Abstract

MASCARA COMPOSITION Mascara compositions with improved aesthetics are offered. Such compositions generally include a plurality of waxes, including sunflower wax, and a plurality of behenates, including tribehenin and behenyl behenate. The plurality of waxes may include sunflower wax, tribehenin, behenyl behenate, and at least one additional wax. The plurality of waxes may be present in a total amount of 5% to 35% by weight of the mascara composition. The combined total amount of sunflower wax, tribehenin, and behenyl behenate may be 5% to 20% by weight of the composition. The mascara composition may optionally include not more than 10% water, such as 2% to 7% by weight of the mascara composition. Figure for the abbreviation: none
