Abstract

This article is an athletic top with a cloth name tag that can be inserted and removed from a dedicated small chest pocket. Name tags are typically sewn onto the athletic top to prevent them from falling off even during strenuous exercise. In this case, the name tag may be exposed even when not needed, exposing the information printed on it to others. While name tags on athletic tops can be useful for identifying the wearer's name, for example, during group activities, if they are exposed even when not needed, there is a risk of personal information being leaked. Furthermore, while attaching a name tag to the athletic top with a safety pin allows it to be removed when not needed, the use of safety pins is undesirable during exercise. In contrast, this article features a cloth tag-like or tongue-like name tag, only the upper edge of which is connected to the main body of the top, paired with a dedicated small chest pocket on the chest, allowing the name tag to be inserted and removed from the chest pocket. The upper edge of the name tag may be sewn to the main body of the top or knitted into the main body of the top. The name tag can be taken out of the chest pocket only when needed, and stored in the chest pocket when not needed, thereby protecting the information written on it from prying eyes. Furthermore, this item allows the display / hide state of the information written on the name tag to be easily and safely switched without the need for tools such as safety pins. When the name tag is stored in the chest pocket, the appearance is neat and simple, and the aesthetic appeal is also improved.
