[0001] Description

[0002] Sealing profile and arrangement of the sealing profile between a parapet and a window pane in a seal-free design

[0003] The invention relates to a sealing profile and an arrangement of the sealing profile between a parapet and a window pane.

[0004] Document WO 2009 / 143250 A1 describes an exterior weatherstrip assembly for use on an associated vehicle having a downwardly projecting flange extending from a belt tray. The weatherstrip assembly comprises an elongated weatherstrip or exterior weatherstrip assembly with at least one sealing lip for engagement with an associated window of the vehicle. A clip secures the weatherstrip to the downwardly projecting flange, the clip including a fastener for engaging the clip with a contour of the weatherstrip.

[0005] Publication WO 2017 / 155955 A1 discloses a sealing assembly for an associated vehicle. The sealing assembly comprises a body comprising a substantially planar portion dimensioned for snug engagement with the vehicle.

[0006] At least one sealing lip extends outwardly from a first surface of the body to engage an associated surface of a vehicle window. A first hook is provided on the body for receipt over an end tip of the vehicle structure, and a second hook is sized to be at least partially received through an associated opening around the door window opening. The first hook is positioned over the end tip, and then the second hook is rotated until the second hook resiliently deforms outwardly and subsequently snaps into an associated opening, and the substantially planar portion bears along the associated structural assembly of the door to prevent movement of the door.

[0007] Furthermore, a sealing arrangement for sealing window panes and doors of a motor vehicle is known from the document DE 102006 053 094 A. The seal has two elastic sealing sections, one of which serves to seal a retractable window and the other to seal a motor vehicle door against the door frame. Both sealing sections are held together by a decorative strip, which can be made of plastic or metal. The sealing section for the window sits positively in the decorative strip, and the sealing section for the door is placed over a flange of the door frame. For anchoring to the door sealing section, the decorative strip has a U-shaped gap in cross-section which, when the decorative strip is placed on the door sealing section, accommodates an encompassing section of the flange. To ensure a secure fit, the flange features regularly spaced recesses into which the tongue-shaped locking sections of the door seal are pressed by one leg of the trim strip. Due to its multi-part construction and the precisely positioned cutting of the tongue-shaped locking sections, this seal is relatively complex.

[0008] DE 32 30 142 C2 discloses a window shaft seal for retractable panes that can be inserted into a recess in the outer door panel and hooked into place. The upper part of the seal is formed by a lip that rests against the retractable pane on one side and the outer door panel on the other. The material of the sealing profile must be selected with regard to its rigidity, particularly to ensure a firm hold in the recess of the outer door panel on the one hand and sufficient sealing of the pane on the other.

[0009] The prior art also includes the documents US 5 799442 A, DE 103 34 768 A1, DE 689 07478 T2, US 2004 / 0 018 339 A1, JP 2010-18 130 A, DE 102008 053 870 A 1 and DE 697 09 592 T2, WO 2007 / 135 329 A1, DE 199 38258 A1, DE 102005 022 152 A1 and DE 102010 034 340 A1.

[0010] To further explain the invention, a solution of a sealing profile S and an arrangement of the sealing profile between a movable window pane F and a metallic parapet made of sheet metal, for example a door of a motor vehicle 100, is shown in Figure 1.

[0011] Figure 1: A section line A - A of a section runs in a substantially vertical direction between the parapet and the window pane F according to the illustration of the motor vehicle 100 in Figure 1.

[0012] The parapet comprises an outer parapet section B1 and an inner parapet section B2 as a reinforcement sheet. The outer parapet section B1 forms a vertically bent U-shaped fold SB3 in which a metal reinforcement section B4 is arranged to ensure the stability of the fold SB3. The bent vertically running fold SB3 is also referred to by experts as a vertically aligned "standing" flange, on which the sealing profile is arranged.

[0013] The sealing profile comprises a base body S1 in which a metal insert S2, also U-shaped in cross-section, is arranged. The metal insert S2 is also coated on the inside and outside with a soft sealing material, for example, by coextrusion. The metal insert S2 is carried along during the coextrusion process.

[0014] The sealing material of the base body S1 is EPDM, for example. The conventional sealing profile also has outer clamping lips S3 on both sides of the flange and slightly protruding clamping surfaces S4 for attaching the sealing profile to the flange. The base body S1 has an elastic rubber protective layer S5, which is also made of EPDM, for example. The elastic rubber protective layer S5 is located in an exposed area that remains visible after the seal is installed. The connection between the base body S1 and the rubber protective layer S5 is also achieved, for example, by coextrusion.

