Abstract

This optical system (1), designed to focus the image of a surface (5) of an object to be observed (3) onto a fixed image focal plane (7), comprises, aligned in that order on an optical axis (A), a first optical group (G1) positioned at a distance (D1) from the object to be observed (3), a second fixed optical group (G2), and a third fixed optical group (G3). The first optical group (G1) is movable longitudinally along the optical axis (A) between two positions (P1; P2) so as to focus the image of the object to be observed (3) onto the fixed image focal plane (7) for any radius of curvature of the surface (5) of said object to be observed (3) within the interval [-∞∶-D1 / 2]∪[D1 / 2:+∞]. Claims

to infinity, the optical system (1) comprising a pupil (13) between said second optical group (G2) and the third optical group (G3).

Optical system (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, comprising a fourth optical group (G4) positioned between the third optical group (G3) and the image focal plane (7) fixed and movable longitudinally along the optical axis (A) in concert with the first optical group (G1) so as to focus the image of the object to be observed (3) on the fixed image focal plane (7).

10. Imaging system comprising the optical system according to any one of claims 1 to 9 and an electromagnetic radiation sensor positioned on the image focal plane (7). [Fig. 1]
