuous processing.

Abstract
Description
[0001]Formation of sheet stacks by means of a sheet processing device The invention relates to a method for forming sheet stacks, in particular stacks of valuable documents, by means of a sheet processing device, in particular a valuable document processing device, and to a sheet processing device, in particular a valuable document processing device, configured to carry out the method. In cash-in-transit companies or central banks, a large number of valuable documents are processed, e.g., checked, sorted, counted, and stacked, using valuable document processing devices. The valuable document stacks formed in this way are usually filled into designated valuable document containers for storage and / or transport purposes. In valuable document processing devices, the valuable documents are separated from a valuable document stack and guided past sensors on a transport path. The individual valuable documents are checked by the sensors and, depending onThe checked valuable documents are fed to destinations in the device determined by the test result, e.g., output compartments. The checked valuable documents are fed to the stacker wheel in the device. The stacker wheel rotates so that the compartments are filled individually with one valuable document each. Using a stripper, the valuable documents are stripped out of the compartments of the stacker wheel, thus forming a valuable document stack that is output from the valuable document processing device. It is also known to remove a valuable document stack output in an output area of a valuable document processing device from the output area using a gripper and place it in a valuable document container that has been placed within reach of the gripper. The disadvantage of this is that stacking using the stacker wheel must be interrupted for a long time so that the gripper can remove the valuable document stack. This is because the stacker wheel can only then start stacking another valuable document stack.begin when the previous stack of valuable documents has been removed from the output area of the valuable document processing device with the gripper. The long stack interruption reduces the valuable document throughput of the valuable document processing device. Similarly, when forming other sheet stacks that are not valuable document stacks, such as electrode element stacks made of flat electrode elements, the removal of a previous electrode element stack, which requires an interruption in stacking, can lead to a reduced throughput of the device that processes or stacks the flat electrode elements. The object of the present invention is to increase the sheet throughput, in particular the valuable document throughput, of the sheet processing device, in particular the valuable document processing device. This object is achieved by the method and the sheet processing device, in particularA value document processing device, according to the independent claims, is solved. According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, a method for forming sheet stacks, in particular value document stacks, in an output area of a sheet processing device, in particular a value document processing device, comprises the following steps: a) stacking sheets / value documents by means of a stacker wheel of the sheet processing device / value document processing device onto a sheet stack / value document stack located on a lifting floor, b) introducing a storage shelf into the output area of the sheet processing device / value document processing device, wherein the storage shelf is introduced such that it is arranged in a position below the stacker wheel that lies above the uppermost sheet / value document of the sheet stack / value document stack formed on the (possibly lowered) lifting floor, c) stacking further sheets / value documentsby means of the stacker wheel onto the storage shelf arranged below the stacker wheel in order to form a further stack of sheets / value document stack on the storage shelf, d) introducing a gripping device into the output area of the sheet processing device / value document processing device in order to grasp the stack of sheets / value document stack formed on the lifting floor by means of the gripping device, e) removing the stack of sheets / value document stack formed on the lifting floor by means of the gripping device from the output area of the sheet processing device / value document processing device, and, after removing the stack of sheets / value document stack, f) raising the lifting floor to the storage shelf, and g) transferring the further stack of sheets / value document stack formed on the storage shelf to the lifting floor and moving the storage shelf away from the output area. According to a second aspect of the present disclosure, a sheet processing device, in particularA security document processing device configured to form sheet stacks, in particular security document stacks, in an output area of the sheet processing device / security document processing device. The sheet processing device / security document processing device comprises a stacker wheel, a lifting floor, a storage floor, a control device, and a gripping device, wherein the sheet processing device / security document processing device is configured to stack sheets / security documents that have been processed by the sheet processing device / security document processing device onto a sheet stack / security document stack located on the lifting floor, which is located below the stacker wheel in the output area of the sheet processing device / security document processing device. The control device is configured to cause, preferably at a time during stacking by means of the stacker wheelis interrupted, the storage tray is introduced into the output area of the sheet processing device / value document processing device in such a way that it is arranged in a position below the stacker wheel that lies above the top sheet / value document of the sheet stack / value document stack formed on the (possibly lowered) lifting tray. In addition, the sheet processing device / value document processing device is configured, after the storage tray has been introduced into the output area, to stack further sheets / value documents that have been processed by the sheet processing device / value document processing device onto the storage tray arranged below the stacker wheel in order to form a further sheet stack / value document stack on the storage tray. In addition, the control device is configured to cause the gripping device to be moved into the output area of the sheet processing device / value document processing deviceis introduced to grasp the sheet stack / value document stack by means of the gripping device, and to cause the gripping device to remove the sheet stack / value document stack formed on the lifting floor from the output area of the sheet processing device / value document processing device, and to cause that after the sheet stack / value document stack formed on the lifting floor has been removed, the lifting floor is raised to the storage floor, the further sheet stack / value document stack formed on the storage floor is transferred to the lifting floor, and the storage floor is moved away from the output area. Preferably, the sheet processing device / value document processing device and the control device are configured to carry out the above-mentioned steps for several sheet stacks / value document stacks one after the other. The control device causes corresponding adjustment devices, e.g. motors or actuators, to carry out the respective movementof the storage