[0015] The base body S1 further comprises positive-locking back hooks S6, wherein one of the back hooks engages in a first upper opening of the inner parapet part B2 in the assembled state and the other second lower back hook engages in a second lower opening of the inner parapet part B2 in the assembled state, so that the sealing profile is secured in the parapet.

[0016] A damping lip S7, located opposite the window pane F, is made of a material that is less rigid, i.e., more elastic / flexible than the material of the base body S1. It completes the sealing profile. It dampens any contact between the sealing profile and the window pane F.

[0017] The actual outer sealing section, the outer window shaft seal, is formed by an outer window shaft seal lip S8 with an angle, a so-called angle lip, which is firmly connected to the base body S1 via a knuckle joint (no reference symbol). The window shaft seal lip S8 is also made of a material that is less rigid than the material of the base body S1. The softer damping lip S7 and the window shaft seal lip S8 are preferably also formed by coextrusion, with the material used being, in particular, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), particularly preferably olefin-based, such as PP / EPDM (polypropylene / ethylene-propylene-diene rubber). The elastomer can also be cross-linked. Other TPEs, for example, urethane-based, copolyesters, copolyamides, or styrene block copolymers, can also be used. Such elastomers are dimensionally stable yet elastically deformable.Even after more than 1000 deformations, such elastomers return to their original, undeformed shape.

[0018] Reference symbol S8' indicates the position of the window shaft seal lip when the window pane F is closed, and reference symbol S8" indicates the position of the window shaft seal lip when the window pane F is open. The window shaft seal lip S8 has a sliding coating S9. The connection between the base body S1, the lip S8, and the sliding coating S9 is achieved, for example, by coextrusion. The sliding coating can be a flocking material, a low-friction TPE, or a material made of fluorinated polymer (e.g., Teflon®), carbon, or polyoxymethylene (POM).

[0019] Analogous to the outer window shaft seal lip S8, two inner window shaft seals are arranged and designed as coated pane seal lip S10 (compare sliding coating S11 in Figure 1). Reference symbol S10' indicates the position of the pane seal lip when the window pane F is closed, and reference symbol S10" indicates the pane seal lip S10 when the window pane F is open.

[0020] The description illustrates the conventional arrangement and design of a sealing profile. Viewed from the direction indicated by arrow P, it becomes clear that the sealing profile of the conventional design and arrangement is always visible from the outside with the so-called "standing" flange on which the sealing profile sits. In other words, a sealing profile is visible in the parapet area between window pane F and the parapet. To conceal the sealing profile for design reasons, metal strips or foils have previously been used to cover the visible sealing area. These, however, also require fastening and disadvantageously require additional material. The aim and object of the invention is, particularly for design reasons, to provide a sealing profile which is arranged but not visible from the outside, that is to say in a substantially horizontal viewing direction of a motor vehicle, between the window pane F and the parapet.

[0021] The starting point of the invention is a sealing profile which is formed in one piece from an elastomeric material, at least comprising a base body, at least one fastening element, at least one window shaft sealing lip and at least one supporting lip, wherein the at least one fastening element and the at least one window shaft sealing lip as well as the at least one supporting lip are integrally formed on the base body.

[0022] Preferably, the at least one window shaft sealing lip is configured as a straight lip or angled lip at its free end. The preferred configuration as an angled lip advantageously opens up improved possibilities for forming contact surfaces with other components, in a parapet and / or a window pane.

[0023] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the sealing profile comprises a first and a second window shaft sealing lip, which are integrally formed on the base body, wherein the first window shaft sealing lip is in turn formed at its free end as a straight lip or angled lip and the second window shaft sealing lip is formed at its free end as a straight lip.

[0024] It is preferably provided that the base body and the at least one fastening element are formed homogeneously from a stiffer elastomeric material relative to the at least one window shaft sealing lip and the support lip or the first and second window shaft sealing lip and the support lip.

[0025] Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the sealing profile comprises a projection with a support surface on the side of the sealing profile on which the at least one fastening element is arranged, wherein the projection is also formed in a material-to-material manner from the stiffer elastomer material of the base body and is integrally formed on the base body. This projection advantageously supports the sealing profile better on a component, according to the invention on an inner surface of the parapet. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the sealing profile comprises a damping lip on a side of the sealing profile opposite the at least one fastening element, wherein the damping lip is also formed in a material-to-material manner from the stiffer elastomer material of the base body and is integrally formed on the base body. The advantages of the arrangement of a damping lip are explained in the description. The sealing profile does not necessarily have to have such a damping lip.

