Vehicle cover panel

Abstract

This product is a vehicle cover panel for decoratively covering openings such as the ETC card slot of an on-board toll road automatic toll collection machine (ETC device) installed in a vehicle, or the card slot of a card storage section for storing various types of cards. As shown in the reference perspective view showing the lid in the open position, the cover has a lid that is rotatably attached to the cover body via a shaft. When the lid is open, an ETC card can be inserted into the ETC device. On the other hand, when the lid is closed, the ETC card slot is prevented from being in the driver's line of sight, thus unifying the design of the interior space of the vehicle. As shown in the enlarged reference cross-sectional view showing the sections between C-C' and D-D', the lid has a projection on a part of it, and the cover body has a fitting hole that can be fitted into the projection. By fitting the projection into the fitting hole of the cover body, the cover body can be closed. Furthermore, this product prevents the ETC card inserted into the ETC device from being directly seen from outside the vehicle, even when the driver or other personnel are away from the vehicle. This helps to deter theft targeting ETC cards and prevents foreign objects from entering openings such as the ETC card slot.
