Abstract

The article of the present design is a cleaning tool used mainly for scrubbing ceramic washstands. As shown in the reference oblique view, the cleaning tool of this article consists of a roughly rectangular parallelepiped "porous body" and a "cleaning cloth." A synthetic woven fabric with abrasive particles fixed to its surface by a dyed synthetic resin is fused to the porous body of urethane foam at the "fused part" at one end in the longitudinal direction. When using the product in the state shown in the reference oblique view, the cleaning cloth is wrapped around the porous body as shown in the oblique view 1 showing the deformed state or the oblique view 2 showing the deformed state, and the cleaning cloth is brought into contact with the object to be cleaned and slid to clean. The porous body of urethane foam acts as a cushion, allowing efficient cleaning even on curved surfaces. The abrasive particles can clean dirt stuck to ceramic washstands. As the cleaning tool is used, the abrasive particles fixed to the surface of the cleaning cloth fall off together with the dyed synthetic resin. When the cleaning ability of the cleaning cloth is lost due to the falling off of abrasive particles, the cleaning cloth can be used inside out, from the perspective view 1 showing the deformed state to the perspective view 2 showing the deformed state, or vice versa. By using both sides of the cleaning cloth, cleaning can be continued for a long time.
