Abstract

The disclosure relates, among other things, to a user apparatus that includes means for receiving, from a network device, configuration information that organizes a set of random access channel (RACH) events, RO, into primary and secondary ROs; means for receiving, from the network device, a status indicating whether physical random access channel (PRACH) detection is performed by the network device during the secondary RO; and means for transmitting a PRACH preamble based on the received configuration information and the received status.
