Exercise mouthpiece

Abstract

This mouthpiece is primarily intended for athletic use and is separated into two halves. The purpose of this separate mouthpiece is to prevent molars from collapsing during sports, to allow for conversation and hydration without removing the mouthpiece, and to avoid the risk of over-elevation of healthy teeth other than the molars. By covering the appropriate number of molars on either the top or bottom of the dentition, a stable fit is achieved, allowing for use during sleep and preventing teeth grinding and apnea. Therefore, this mouthpiece can be used in a wide range of applications, including household chores and the workplace, outside of sports. Furthermore, the mold of this mouthpiece, obtained through repeated use, creates a shape that is consistent with the user's tooth alignment, so it can also be used as a medical mouthpiece, as long as it conforms to the principles of chewing. In addition to its effectiveness as an athletic mouthpiece, the separate medical mouthpiece also allows for normal eating.