shelf or the lifting floor or the gripping device. Aspects of the present disclosure are preferably based on the approach of temporarily storing the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents on the storage shelf until the lifting floor is available to receive the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents, i.e., until the gripping device has removed the (previous) stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents from the lifting floor and the lifting floor is ready to transfer the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents. This procedure has the advantage that the stacker wheel can already begin stacking a further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents while the previous stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents is being removed from the output area of the sheet processing device / value document processing device by the gripper, or even before that. By temporarily storing the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents onThe storage shelf ensures that no or only a short interruption of stacking with the stacker wheel is required before the stacker wheel can begin stacking another stack of sheets / value documents. The sheet throughput / value document throughput of the stacker wheel or the sheet processing device / value document processing device is thereby increased. The storage shelf is designed to be moved away from the output area (laterally in relation to the stacking direction of the sheet stack / value document stack, e.g., backwards). The (lateral) movement of the storage shelf away from the output area in step g) is carried out in order to be able to stack the sheets / value documents from the stacker wheel back onto the lifting floor. The storage shelf then only needs to be able to perform a one-dimensional lateral movement and not - like the lifting floor - be movable in the stacking direction. The storage shelf is preferably only movable in a direction perpendicular to theStacking direction and movable in the opposite direction, e.g., can be introduced from the rear into the output area and moved backwards out of the output area. And the lifting floor only needs to be movable along the stacking direction and in the opposite direction, but not perpendicular to the stacking direction. This has the advantage that both floors require a simple drive and less space for movement. The lifting floor is preferably designed to be lowered downwards, while the stacker wheel deposits sheets / valuable documents onto the sheet stack / valuable document stack formed on the lifting floor. After step g), steps a)-g) can be repeated, in particular for the further sheet stack / valuable document stack and, if applicable, for the sheet stack / valuable document stack following this, whereby the further / following sheet stack replaces the sheet stack mentioned in step a). When repeating steps a)-g) forThe further / following stack of sheets / value document stacks are stacked according to step a), i.e., onto the further / following stack of sheets / value document stack transferred from the storage floor to the lifting floor. By repeating the process, sheets / value documents are stacked onto the further stack of sheets / value document stack and, if applicable, onto the stack of sheets / value document stacks following this one, and the further stack of sheets / value document stacks, and, if applicable, the stack of sheets / value document stacks following this one, are removed from the output area by the lifting floor using the gripping device. Repeating the process enables a continuous output process of the sheet processing device / value document processing device and thus an even further increased throughput of the sheet processing device / value document processing device when processing sheets / value documents. The stack of sheets / value document stack located on the lifting floor in step a) can be stacked by stacking sheets-tern / valuable documents by means of the stacker wheel on the lifting floor or by transferring the sheet stack / valuable document stack from the storage floor to the lifting floor according to step g). In step a), the lifting floor can be lowered downwards while the stacker wheel deposits sheets / valuable documents onto the sheet stack / valuable document stack. The insertion of the storage floor into the output area of the sheet processing device / valuable document processing device according to step b) can be controlled by a trigger signal, e.g., which the control device receives as soon as the sheet stack / valuable document stack has reached a certain number of sheets / valuable documents. A stacking pause of the stacker wheel can be inserted for the insertion of the storage floor and / or for the transfer of the sheet stack / valuable document stack from the storage floor to the lifting floor, whereby the sheet processing device / valuable document processing device preferably performs the processing ofSheets / valuable documents are continued during the stacking pause of the stacker wheel and the sheets / valuable documents processed during the stacking pause are transported to another destination of the sheet processing device / valuable document processing device, e.g. to another stacker or to another output area or to a shredder of the sheet processing device / valuable document processing device. The stacking pause in question is then only inserted individually for the respective stacker wheel. For example, the stacking of sheets / valuable documents by means of the stacker wheel onto the sheet stack / valuable document stack formed on the lifting floor is interrupted before the storage shelf is inserted. This means that before the storage shelf is inserted according to step b), step b0) can be carried out: b0) Interrupting stacking by means of the stacker wheel The insertion of the storage shelf according to step b) is preferably carried out while stacking by means of theStacker wheel is interrupted. This has the advantage that a collision of the storage shelf with a sheet / value document that is just being deposited and is falling onto the stack of sheets / value documents is completely ruled out. Interrupting stacking by means of the stacker wheel or pausing the stacking of the stacker wheel can be achieved, for example, by interrupting the feed of sheets / value documents to the stacker wheel while the stacker wheel continues to rotate. This can be done by stopping the separator of the sheet processing device / value document processing device or by transporting the sheets / value documents processed by the sheet processing device / value document processing device to another destination of the sheet processing device / value document processing device during the interruption or stacking pause of the relevant stacker wheel (see examples above). After inserting the storage shelf, stacking of theFurther sheets / valuable documents can be started again using the stacker wheel onto the storage shelf located below the stacker wheel in order to form the further stack of sheets / valuable documents on the storage shelf. In order to create space for the insertion of the storage shelf and / or for the additional sheets / valuable documents, it is preferred that the lifting floor with the stack of sheets / valuable documents is lowered downwards during or after stacking. Preferably, the lifting floor is lowered (stepwise or continuously) while the stacker wheel deposits sheets / valuable documents onto the stack of sheets / valuable documents, e.g., depending on the signal from a sensor positioned below the stacker wheel that