Corner pad for baseboards

Abstract

The product to which this design relates is a protruding corner pad for connecting baseboards at the bottom corners of walls. Originally, the protruding corner pad was larger and more angular than the (reference drawing of the conventional product), making it prone to coming off when it came into contact with something. However, the new design is smaller and more rounded than the (reference drawing of the product subject to the design application) and (reference drawing showing the state of use), which allows for more impact to be absorbed and makes it less likely to come off. The new design also features a longer lip, which is angled toward the baseboard and bent at the tip, providing a larger area to fit with the baseboard, increasing the resistance to the baseboard itself and making it less likely to come off.