[0026] Furthermore, it is preferably provided in detail that the at least one fastening element in the cross section which lies transversely to the longitudinal extent xD of the sealing profile [along a section line B - B, Figure 2] is geometrically designed substantially as a "C" shape, wherein a web-like leg of the "C" shape is integrally formed on the base body, while the other leg of the "C" shape forms an open end.

[0027] In detail, it is further preferably provided that both legs, both the web-like leg in the region of the molded web and the other leg, have an undercut substantially at its open end, each forming a step, with both steps forming step surfaces parallel to the base body and step surfaces orthogonal to the base body. In addition to this preferred embodiment, other solutions can be provided. The solution according to the invention enables the sealing profile, in the assembled state, to engage behind another component by means of the undercuts, in particular the parapet. The advantages of the contact surfaces formed by the undercuts are explained in more detail in the description.

[0028] It is also preferably provided that the support lip is L-shaped and is arranged close to the at least one fastening element on that side of the sealing profile on which the at least one fastening element and the projection are also arranged, wherein the at least one fastening element is arranged between the projection and the support lip.

[0029] Finally, it is preferably provided that the at least one fastening element is designed as an “egg-shaped clip” or as a “C”-shaped clip strip, wherein this is explained in more detail in the description and the advantages are explained.

[0030] The invention also relates to an arrangement of the sealing profile with the aforementioned inventive and preferred features, wherein a construction space is formed between a parapet and a window pane and the parapet forms a gap with a predeterminable gap size relative to the window pane, wherein a parapet upper edge extends in its longitudinal extent to the window pane which can be opened reversibly orthogonally to the parapet upper edge.

[0031] The arrangement is characterized according to the invention in that the sealing profile is fastened in an installed state by means of at least one fastening element to an inner side of the parapet in such a way that the at least one fastening element is inserted through at least one opening (preferably several openings) provided in the parapet, wherein in the installed state at least one support lip is supported on the inner side of the parapet and in the installed state at least one window shaft sealing lip is positioned in the installation space in such a way that the window shaft sealing lip seals the gap between the parapet and the window pane with the predeterminable gap size both on the window side and the parapet side, wherein a highest point of the window shaft sealing lip in the gap between the parapet and the window pane is arranged in such a way, that the highest point of the window shaft sealing lip is positioned below the top edge of the parapet.

[0032] With regard to the arrangement, it is intended that at least one projection of the sealing profile is supported on the inside of the parapet during installation.

[0033] The arrangement is preferably further designed such that the at least one window shaft sealing lip is designed as a straight lip or as an angled lip at its free end, so that the respective angled lip is in sealing contact on both sides of the highest point of the window shaft sealing lip, on the one hand on the parapet side below the upper edge of the parapet and on the other hand on the window side.

[0034] Further preferred is an arrangement in which the sealing profile comprises a first and a second window shaft sealing lip, wherein the first window shaft sealing lip is designed as a straight lip or as an angled lip at its free end and the second window shaft sealing lip is designed as a straight lip at its free end, wherein the first window shaft sealing lip, in the installed state of the sealing profile, seals the gap between the parapet and the window pane with the predeterminable gap size, so that the respective angled lip is positioned on both sides of the highest point of the window shaft sealing lip below the upper edge of the parapet and rests on the parapet side on the one hand and on the window side and seals, wherein the highest point of the first window shaft sealing lip is arranged in the gap between the parapet and the window pane in such a way thatthat the highest point of the window shaft sealing lip is positioned below the upper edge of the parapet, while the second window shaft sealing lip is positioned below the first window shaft sealing lip in the installed state in the installation space and its straight lip seals exclusively on the window side.

[0035] Finally, it is preferably provided that an outer parapet part is folded in the area near the window, wherein the formed fold forms the seal-free parapet upper edge, wherein the inner parapet part is arranged in a fold gap which is opposite the parapet upper edge, in which the at least one opening is provided, wherein at least the fold near the window is arranged with its parapet upper edge relative to the window pane in three-dimensional space such that the parapet upper edge of the parapet points towards the window pane, while the parapet parts of the parapet outside the fold near the window are designed and arranged to run essentially coaxially to the window pane.

[0036] Further preferred details of the arrangement are explained in detail in the description.

[0037] The invention is explained with reference to Figure 2.

[0038] Figure 2 shows the sealing profile according to the invention and the arrangement according to the invention of the sealing profile between the movable window pane F and the metallic parapet formed from sheet metal, for example a door of a motor vehicle 100.