detects the sheets / valuable documents. The lowering takes place in such a way that the top of the stack remains approximately at the same height, in particular at a suitable distance from the stacker wheel, at which precise depositing is achieved. This tracking of the lifting floor according toThe advantage of lowering the stack of sheets / value documents at the bottom with the growing stack of sheets / value documents has the advantage that the sheets / value documents can be deposited with greater accuracy. While stacking is interrupted according to step b0), the lifting floor can be lowered further to create more space above the stack of sheets / value documents formed on the lifting floor for the insertion of the storage shelf. The lifting floor is lowered further (e.g., during / after interrupting stacking according to step b0)) until an insertion condition is met. The insertion condition is, for example, that the lifting floor has reached a certain position or that the upper end of the stack has reached a certain end position, e.g., below a light barrier. As soon as the insertion condition is met, e.g., the end of the stack has reached the end position during lowering, the storage shelf is lowered into the output area of the sheet processing according to step b).The stacking device / value document processing device is inserted, and according to step c), further sheets / value documents are stacked by means of the stacker wheel onto the storage shelf arranged below the stacker wheel in order to form the further stack of sheets / value document stack on the storage shelf. The lowering of the lifting floor with the stack of sheets / value document stack can, if necessary, also be continued after the insertion of the storage shelf according to step b). However, if the distance between the stacker wheel and the top side of the finished stack of sheets / value document stack is sufficiently large, lowering the lifting floor to insert the storage shelf can also be omitted. If there was an interruption in stacking according to step b0), the stacking according to step c) comprises restarting the stacking of further sheets / value documents by means of the stacker wheel onto the storage shelf arranged below the stacker wheel in order to form anotherTo form a stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents. If there was no interruption in stacking according to step b0), the stacking according to step c) comprises further stacking of additional sheets / stacks of valuable documents using the stacker wheel onto the storage shelf arranged below the stacker wheel in order to form the additional stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents on the storage shelf. The storage shelf can be flat, e.g., plate-like, or rake-like. The lifting floor can also be flat, e.g., plate-like, or rake-like. The rear boundary of the output area preferably has one or more openings that are complementary to the storage shelf, so that the storage shelf can penetrate through the opening. For example, the storage shelf is rake-like, and the rear boundary of the output area has several openings that are complementary to fingers of the rake-like storage shelf. Or the storage shelf is flat, e.g.,plate-like, and the complementary opening in the rear wall is correspondingly slot-like. In particular, the storage shelf and the lifting floor can be designed to complement each other in a rake-like manner. Both have two or more than two fingers that form a rake. Complementary means that the fingers of the lifting floor are spaced apart from the fingers of the storage shelf, i.e. the fingers of the lifting floor can penetrate into the gaps between the fingers of the storage shelf and vice versa. If the storage shelf and the lifting floor are designed to complement each other in a rake-like manner, meshing between the storage shelf and the lifting floor is possible. If the storage shelf is designed in a rake-like manner, it is preferred that the rear boundary of the dispensing area has several openings that are complementary to the fingers of the rake-like storage shelf. For example, the rear wall of the dispensing area can have openings or the rearThe boundary of the output area can have bars with openings therebetween, which are complementary to the fingers of the rake-like storage shelf. This enables a particularly simple transfer of the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents from the storage shelf to the lifting floor by means of stripping, when the storage shelf or its fingers are moved laterally out of the output area through the rear boundary or through the rear boundary. The raising of the lifting floor according to step f) is stopped when the lifting floor is located at / on the storage shelf, e.g. when the lifting floor is located directly on the underside of the storage shelf or, if both are designed in a rake-like manner complementary to each other, when the lifting floor has penetrated into or passed through the storage shelf designed complementarily to this (whereby both mesh with each other). After the raising of the lifting floor to the storage shelf according toIn step f), the lifting floor is located at / on the storage floor. When transferring the additional stack of sheets / value documents formed on the storage floor to the lifting floor located at the storage floor according to step g), the lifting floor can, for example, be located directly below the storage floor or mesh with it at approximately the same height. For transferring the additional stack of sheets / value documents from the storage floor to the lifting floor according to step g), the following two transfer variants are possible: 1. Transfer variant In the first transfer variant, in step g), the additional stack of sheets / value documents is transferred to the lifting floor by moving the storage floor away (laterally to the stacking direction). In this case, the stack of sheets / value documents located on the storage floor is preferably stripped off at the rear boundary of the output area in order to transfer the additional stack of sheets / value documents onto the lifting floor.transfer. In particular, the transfer of the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents from the storage shelf to the lifting floor is achieved by the (lateral) movement of the storage shelf away from the output area, e.g., through the rear boundary of the output area. The rear boundary of the output area preferably has one or more openings that are complementary to the storage shelf. Complementary means that the openings are designed so that the storage shelf can dip into the openings of the rear boundary. The rear boundary of the output area can be designed as a rear wall with one or more openings or can have grid bars with openings in between. For example, in the first transfer variant, the lifting floor is raised to the storage shelf and the raising is stopped as soon as the lifting floor is directly on the underside of the storage shelf or - ifthe two are designed in a rake-like manner, complementary to each other – when the lifting floor meshes with the storage floor and is at least approximately at the same height as the storage floor. Then, the storage floor, on which the additional stack of sheets / value document stack formed on it is located, is moved away from the position below the stacker wheel (laterally), e.g., backwards (lateral means in relation to the stacking direction, e.g., perpendicular to the stacking direction), so that the additional stack of sheets / value document stack formed on the storage floor falls onto the lifting floor (located below or meshing at the same height) or is transferred to it by the movement of the storage floor. In the first variant, however, the storage floor does not need to be designed in a rake-like manner, but can be flat, e.g., plate-like, whereby the complementary opening in the rear wall can, in the latter case, be designed in a slot-like manner, e.g.,In the non-rake-like case, the lifting floor is moved directly to the underside of the storage floor, whereby no meshing occurs between the storage floor and the lifting floor. 