AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing atomizers require a lengthy waiting time for the aerosol generating matrix to be delivered to the atomizing core, affecting user experience.

Method used

An atomizer design with a movable base assembly and fluid communication channel allows for increased pressure in the liquid storage cavity, enabling the aerosol generating matrix to be rapidly delivered to the atomizing core during assembly, reducing waiting time and simplifying the operation process.

Benefits of technology

The solution shortens the waiting time for the atomizer to be ready for use by increasing the speed of delivering the aerosol generating matrix to the atomizing core, enhancing user experience through simplified assembly and reduced dry-burning risks.

Abstract

An atomizer and an aerosol generating device are provided. The atomizer includes an oil storage bin and an atomizing assembly. The oil storage bin includes a housing assembly, a base assembly and a first liquid inlet channel, the base assembly and the housing assembly define and form there-between a liquid storage cavity configured to store an aerosol generating matrix. At least a portion of the base assembly is movable in a first direction relative to the housing assembly. The atomizing assembly is capable of being in fluid communication with the oil storage bin through the first liquid inlet channel during assembly of the atomizing assembly and the oil storage bin, and enabling a reduced volume of the oil storage bin.
