[0001] The present invention relates to a moving walkway comprising a supporting structure and a pallet belt arranged to be movable around the circumference of the supporting structure.

[0002] Moving walkways of the aforementioned type are well-known and efficient devices for transporting people. They are typically used for transporting people horizontally or with a slight incline of up to 12° from one point in a building to another. The pallet conveyor used for transporting users is guided by guide rails arranged in the supporting structure and has two ring-shaped conveyor chains with pallets arranged between them, connecting the two conveyor chains.