2. Transfer variant In the second transfer variant, the storage floor and the lifting floor are designed to complement each other in a rake-like manner, and in step g), the transfer of the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents from the storage floor to the lifting floor is carried out by an upward movement of the lifting floor along the stacking direction. To transfer the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents, the lifting floor is moved from bottom to top through the complementary rake-like storage floor in order to lift the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents from the storage floor and thereby transfer it to the lifting floor. The removal of the storage floor in step g) takes place simultaneously when or (immediately) after the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents fromthe storage shelf is or was transferred to the lifting floor. In the second transfer variant, the lifting floor and the complementary rake-like storage shelf are moved through each other in a meshing manner. The lifting floor is moved upwards so that the fingers of its rake pass through the complementary openings between the fingers of the lifting floor, so that the lifting floor takes over or lifts the stack of sheets / value documents from the storage shelf. Immediately after this transfer, the storage shelf (thus separated from the stack of sheets / value documents) is moved away, e.g. laterally. The stacking of further sheets / value documents onto the further stack of sheets / value documents with the stacker wheel according to step c) can be continued while the stack of sheets / value documents (according to the first or second transfer variant) is transferred to the lifting floor. Or a short stacking pause of theStacker wheel. Preferably, the storage tray is moved away from the output area while further sheets / value documents are stacked on the further sheet stack / value document stack by means of the stacker wheel. The gripping device is designed to grasp the sheet stack / value document stack formed on the lifting tray between two gripping elements of the gripping device in order to remove it from the output area. Before the gripping device is introduced into the output area according to step d), a pre-compression of the sheet stack / value document stack deposited on the lifting tray can be carried out between the lifting tray and the storage tray in a direction opposite to the stacking direction in a step d0). For the pre-compression, the sheet stack / value document stack deposited on the lifting tray is clamped between the lifting tray and the storage tray and pressed together in the opposite direction to the stacking direction, e.g., until a predeterminedDistance between the lifting floor and the storage floor is reached. By pre-compressing the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents, the height of the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents measured in the stacking direction is reduced. By pre-compressing, the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents is given greater stability and can therefore be removed more safely using the gripping device. The pre-compression of the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents can also be continued until the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents reaches or falls below a certain maximum height, which is determined by the maximum opening width of the gripping device, i.e. is less than this. To pre-compress the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents formed on the lifting floor, the lifting floor with the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents deposited on it is raised towards the storage floor so that the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents touches the storage floor from below and the raising of the lifting floorafter the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents has been pushed against the storage base, in order to press or compress the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents between the lifting base and the storage base in the opposite direction to the stacking direction. In the case of pre-compression of the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents formed on the lifting base, when the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents is removed by means of the gripping device according to step e), the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents is removed from a clamp formed between the lifting base and the storage base. When the gripping device is introduced into the output area according to step d), the gripping device grips the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents between the two gripping elements of the gripping device, preferably compressing the gripped stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents in the opposite direction to the stacking direction. In the case of pre-compression according to step d0), the compression by means of the gripping device is an additional step to pre-compression.Further compression is carried out. During compression, the gripping device presses the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents together in the opposite direction to the stacking direction, e.g., to a predetermined stacking height or until the gripping device exerts a certain gripping force or a certain counterforce of the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents is reached. The stacking of further sheets / stack of valuable documents using the stacker wheel onto the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents located on the storage floor according to step c) is preferably started before the gripping device is inserted according to step d), i.e., also before the stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents located on the lifting floor is removed from the output area using the gripping device according to step e). This has the advantage that stacking using the stacker wheel only needs to be interrupted briefly, and stacking the further stack of sheets / stack of valuable documents does not require the removal of the (previous)Sheet stack / stack of valuable documents must be maintained. During the introduction of the gripping device into the output area (step d)) and / or during the removal of the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents formed on the lifting floor by the gripping device from the output area (step e)), further sheets / stacks of valuable documents can be stacked according to step c) onto the further sheet stack / stack of valuable documents located on the storage floor. Preferably, after removing the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents according to step e), the gripping device places the removed sheet stack / stack of valuable documents in a further step e*) into a sheet container / stack of valuable documents that is within reach of the gripping device. When steps a)-g are repeated, in particular when repetition of the removal step e), the further sheet stack / stack of valuable documents removed from the output area is, for