[0039] Figure 2: A section line B - B of a section in Figure 2 again runs in a substantially vertical direction between the parapet and the window pane F according to the illustration of the motor vehicle 100 in Figure 2.

[0040] The parapet in turn has an outer parapet part B1 and an inner parapet part B2 as a reinforcing sheet metal part. The outer parapet part B1 forms a standing U-shaped bent fold B3 in which no metallic reinforcing part is arranged to ensure the stability of the fold B3, because according to the invention the fold B3 is no longer a supporting element of the sealing profile. In this embodiment the inner parapet part 2 is inserted at the end into the open "U" of the U-shaped bent fold B3, whereby the outer parapet part B1 is directly stabilized by the inner parapet part B2. The bent fold B3, which according to the invention runs diagonally relative to the window pane 1, is also referred to by those skilled in the art as a "lying" flange, on which the sealing profile according to the invention is arranged in a different way.

[0041] It is essential that the horizontal arrangement of the flange results in a gain in installation space between the inner parapet part B2 and the inside of the window pane F. In other words, a free, enlarged installation space is available between the inner parapet part B2 and the inside of the window pane F, which can be advantageously used for the arrangement of the sealing profile.

[0042] The sealing profile according to the invention comprises a base body 1 in which, unlike the conventional solution, no longer has a metal insert. A metal insert, a stabilizing insert, is no longer necessary in the inventive design, as it is no longer arranged on the "standing" flange. The positioning of the sealing profile according to the invention takes place in a different way, as explained below.

[0043] The sealing material of the base body 1 is, for example, EPDM.

[0044] In the closed state of the window pane F, the sealing profile is arranged in such a way that it is supported on both sides, both on the inner parapet part B2 and on the inside of the window pane F, and is positioned in the available installation space via five or six support points, which are explained below.

[0045] In contrast to the prior art, in a preferred embodiment, two window shaft sealing lips 8 are arranged on the window pane side, which are preferably also molded onto the base body 1 by coextrusion. The material used is, in particular, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), particularly preferably olefin-based, such as PP / EPDM (polypropylene / ethylene-propylene-diene rubber). The elastomer can also be cross-linked. Other TPEs, for example urethane-based, copolyesters, copolyamides, or styrene block copolymers, can also be used. Such elastomers are dimensionally stable yet elastically deformable. Even after more than 1,000 deformations, such elastomers return to their original, undeformed shape.

[0046] The reference numerals 8' show the position of a first upper and a second lower window shaft sealing lip 8 when the window pane F is closed and the reference numerals 8" show the window shaft sealing lips when the window pane F is open.

[0047] In a special way, the first upper window shaft sealing lip 8 is designed as a straight lip or as an angled lip, and the second lower window shaft sealing lip 8 is designed as a straight lip. The preferred design of the angled lip of the first upper window shaft sealing lip 8, which is formed with the angle, will be discussed in more detail below.

[0048] In other words, the sealing profile rests on the window pane F until the window pane F has moved completely under the window shaft sealing lips 8. According to a preferred embodiment with two separate window shaft sealing lips 8 (as shown above and below), when the window pane F is closed, two support points are formed, or only one window-side support point is formed if the functionally integrated window shaft sealing lip 8 already explained in the other preferred embodiment is designed and used as a single lip.

[0049] The window-side support point(s) is / are formed by the contact surface(s) of the window shaft sealing lip(s) 8.

[0050] The mobility of the window shaft sealing lip(s) 8 is preferably achieved by articulated joints in the transition area between the base body 1 and the webs of the window shaft sealing lips 8.

[0051] It should be noted that the first upper window shaft sealing lip 8, which is preferably designed as an angle lip, is not supported with its upper side in the area of the angle when the window pane F is closed on the base body S1 (see Figure 1) of the sealing profile as before, but rests on an underside of the inner parapet part B2.

[0052] Viewed from above from a vertical direction into the outer window shaft, this results in a uniformly closed design along the entire length of the parapet, i.e., in the outer window shaft, which can be kept very narrow, only a small area of the angle of the first upper window shaft sealing lip 8 is visible, while the sealing profile is not visible at all from the horizontal viewing direction P according to Figure 2. The first upper window shaft sealing lip 8 is even located along the parapet just below the upper edge of the parapet formed by the fold B3. In other words, a view of a motor vehicle 100 from a position of the observer away from the vehicle leads the observer to assume that the space between the parapet and the window pane F is designed without a seal. This solution is referred to as “clean design” because the body itself is freed from the sealing profiles that were previously visible even from a distance, i.e. cleaned.

