Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Sales display Technical field of the invention
[0001] The present technical solution relates to a display stand for storing goods for sale. In particular, it relates to a display stand for storing sheet metal parts, for example roofing sheets, and their accessories. State of the prior art
[0002] In the current state of the art, sales displays and shop gondolas are known for storing various goods in shops, and customers can take goods directly from them. Examples of well-known displays are described, for example, in Czech utility models CZ 5304 U1 or CZ 8017 Ul. However, these displays are intended for small goods, they cannot be used for storing larger and heavier parts, such as roofing sheets.
[0003] It would therefore be appropriate to propose a solution that allows the storage of also larger and heavier goods that cannot be offered using known displays. Essence of the technical solution
[0004] The disadvantages of the known solutions of the state of the art are to a certain extent overcome by a sales display comprising a base and two opposite walls, the two walls being at their lower ends integral with the base and approaching each other upwards. Each of the two walls has an inner face and an outer face, the inner faces of the two walls being turned towards each other. The outer faces are therefore turned away from each other and are visible when looking at the display from the front or from behind. At least one of the walls is provided on the outer face with a shelf for placing goods, and between the two walls is defined a storage space for accessories. This space is therefore delimited by the inner faces of the two walls, it therefore narrows upwards. This space can be accessible from one lateral side of the display or, preferably, from both.In particular, the goods may be represented by sheet metal parts and the accessories, for example, by smaller sheet metal parts, fasteners, associated tools, etc.
[0005] The shelf may be represented by any element allowing the placement of the goods on the given wall. In particular, it may be a flared part of the wall, projecting outwards (i.e. opposite the other of the walls), the goods in question being able to be placed on this flared part and leaning against the given wall.
[0006] The base is the lower part of the display stand that makes contact with the floor and supports the other components. It may be provided with feet. The walls are preferably rectangular in shape and the plan view of the base is preferably also rectangular. In the accessory storage space, the goods can be stored directly on the base and possibly also on the horizontally oriented partitions, as described in more detail below.
[0007] The present display thus allows stable storage of large parts, in particular metal sheets, which can normally exceed the dimensions of 50 x 100 cm and therefore cannot be stored stably in known displays. Instead of metal sheets, this display is particularly suitable for other flat parts, such as glazing, laminated panels, etc. At the same time, additional space is provided between the walls for smaller associated goods - accessories which are therefore easy to find when selling the goods and clearly associated with the given type of goods. The display according to the present solution can be realized in practically any size for any goods. The base provides sufficient stability and the concrete shape of the shelves as well as the storage space for the accessories can be adapted to concrete goods.
[0008] The shelf is preferably represented by a recess in the given wall, the recess extending over most of the width and most of the height of the given wall. This recess has at least one lower surface and one rear surface for placing and supporting goods, the rear surface separating the recess from the storage space for accessories. The lower surface may be part of the base, but it may also represent a separate part. The recess preferably also extends over most of the thickness of the given wall and its depth is preferably (i.e. it has a dimension in the direction of the wall thickness) at least 5 cm to provide space for supporting several sheet metal parts. The recess may be further delimited by the side surfaces or by the upper surface. The recess allows for stable storage of goods, especially when it extends above the base and a part of the base is directly below the recess in contact with the ground. The wall delimiting the recess may be made of a single piece of hollowed material, but it is preferably made of several pieces, for example several plates and boards, for easier production.
[0009] Preferably, the recess further comprises on the lower surface a stop offset from the rear surface for fixing the lower end of the supported goods. The stop therefore partially closes the recess on an outer face and contributes to ensuring the stability of the goods stored therein. By For example, it can be made in the form of a plate passing across the entire width of the recess, but it can also be made, for example, in the form of a bar or several separate blocks of material which are fixed to the lower surface of the recess.
[0010] The accessory storage space may comprise at least one vertically oriented partition which divides the accessory storage space into compartments. In this way, it is possible to separate several types of smaller goods from each other in this space and to organize these goods more clearly. These partitions, as well as the horizontal partitions described below, may be attached to the base, to the inner face of the walls or to other partitions. They may be made of the same material as the rest of the display, so for example wooden plates, when the display is at least partly made of wood, but they may also be made of another material, for example metal or plastic plates, metal grids, etc.