example, placed by the gripping device in the sameThe sheet container / value document container is inserted like the (previous) sheet stack / value document stack, in particular in a different storage area of this sheet container / value document container than the (previous) sheet stack / value document stack. Preferably, the control device and / or the sheet processing device / value document processing device are configured to initiate the above-mentioned steps. For this purpose, the control device has, for example, a processor that executes software to initiate the above-mentioned steps and that communicates with the correspondingly controlled adjustment devices of the components to be moved (e.g., lifting floor, storage floor, gripping device). The control device also communicates, for example, with a control device of the sheet processing device / value document processing device, which controls the processing of the sheets / value documents, in particular their transport and stacking. In particular, the control device and / or the sheet processing device / value document processing device are configured to cause - that the stacking of sheets / value documents by means of the stacker wheel onto the sheet stack / value document stack formed on the lifting floor is interrupted before the insertion of the storage floor, and if necessary, while stacking is interrupted, the lifting floor is lowered further downwards, and / or - that, after the insertion of the storage floor, the stacking of the further sheets / value documents by means of the stacker wheel onto the storage floor arranged below the stacker wheel is started in order to form the further sheet stack / value document stack on the storage floor, and / or - that, during and / or after the stacking of the sheets / value documents onto the sheet stack / value document stack located on the lifting floor, the lifting floor is lowered downwards, in particular while the stacker wheel is lowering sheets / value documents on theSheet stack / stack of valuable documents is deposited, and / or - that the gripping device grips the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents between two gripping elements of the gripping device and compresses the gripped sheet stack / stack of valuable documents against the stacking direction, and / or - that, before the gripping device is introduced into the output area, a pre-compression of the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents deposited on the lifting floor is carried out between the lifting floor and the storage floor in the opposite direction to the stacking direction, in which the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents deposited on the lifting floor is clamped and pressed together between the lifting floor and the storage floor, wherein the lifting floor, for example with the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents deposited on it, is raised in the direction of the storage floor in order to clamp the sheet stack / stack of valuable documents between the lifting floor and the storage floor, and the raising of the lifting floor after clamping theSheet stack / value document stack is continued in order to compress the sheet stack / value document stack between the lifting floor and the storage floor opposite to the stacking direction, and / or - that the insertion of the gripping device and the removal of the sheet stack / value document stack by means of the gripping device and, if applicable, also the pre-compression is carried out while the further sheet stack / value document stack is formed or stacked on the storage floor, and / or - that the stacking of sheets / value documents by means of the stacker wheel on the further sheet stack / value document stack located on the storage floor is started before the insertion of the gripping device and / or before the removal of the sheet stack / value document stack located on the lifting floor by means of the gripping device from the output area. The sheet processing device can be a device for processing flat electrode elements which are used to formElectrode element stacks are formed. The sheets mentioned in this application are then flat electrode elements. The term flat electrode element is understood to mean an electrode element that has a much larger surface area compared to its thickness, e.g., whose length and width are at least 10 times the thickness. The flat electrode elements are, for example, electrode elements for an electrochemical energy storage device or an energy converter. In the electrode element stack, similar flat electrode elements, but also different flat electrode elements can be stacked. The flat electrode elements are, for example, monocells, anodes, cathodes, separators, anode-separator combinations, cathode-separator combinations, or anode-separator-cathode-separator combinations. The processing of the flat electrode elements in the sheet processing device designed to form electrode element stacks can involve transportingand stacking the flat electrode elements and, if necessary, testing the flat electrode elements. Accordingly, the device can have one or more transport devices by means of which the flat electrodes are transported (e.g., past sensors for testing them) and transported to the stacker wheel that stacks the flat electrode elements. The device is used, for example, in the production of flat electrode elements or battery cells. The sheet processing device can be a value document processing device that is designed to process value documents, in particular to test and, if necessary, sort value documents. It has, for example, one or more transport devices by means of which the value documents are transported past sensors for testing the value documents and transported to the stacker wheel that stacks the processed value documents. TheThe value document processing device also has, for example, a separating device, by means of which the value documents are separated from an input stack and fed to one of the transport devices. The respective value document stack of the processed value documents is output in the output area of the value document processing device. The value documents are, for example, banknotes, checks, ID cards, but the invention relates to any type of value document. The control device can be configured to control the gripping of the sheet stack / value document stack deposited in the output area and the depositing of the sheet stack / value document stack into the sheet container / value document container by means of the gripping device. The sheet container / value document container has, for example, at least two receiving sections, and the control device can be configured to control the gripping device and / or a movement of the sheet container / value document containercontrol that several sheet stacks / value document stacks that were output by the sheet processing device / value document processing device are successively deposited in different receiving sections of the same sheet container / value document container. The sheet processing device / value document processing device can also have one or more filling devices that are configured to fill sheet containers / value document containers with the sheet stacks / value document stacks output from the sheet processing device / value document processing device. This filling device(s) can be moved towards and / or docked and / or attached to the sheet processing device / value document processing device. The control device can also be configured to cause the gripping device of the sheet processing device / value document processing device (respectively) to