[0053] It is therefore a feature of the sealing profile arranged according to the invention that, in the assembled state, the highest point of the first upper window shaft sealing lip 8 ends at least with the upper edge of the parapet or is even positioned below the upper edge of the parapet.

[0054] The window shaft seal lips 8 have a sliding coating 9. The connection between the base body 1, the window shaft seal lips 8, and the sliding coatings 9 is achieved, for example, by coextrusion. The sliding coating can be a flocking material, a low-frequency TPE, or a material made of a fluorinated polymer (e.g., Teflon®), carbon, or polyoxymethylene (POM).

[0055] Functionally, the first upper window well seal lip 8 fulfills the task of protecting the interior space between the parapet and the window pane F, i.e., the door interior, from water penetration. Experts also refer to the first upper window well seal lip as the water lip.

[0056] The lower window shaft sealing lip 8 has the function of protecting the interior space between the parapet and the window pane F, i.e. the interior of the door, from solid particles (such as dust, coarse dirt, etc.), while at the same time ensuring that the window pane F is arranged in the door in a low-noise manner by being in contact with the window pane F.

[0057] In this respect, it is clear that the design of the sealing profile with two window shaft sealing lips 8 represents a preferred embodiment; however, it is disclosed here that the function of the second lower window shaft sealing lip 8 can also be integrated into the first upper window shaft sealing lip. The contact pressure of such a window shaft sealing lip 8 having the functions is then selected to be correspondingly higher, so that both water and solid particles can be repelled by just one window shaft sealing lip 8. The functionally integrated window shaft sealing lip 8 is then positioned in the region of the first upper window shaft sealing lip 8 shown in Figures 2 and 3 and is preferably designed as an angled lip.

[0058] Figure 3: The figure shows an enlarged perspective view of the sealing profile, with the section B - B corresponding to that in Figure 2. However, Figure 2 only shows the sealing profile and the parapet, with Figure 3 illustrating in particular details of the preferred design of the sealing profile and the longitudinal extent xD of the sealing profile and the parapet.

[0059] A damping lip 15, which has a softer coating 16, is arranged between the window shaft sealing lips 8 on the window pane side. The damping lip 15 is made of the stiffer material of the base body 1 and, analogous to a fastening element 12 explained below, is also integrally formed onto the base body 1 by coextrusion. The end face of the damping lip 15, which has the coating 16, serves as a damping contact surface in the event that the window pane F is, for example, in the "open state" and is slammed shut, so that the window pane F is displaced towards the parapet. The damping lip 15 advantageously limits this displacement path. The material used for the coating 16 is again softer thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), particularly preferably based on olefins such as PP / EPDM (polypropylene / ethylene-propylene-diene rubber).

[0060] At least four support points are provided on the parapet side, which support or support and fix the sealing profile to the inner parapet part B2.

[0061] The first upper window shaft sealing lip 8' is designed as a parapet-side support point, which, when the window pane F is closed, preferably rests with its angled lip on both the window side and the parapet side, so that the first upper window shaft sealing lip 8' forms two support points. Advantageously, the gap S between the window pane F and the parapet is chosen to be very small. The window shaft sealing lip 8' closes the gap S by means of the angle and, thanks to its angled design, advantageously forms a seal on both sides. The aforementioned one-piece fastening element 12 and a projection 13, which will be explained later, are provided and formed as further parapet-side support points. In other words, the fastening element 12 and the projection 13 are arranged on one and the same side of the sealing profile.

[0062] In addition, a support lip 14 is arranged as a further support point, which will also be explained later.

[0063] This results in a total of four parapet-side support points.

[0064] The support lip 14 is again preferably attached to the base body 1 by coextrusion, so the explanations regarding the attachment of the window shaft sealing lips 8 also apply to the support lip 14, which is less rigid. The support lip 14 is designed as an L-shaped leg, allowing for temporary buckling when a force acts on the support lip 14, which will be discussed later in connection with the assembly or arrangement of the sealing profile.

[0065] The one-piece fastening element 12 and the projection 13 belong to the base body 1 in terms of material, in particular because they, like the base body 1, are also formed from the material, preferably EPDM, which is stiffer than the window shaft sealing lips 8 and the support lip 14.

[0066] The projection 13 has a support surface as a support point, which always supports the sealing profile on the inner parapet part B2.

[0067] The one-piece fastening element 12, along with the other elements, also represents an essential element of the design and arrangement of the sealing profile.

