Bed frame (1) with a frame cover (2), comprising at least a first frame part (3) with a dimensionally stable support part (4) attached to the frame part (3), wherein the frame cover (2) covers the frame part (3) together with the support part (4) in its intended position, and a circumferential tensioning strip (5) attached to the frame part (3), which extends transversely to a support plane of the support part (4) and which is covered and encompassed by edges (6) of the frame cover (2), wherein the edges (6) with their free end regions projecting beyond the tensioning strip (5) are folded over and fixed on their underside to components of the tensioning strip (5), wherein the frame part (3) together with the support part (4) and tensioning strip (5) consists of at least two frame segments (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) and at least one first frame segment (8) is pivotable about a first pivot axis relative to a second frame segment (9),wherein the frame cover (2) has an elastic element (13) in a first pivoting area (12) between the first frame segment (8) and the second frame segment (9) and wherein the end areas are detachably clamped or inserted in the intended position onto or into the clamping strip (5) or components of the clamping strip (5).