pick up aThe gripping device can be attached to the sheet processing device / value document processing device or be a device designed separately, e.g., a robot gripper. Further advantages, features, and possible applications of the present invention will become apparent from the following description in conjunction with the figures. They show: Fig. 1a Example of a value document processing device, Fig. 1b Detailed view of a value document processing device without a cover in the area of theOutput area according to an embodiment, Fig. 2 Snapshot during the removal of a stack of valuable documents from the valuable document processing device by means of a gripping device, Fig. 3a-l Steps for outputting a stack of valuable documents and removal thereof by a gripping device according to an embodiment, Fig. 4a-b the moving of the storage shelf out of the output area. Figure 1a shows a valuable document processing device 60 according to an embodiment, which is configured for sorting, counting and / or checking the valuable documents and for providing processed valuable documents for removal by a gripping device (which is located under the cover of the filling device 1) or, if necessary, for outputting them into one of its output compartments 63, 64. The gripping device can transport the removed valuable document stacks, for example, into a valuable document container that is provided in the filling device 1. The input of the valuable documents intoThe input compartment 61 of the value document processing device 60 can be automatically accessed using an input module 10, in which value documents are removed in stacks from value document containers. The value document processing device 60 is used, for example, in a cash center. The value documents provided in the input compartment 61 of the value document processing device 60 are individually removed from the input compartment by means of a separator and transported in the value document processing device 60 along a transport path past one or more sensors (not shown). In the process, physical properties of the value documents are recorded and converted into corresponding sensor signals, which are used by a control and evaluation device of the value document processing device 60 to recognize and check the value documents, for example, with regard to quality, denomination, authenticity, or condition. Along theSwitches arranged along the transport path are controlled such that the value documents are transported, depending on the result of the recognition or verification, to different output compartments 63, 64 or to the output area 62, from which they are removed by the gripping device 30, see Fig. 1b. A banding device and / or packaging device for the formed stacks of value documents can be connected to the output compartments 63, 64, for example. The value documents transported to the output area 62 can be, for example, reject value documents that are rejected during the verification by the value document processing device 60, while value documents accepted during the verification are deposited in the output compartments 63, 64. Alternatively, banknotes accepted during the verification can also be transported to the output area 62. Several such output areas 62 can also be installed on a value document processing device 60.In front of the output compartments 63, 64 and in front of the output area 62 of the value document processing device 60 there is a stacker wheel 65 in the value document processing device 60, with which the value documents are stacked for their output. The filling device 1 is used to fill value document containers 5 with the value document stacks provided in the output area 62, e.g. the value document stack 40, which are deposited in the output area 62 of the value document processing device 60. For this purpose, a (empty or partially filled) value document container 5 to be filled is fed manually or automatically to the filling device 1 at its feed interface 2 designed as a feed opening, see Fig. 1b. The container 5 is divided by separating elements into several receiving sections, of which a receiving section 6a can be seen in Fig. 2. The supplied container 5 is then transported to the filling station using transport devices.device 1 into a filling area 3 of the filling device 1, in which the container 5 is filled with stacks of valuable documents, see Fig. 2. After filling, the filling device transports the container 5 filled with stacks of valuable documents from the filling area 3 to the output interface 4 of the filling device, designed as an output opening, in order to make the container 5 ready for manual removal from the filling device 1, or for automatic removal of the filled container, if necessary by means of a conveyor belt. The movement of the container 5 through the filling device is controlled by a control device 80 of the filling device, see Fig. 1b. The transport path of the containers in the filling device 1 can be designed such that the containers are deflected twice (horizontally or vertically) by 90° on their transport path from the feed interface to the output interface. The containers 5 to be filled each have aor several receiving sections, each designed to receive a stack of valuable documents. Preferably, the containers or receiving sections are open at their top, so that stacks of valuable documents can be inserted into the container from above. The container 5 can have at least two receiving sections along its longitudinal direction, and the control device 70 can be designed to control the gripping device 30 and, if applicable, the transport device of the filling device such that several stacks of valuable documents, which were output by the valuable document processing device, i.e., which were formed, for example, by being placed one after the other on the lifting floor 22, are successively placed in different receiving sections of the same container 5 positioned in the filling area. The gripping device 30 is controlled by a control device 70 and has two gripping elements 31, 32, which can be moved away from one another and towards one another by means of a motor.to grip the respective stack of valuable documents between the two gripping elements 31, 32, see Fig. 2. In order to grip valuable document stacks of significantly different sizes and to insert them into the container, different opening widths of the gripping device can be provided for moving the gripping elements of the gripping device apart. The control device 70 can also be designed to control the transport device of the filling device 1. When using different container types whose receiving section(s) have different positions along the longitudinal direction of the container and / or have different lengths, the control device 70 and / or the control device of the valuable document processing device can have information about the predetermined position and, if applicable, length of the receiving sections depending on the container type. The information about the container type of the respective container to be filled can be preset oran operator (if necessary, container-specific) or determined automatically based on container identification data (if necessary, container-specific). The control device 70 then controls the opening width of the gripping elements depending on the container type and, if necessary, depending on the receiving section to be filled (if the container type is known to have receiving sections of different sizes). In the output area 62 of the value document processing device 60, below the stacker wheel 65 there is a rake-like lifting floor 22 on which value documents can be stacked