Abstract

This product is a seat for vehicles such as railway cars. It features a back shell structure, which eliminates stress on the rear seat when reclining, and the tapered back and bottom of the shell ensure ample legroom for the rear seat. Additionally, a molding (luggage pad) prevents suitcases and other items from contacting and damaging the sides of the shell. The folding table (in-arm table) is stored within the left armrest when seated; it is retrieved and unfolded by opening the top of the armrest.
