Pelvic splint

Abstract

The industrial design for which registration is sought relates to the appearance of a medical device intended for the fixation of the pelvic ring of an injured person. The product is in the shape of a thick, elongated rectangular belt with tapered ends, and is formed to be visually divided into two parts by a rectangular buckle. Each part of the thick belt has one side that is very smooth and the other side that is very rough. In part of the thick belt, a thin, loop-shaped strap is visible, and its outer surface is rough. The product is disclosed in three visual forms: - Tightened form, in which the product is loop-shaped (Figures 1.1-1.5). - Loosened form, in which the product is elongated rectangular (Figures 1.6-1.7). - Folded form, in which the product has multiple rectangles (Figures 1.8-1.9). In the tightened and folded figures, a portion of the thick belt wrapped over the buckle is visible.
