Abstract
The invention relates to an assembly (E) for generating a surface magnetic field comprising first and second ferromagnetic segments (6, 6') that are superposed in a direction y, said assembly further comprising: - at least two permanent magnets, called the upper magnets (3, 4, 5), arranged so as to partially surround the first ferromagnetic segment with the exception of at least one surface of the first ferromagnetic segment, called the first surface (S1), ‐ at least two permanent magnets, called the lower magnets (3', 4', 5'), arranged so as to partially surround the second ferromagnetic segment with the exception of at least one surface of the second ferromagnetic segment, called the second surface (S2), ‐ at least one permanent magnet, called the central magnet (2), arranged between the first and the second magnetic segments so as to be adjacent to the first surface and to the second surface and thereby defining a region, called the first region, of the first surface not covered by the central magnet and a region, called the second region, of the second surface not covered by the central magnet, the first region facing the second region, a magnetization (M 3; M 4; M 5; M 3; M 4; M 5) of the permanent magnets being configured to create said surface magnetic field in a zone (1) between the first region and the second region, so that said surface magnetic field is substantially in the direction y with a predetermined orientation.
