Abstract

The article to which this design pertains is a long busbar used in control circuit wiring for electric vehicles and trains. The design in question features a bent portion formed by flatwise bending and twisting. This configuration limits the bulkiness in the vertical direction to the bent portion alone, while eliminating wrinkles and lifting of the coating resin at the bent portion during bending, preventing cracks and tears and maintaining insulation performance. Furthermore, the design in question allows workers to manually adjust the angle of the bent portion. Therefore, when installing the busbar, fine adjustments can be made on the spot, facilitating smooth installation. Additionally, compared to busbars with bent portions formed by edgewise bending, the design is less likely to warp throughout the entire body, making it suitable for installation by robots.
