Methods and systems for selection and treatment of patients with inflammatory diseases

Abstract

This document describes methods and systems for identifying subjects suitable for treatment with CD30L activity or expression inhibitors, such as anti-CD30L antibodies. The methods and systems disclosed herein identify subjects suitable for treatment based on the presence or absence of a genotype indicating the disease or condition in which the CD30L inhibitor is appropriate for treatment. Exemplary conditions include Crohn's disease and primary sclerosing cholangitis. Compositions for detecting the genotypes described herein and methods of using them are also provided.