[0011] Similarly, the accessory storage space may include at least one horizontally oriented partition that divides the accessory storage space into compartments in the horizontal direction. This may significantly increase the overall size of the storage area within this space.
[0012] The two walls can touch each other at their upper ends and be integral with each other. It is also possible to connect these walls with an additional component. Fixed connections on the display can be made, for example, using screw connections, nails, gluing, etc.
[0013] The width of the base is preferably at least 60 cm. The length of the base is preferably at least 60 cm. The height of the display is preferably at least 120 cm, more preferably at least 150 cm. These dimensions allow the storage of heavier and larger parts, for which the present display is particularly suitable.
[0014] The sales display can be at least partly made of wood. This can be solid wood, but also other wooden materials such as particle board. The base can then, for example, take the form of a pallet - since pallets are designed with a high load capacity, the pallet base is very stable. But in general, practically any material or combination of materials can be used for the display.
[0015] An information label may be affixed above the shelf, on at least one of the walls. The wall may then be provided with a surface for the label, on which the label may be fixed, preferably removably. Since the display is a priori used for the retrieval of goods directly by customers, the placement of the label is suitable for identifying the type of goods or its use, identify the manufacturer, etc. Description of the figures
[0016] The essence of the technical solution is set out below with the help of examples of its implementation which are described with reference to the attached drawings, in which:
[0017] [Fig-1] is a schematic representation of a sales display according to the first example of embodiment of the present solution, seen from the side, this view making visible the storage space for the accessories defined between the walls of the display and the division of this space into compartments using the partitions,
[0018] [Fig. 2] is a schematic sectional representation of the view of [Fig.l], when the side surfaces of the recesses forming the shelves for the goods on the outer faces of the two walls of the display stand are not visible, so that the interior of these recesses is visible and the sheets supported in one of them are visible,
[0019] [Fig.3] is a schematic cross-sectional representation of the display of [Fig.l] and 2, seen from the front, so that the arrangement of the compartments inside the display is visible,
[0020] [Fig.4] is a perspective view of the sales display according to the embodiment from [Fig.l] to 3, the structure of the display material also being visible with a base made of a pallet, with roofing sheets located in the shelf and with an information label fixed to the wall above this shelf. Examples of implementation of the technical solution
[0021] The technical solution will be explained in more detail using the embodiment examples with reference to the respective drawings.
[0022] The first example of embodiment of the present solution is shown in [Fig.l] to 4. The sales display in this embodiment comprises a base 1 and two walls 2. The base 1 is made of a wooden pallet and has a width of 80 cm and a length of 120 cm. The height of the display is 225 cm, of which 15 cm is the height of the base 1 and 210 cm is the height of the walls 2 taken in the vertical direction. The front wall 2 and the rear wall 2 are in this embodiment made in a similar manner, so the display is symmetrical with respect to the vertical plane passing longitudinally through the center of the display.
[0023] The two walls 2 are integral with the base 1 at the bottom and move towards each other towards the top, so that when viewed from the side the sales display has the shape of the letter “A”. The inner faces of the walls 2 are turned towards each other and touch each other at the top, while the outer faces of the walls 2 are turned away from each other. At the upper ends the two walls 2 are integral with each other. Each of the walls 2, in this embodiment, has a thickness of about 15 cm and is largely hollow. This hollow part of the wall is a recess serving as a shelf 3 for storing goods 4, which are, in this embodiment, represented by sheet metal parts serving as roof covering.
[0024] The shelf-forming recess 3 is therefore located, in the embodiment shown, on each face of the display stand. This recess extends over the majority of the width, length and thickness of the given wall 2. The inner face of the wall 2 separating the recess from the space 5 for storing accessories (which will be described below) is for example approximately 1 cm. The recess is accessible from the outer face, through which the goods 4 are introduced and removed. The lower surface 6 of the recess is used to place the stored sheets and is provided at the outer end with a stop 8 in the form of a wooden plate crossing the entire width of the wall 2 (see for example [Fig.l] and especially [Fig.2]). The stop 8 ensures that the sheets cannot slip and are thus pressed stably against the rear surface 7 of the recess formed by the inner face of the given wall 2.In the lateral direction, the sheets are fixed by the lateral surfaces of the recess, which are visible in [Fig.l] and not shown in [Fig.2].
