The present invention relates to a cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising at least one merocyanin and at least one thiopyridinone compound, suitably selected, as well as at least one chelating agent. The present invention also relates to the use of at least one chelating agent to reduce discoloration and limit its increase over time in cosmetic or dermatological compositions comprising at least one merocyanin and at least one thiopyridinone compound, suitably selected.
