Busbar

Abstract

The article to which this design pertains is a long busbar used in control circuit wiring for electric vehicles and trains. The design in question features a bent portion constructed by flatwise bending and twisting. This configuration limits the bulkiness in the vertical direction to the bent portion alone, while eliminating wrinkles and lifting of the coating resin at the bent portion during bending, preventing cracks and tears and maintaining insulation performance. Furthermore, compared to bent portions constructed by edgewise bending, the entire body is less likely to bend, making it suitable for installation by robots.