[0025] From above, the recess forming the shelf 3 is also delimited by a surface, and this upper surface also partly passes towards the outer face, or the front face, of the given wall 2, where the surface 11 for the label is fixed there, which serves to identify the stored goods 4. In [Fig.l] to 3, the label is not shown, in [Fig.4], the label is visible. In the embodiment shown, on the label are printed the information concerning the stored goods 4 and it is firmly fixed to the surface 11 for the label. The base 1 of the pallet of the display stand comprises, in the embodiment shown, a top plate, nine cube-shaped blocks and three plates, respectively boards, connecting in the longitudinal direction individual rows of blocks (see [Fig.3]).
[0026] A storage space 5 for accessories is defined between the two walls 2 of the display stand. In the embodiment shown, this space has a triangular cross-section and serves for the storage of smaller goods 4 associated with the goods 4 in the shelves 3. In the exemplary embodiment, such accessories are represented by screws for fixing sheets and small sheet metal parts such as leeward bars and edge bars. The storage space 5 for accessories is divided in the embodiment shown into smaller compartments by four horizontally oriented partitions 10 and two vertically oriented partitions 9, which are perpendicular to each other. Six compartments are thus created in the lower third of the space, which have an approximately square cross-section and extend over the entire length of the display stand.Above them are two other compartments filling the rest of the space and located one behind the other in the direction . longitudinal, one of these compartments being divided by a horizontally oriented partition 10 (see [Fig.2] as well as [Fig.3]). The arrangement of the compartments, seen from the left face, is also visible in [Fig.4]. Alternative embodiment:
[0027] The dimensions of the display stand may be different in other embodiments, for example a half-pallet may serve as a base 1 and the height of the display stand may be approximately two-thirds compared to the first embodiment. The dimensions of the display stand are chosen according to the goods 4 to be stored in the display stand. The distribution of the partitions and therefore the shape and size of the partitions may be achieved in any other way in alternative embodiments, for example the entire space 5 for storing accessories may be represented by a single compartment without partitions or it may comprise a single horizontal partition. The shape and size of the compartments are also chosen according to the accessories to be stored therein.
[0028] The base 1 may, instead of a pallet, be made, for example, in the form of a rectangular plate provided with four feet. In other embodiments, the base 1 may also be without feet, so that the entire surface of the base 1 rests on the ground. The material of the display may be, for example, plastic or metal or a combination of different materials. In some embodiments, the shelves 3 may be made without side surfaces and possibly even without an upper surface. For example, the walls 2 may be formed in the form of plates without recesses and the shelves 3 may be formed by fixing a profile defining the surface for placing goods 4 to the lower end of each of these plates. The lower surface 6 of the shelves may also be the end portion of the upper surface of the base 1.
[0029] In some alternative embodiments, the shelf 3 is formed only on one of the walls 2, while the other wall 2 is then for example formed only of a plate which closes the space 5 for storing the accessories, but does not serve to support the goods 4. Alternatively, the label can be fixed directly on the wall 2. Instead of a printed label, for example a blackboard for writing with chalk can be used.
[0030] In an alternative embodiment, the walls 2 may each have a different inclination, for example, one wall 2 may be vertical and the other inclined. At the upper ends, the walls 2 may be connected by an additional part, for example by a horizontal plate, so that they do not touch directly, and the space 5 for storing the accessories then has a trapezoidal section. In any embodiment, the shelf may also be divided by partitions.
[0031] The various alternative embodiments mentioned above describe in particular different characteristics by which these embodiments differ from the others. The other characteristics of these embodiments may be common or taken from another embodiment, in particular, all the alternative embodiments may have the other characteristics such as in the first exemplary embodiment, which is shown in the accompanying drawings and is described above in detail with reference to these drawings.
