Foldable elevator apron

Abstract

The present invention relates to a foldable elevator apron (1) which ensures the safety of the operator, since its size changes as soon as it encounters an object, for example the operator's foot. In this way, the invention has smaller space requirements at the bottom, while fully covering the regulation regarding the size for the case of extrication, and the safety of the operator. This is achieved through the design of the apron (1) which consists of two metal pieces, where a moving metal piece (7) can slide relative to a fixed piece (4) through a sliding element (8) which is characterized by innovative design and combines a pin (801), a washer (802) and a disc-shaped element (803).
