[0002] Leave-in personal hygiene cosmetic products, such as dry shampoos or leave-in conditioners, have gained popularity in recent years due to their convenience and their more limited environmental impact, particularly regarding water consumption. For example, approximately 70% of the carbon footprint of a shampoo comes from the energy required to heat the water used during a shower.

Indeed, they need to be rinsed or reconstituted with water, thus resulting in the consumption of potable water. Therefore, there are no liquid personal hygiene products that do not contain potable water (added water) in their formulation and do not require rinsing.
