Abstract

This article is a toothbrush for brushing teeth. A neck portion, whose tip of a rod-shaped grip portion for holding by hand is gradually narrowed, is connected to the back side of a head portion where a plurality of brushes bundling a plurality of fiber materials are planted at a plurality of locations. The head portion is substantially disc-shaped, and a triangular slit is formed to fit the interdental papilla (the V-shaped gum between teeth). In accordance with the shapes of both the upper and lower teeth, the slits are intermittently provided at a plurality of locations on the circumferential surface of the head portion so as to be easily applied to the molars (back teeth), and the brushes are mountain-shaped with the central portion higher than the side portions. The shape of the slit in the head portion and the brushes makes it easier to brush teeth and easier to remove dirt considering the teeth and tooth roots.