[0068] The fastening element 12 is designed as a one-piece fastening element in the shape of a "C" with the base body 1, with the lower web-like leg being orthogonally connected to the correspondingly shaped base body 1, which runs parallel to the inner parapet part B2. The upper leg of the "C" terminates at an open end. Both legs together form the "C" shape.

[0069] In the assembled state, both the upper and the lower leg have an undercut 12A in the sheet metal of the parapet part B2 in a straight extension of the edges, on which undercut the edge of the opening 17 in the parapet part B2, or more precisely, the outer surface of the parapet part B2 at the edge of the opening 17, comes to rest on the surfaces of the undercuts 12A directed towards the opening 17 in the assembled state of the parapet and sealing profile.

[0070] During assembly of the sealing profile, the flexible fastening element 12 is pushed through the opening 16 to bring about the assembled state and, with the step-like undercuts 12A, engages the outer surface of the parapet part B2 at the edge of the opening 17. A worker squeezes the legs of the fastening element 12 together so that he can press the fastening element 12 through the opening 17. The projection 13 and also the support lip 14 come into contact with the inner surface of the parapet part B2. In order to be able to press the fastening element 12 completely into the opening 17, the worker presses over the "L"-shaped support lip 14 which is already in contact. The support lip 14 is thus arranged close to the fastening element 12, whereby, according to the exemplary embodiment, it is preferably formed just below the fastening element 12.When the fastening element is pressed in while simultaneously overpressing the support lip 14, the fastening element 12 engages the outer surface of the parapet part B2 via the undercuts 12A. The worker then stops handling the fastening element, and the overpressed, bent support lip 14 returns to its only slightly bent starting position, exerting a sufficiently large holding force on the fastening element 12, which – and with it the sealing profile – is thereby advantageously fixed in the inner parapet part B2 in a reversibly detachable manner. After the sealing profile has been installed, the fastening element 12, the projection 13, the support lip 14, and the first upper angled window shaft sealing lip 8' (parapet side and window pane side), and the second lower window shaft sealing lip 8' provide support within the installation space between the window pane F and the parapet.

[0071] It is understood that the respective section A - A of the conventional sealing profile and the section B - B of the sealing profile according to the invention only show the cross-section of the sealing profiles at the respective cutting line.

[0072] The coextruded sealing profiles, in accordance with their strand-like production in the present application, run in the x-direction x, i.e., according to the illustrations in Figures 1 and 2, in the longitudinal extension x of the motor vehicle 100. For clarification, Figure 3 shows a perspective enlarged view of the parapet and the sealing profile (without the window pane F), which illustrates the strand shape of the sealing profile matching the section B-B. For a better understanding of the concluding explanations, please consider Figures 2 and 3 together below. The reference numerals in Figure 3 correspond to the reference numerals in Figure 2.

[0073] Due to the extruded shape of the sealing profile, it follows that after the sealing profile has been manufactured, the fastening element 12 is also initially a one-piece molded / extruded “C” strip running in the longitudinal extension xD of the sealing profile, which forms a unit with the base body 1 of the sealing profile in terms of material.

[0074] In order for the sealing profile according to the invention to be clipped into the inner parapet part B2, it is now provided with regard to the arrangement of the sealing profile in the inner parapet part B2 that essentially rectangular openings 17 (at least one opening) or elongated holes (at least one elongated hole) are arranged in the material of the inner parapet part B2, which in the assembled state correspond with regard to the position and the geometric shape to the described outer contour of the fastening element 12.It is provided that the one-piece "C" strip strand running in the longitudinal extension xD of the sealing profile is trimmed accordingly after the production of the sealing profile, so that individual C-shaped clips or individual C-shaped strips are formed, which can be fitted into corresponding openings 16 provided for this purpose in such a way that in the assembled state the already explained rear locking takes place by means of the undercuts 12A of the fastening element 12.

[0075] Furthermore, in the sealing profile according to the invention, the inner pane sealing lips S10, in particular again preferably two inner window shaft seals, are arranged and configured analogously to the conventional sealing profile. Reference symbol S10' in Figure 2 also shows the position of the pane sealing lip when the window pane F is closed, and reference symbol S10" shows the pane sealing lip S10 when the window pane F is open.

[0076] In a preferred embodiment, a corrosion protection seal is also provided, which runs in the longitudinal extension xB of the parapet and is arranged such that at the transition point where the inner parapet part 2 is inserted into the open "U" of the U-shaped bent fold B3, a corrosion protection seal 18 is provided, which prevents corrosion at this transition point.