into a value document stack by the stacker wheel 65. Above the lifting floor there is temporarily inserted a rake-like storage floor 20 (see Fig. 2), on which value documents can be temporarily stacked by the stacker wheel 65. An embodiment for outputting the value document stack 40 from theThe valuable document processing device 60 and its removal by the gripping device are described in the following Figures 3a-l. In Fig. 3a, the output area 62 is shown at a time when some valuable documents have been stacked by the stacker wheel 65 on the storage shelf 20 to form a valuable document stack, and the lifting floor 22 is moving straight up to the storage shelf 20. Optionally, a short stacking pause of the stacker wheel 65 is inserted in order to transfer the valuable document stack from the lifting floor 22 to the storage shelf 20 as safely as possible. For this purpose, the control device 70 can initiate a stacking pause of the stacker wheel 65 as soon as the lifting floor 22 has reached the underside of the storage floor 20, e.g. by means of a corresponding signal to the control device of the value document processing device 60. Shortly after the start of this stacking pause of the stacker wheel 65, the control device 70 then causes the storage floor 20 to be raised by means of aAdjusting device 37, e.g. a motor, is retracted backwards into the device 60 in order to strip the further stack of valuable documents 40 deposited thereon against a rear wall 21 of the output area 62 located behind the storage shelf 20 (cf. Fig. 2) and thereby deposit it from the storage shelf 20 onto the lifting floor 22 arranged underneath. Figs. 4a, 4b show the storage shelf being moved back through the rear wall 21 of the output area 62 (stack of valuable documents not shown). Fig. 4a and Fig. 3b show the moment at which the storage shelf 20 is moved halfway backwards, and Fig. 4b shows a time when the storage shelf 20 is moved out of the output area 62. In order to enable the lateral movement of the storage shelf 20 to the rear through the rear wall 21 of the output area 62, the rear wall has openings 38, see Fig. 4a,b, which are complementary to fingers of the rake-shaped storage shelf 20, so that they penetrate through the openings 38can. In Fig. 3c, the storage shelf 20 has already been moved all the way back and is located behind the rear wall 21 of the output area 62. The stack of valuable documents 40 has thus been transferred onto the lifting floor 22. As soon as the stack of valuable documents has been transferred onto the lifting floor 22, the optional stacking pause of the stacker wheel 65 is ended and the stacker wheel 65 continues stacking valuable documents on the stack of valuable documents 40 placed on the lifting floor. The control device 70 sends a corresponding signal to the control of the valuable document processing device 60, which then transports processed valuable documents to the stacker wheel 65. In order to make space for the additional valuable documents, the lifting floor 22 with the stack of valuable documents 40 is lowered step by step or continuously during stacking by means of the stacker wheel 65, see Fig. 3d. This tracking process is carried out by the control device 70 based on the signal from capacitiveSensors 36 are controlled, which are arranged on the side wall of the output area 62 directly below the stacker wheel 65 and detect the stack of valuable documents 40, see Fig. 2. The stacking of valuable documents by means of the stacker wheel 65 onto the stack of valuable documents 40 is then continued until an insertion condition is met. As an insertion condition, for example, one can use that the stack of valuable documents 40 has at least a certain number of valuable documents (e.g. 500) and / or that the lifting floor 22 has reached a certain position in the lower section of the output area 62 when lowering, e.g. a lower stop, and / or that the upper stacking end of the stack of valuable documents 40 is below a certain position, which is monitored with the aid of light barriers 35, see Fig. 3e. As soon as the insertion condition is met, the storage base 20 is inserted into the output area 62 of the value document processing device. For this purpose, the storage base 20 isbrought to its position directly beneath the stacker wheel 65 at the rear through the rear wall of the output area 62, see Fig. 3f. For the lateral insertion of the storage shelf 20, a further short stacking pause of the stacker wheel 65 is preferably inserted in order to avoid a lateral collision of the laterally inserted storage shelf 20 with valuable documents that are just being deposited. For example, the valuable document processing device 60 performs the stacking pause of the stacker wheel 65 as soon as the valuable document stack 40 has at least a certain number of valuable documents (e.g., 500). Alternatively, the further stacking pause can also be omitted, e.g., if the storage shelf 20 can be brought into position very quickly and / or the exact time of insertion is specifically placed between two valuable documents to be stacked with the stacker wheel 65. This optional stacking pause for inserting the storage shelf 20 and / or the above-mentioned optional stacking pause for transferring theStacks of valuable documents from the storage base 20 to the lifting base 22 can be accompanied by a separation and / or processing pause of the valuable document processing device. Preferably, however, the valuable document processing device 60 continues the separation and processing of valuable documents during the stacking pause of the stacker wheel 65 and transports the valuable documents separated and processed during the stacker pause to another destination of the valuable document processing device 60, e.g., to another stacker / to another output area / to a shredder of the valuable document processing device 60. The relevant stacking pause is then inserted only individually for this stacker wheel 65. After the lateral insertion of the storage shelf 20 under the stacker wheel 65, see Fig. 3g, further value documents can be stacked by means of the stacker wheel 65, but now on the storage shelf 20 arranged below the stacker wheel (instead of the lifting floor 22) in order tothe storage floor 20 to form another stack of valuable documents 41. The lowering of the lifting floor 22 with the stack of valuable documents 40 located thereon is terminated as soon as the lifting floor 22 has reached a specific position in the lower section of the output area 62 during lowering, e.g. a lower stop and / or as soon as the upper end of the stack of valuable documents 40 is below the specific position, which is monitored by the light barriers 35, cf. Fig. 3f, 3g. The stack of valuable documents 40 is moved downwards with the help of the lifting floor 22 and thus made available for removal by the gripping device 30. The stack of valuable documents 40 can then be removed from the output area 62 by means of the gripping device 30. Before the stack of valuable documents 40 is removed by means of the gripping device 30, a pre-compression of the stack of valuable documents 40 formed on the lifting floor can optionally also be carried out. This pre-compression step is e.g.carried out when it is known that the valuable documents in the valuable document stack 40 tend to bulge (e.g. in the case of reject valuable documents) and the stack height could therefore be higher than the gripping device can grip. For pre-compression, the lifting floor 22 moves up again with the valuable document stack 40 deposited thereon towards the storage floor 20 until it presses the valuable document stack 40 from below