Abstract

An optical communication system includes: an earth station device; and a satellite station device configured to perform a relay process of relaying information that is transmitted and received between a communication terminal and the earth station device. In the relay process, the satellite station device performs information transmission with the communication terminal, using RF (Radio Frequency) signals, and performs information transmission with the earth station device, using optical signals including analog signals.