against the storage floor 20, so that the valuable document stack is compressed between the storage floor 20 and the lifting floor 22, cf. Fig. 3h. By pre-compressing, the stack height is reduced to an extent that is less than the maximum opening width of the gripping elements 31, 32 of the gripping device 30. During pre-compression, the stacking of the further valuable documents onto the storage floor 20 can be continued by the stacker wheel 65. To remove the stack of valuable documents 40, the gripping device 30 engages with its upper gripping element 31 into the grooves of the rake-likeformed storage base 20 and with its lower gripping element 32 into the grooves of the rake-like lifting base 22, see Fig. 3i. In order to securely grasp the valuable document stack, the gripping device 30 compresses the already pre-compressed valuable document stack somewhat further, e.g., until a certain counterforce of the valuable document stack is reached, see Fig. 3j. The gripping device 30 pulls the valuable document stack 40 deposited on the lifting floor 22 with its gripping elements 31, 32 forwards out of the output area 62 and thus removes the valuable document stack 40 from the lifting floor 22 from the output area 62. By means of a pivoting movement downwards (by rotation about the axis A, see Fig. 2, Fig. 3k), the gripping device 30 brings the valuable document stack 40 into a lowering position directly above the filling position 13 of a valuable document container 5 arranged in the filling area 3, see Fig. 3l. Previously, at the filling position 13, the receiving section 6a of the valuable documentdocument container into which the stack of valuable documents is to be inserted. In the meantime, the lifting floor 22, which has been freed from the stack of valuable documents, moves upwards again in the direction of the storage floor 20, see Fig. 3k, 3l. While the stack 40 is removed from the output area 62 by the gripping device 30 and the lifting floor moves upwards, the stacking of further valuable documents on the storage floor 20 can be continued to form the further stack of valuable documents 41, see Fig. 3k, 3l. When the lifting floor 22 has reached the top of the storage floor 20, the transfer of the further stack of valuable documents 41 from the storage floor 20 to the lifting floor 22 can be carried out, as described above for Fig. 3b, 3c. The process described for the value document stack 40 is then repeated for the further value document stack 41 in order to deposit further value documents onto the further value document stack 41 and then to store the finished value document stack 41 by means of theThe gripping device 30 is used to remove the valuable document stack 40 from the lifting base 22 and from the output area 62 and to place it into the container 5. When the gripping device has reached the lowering position, it is lowered from the lowering position shown in Fig. 3l into the receiving section 6a of the valuable document container with the aid of a linear drive 34 (see Fig. 2), whereby the two gripping elements 31, 32 with the valuable document stack 40 dip into the receiving section 6a. The lowering movement is stopped and the two gripping elements 31, 32 are opened slightly in order to release the valuable document stack 40 and thereby deposit it in the receiving section 6a of the valuable document container 5 (see Fig. 3f). The gripping device is then moved upwards out of the container 5 and is available for inserting the next stack of valuable documents, which is then placed on the lifting base 22. The insertion of the next stack of valuable documents into the other receiving sections 6b-f of theThe removal of the valuable document container 5 is carried out analogously. When the valuable document stack 40 is released, the gripping elements 31, 32 are moved apart to an opening width that is equal to or slightly less than the length of the respective receiving section 6a-f along the longitudinal direction of the container 5. The separating elements 6 present in the container 5 (cf. Fig. 3a) can have grooves on their side facing the inserted valuable document stack, into which the gripping elements 31, 32 dip to release the valuable document stack, whereby they should at most lightly touch them. In order to enable the insertion of valuable document stacks 40 of different sizes into receiving sections of different sizes, different opening widths can be provided for the moving apart of the gripping elements 31, 32 when the respective valuable document stack 40 is released. For example, it can be provided that - in the same or in different containers 5 - receiving sections of severaldifferent lengths may be used. The control device 70 of the gripping device then controls the moving apart of the gripping elements 31, 32 such that the opening width when the valuable document stack is released is adapted to the length of the respective receiving section. The opening width when the valuable document stack 40 is released is preferably selected such that the gripping elements 31, 32 do not strike the separating elements 6 of the container 5 when moving apart. The opening width of the gripping elements can be varied continuously or discretely. For example, the opening width can be varied continuously by a stepper motor for the movement of the gripping elements 31, 32. In this exemplary embodiment, however, a discrete number of opening widths is predetermined in the gripping device 30 by several mechanical plungers, which mechanically limit the moving apart of the gripping elements 31, 32 when the valuable document stack 40 is released and whose position isWith the help of stop magnets 33, it is controlled by the control device 70, see Fig. 2a. By means of a step-by-step movement of a banknote container 5 by the filling device 1, several stacks of valuable documents 40 from the valuable document processing device can be inserted one after the other into the various receiving sections 6a, 6b, ... of the valuable document container 5 by means of the gripping device 30. After the receiving section 6a has been filled, the container 5 is moved further until the receiving section 6b is positioned at the filling position 13. The next stack of valuable documents from the valuable document processing device 60 is then inserted into the receiving section 6b, as described in connection with Fig. 3a-l. In this way, the receiving sections 6a-f of the valuable document container are filled one after the other with stacks of valuable documents. Due to the step-by-step transport of the various receiving sections 6a-f to the same filling position 13, the gripping device30 does not have to travel to different filling positions, but can always travel to the same predetermined filling position 13 to fill the various receiving sections 6a-f. The gripper movement is therefore less complex and therefore requires less space. When all or a predetermined number of receiving sections of the container 5 are filled, the container 5 is transported in the output transport direction (-y) along the output section 14 to the output interface 4 and can be removed there manually or automatically. The respective container positioned in the filling area can be transported step by step along a transport direction through the filling device 1 by means of a transport device of the filling device such that different (e.g. two or more) receiving sections of the same container are arranged one after the other at the predetermined filling position 13 and remain there temporarily until the gripping device 30has placed a stack of valuable documents in the respective receiving section of the container.
