Leaf spring for terminals

Abstract

The article relating to this design is a leaf spring used in terminals for connecting conductors. For example, as shown in the "Reference Perspective View Showing an Example of Use," it is incorporated into a terminal fitting to form a terminal for connecting conductors. When a conductor is inserted in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, the tip of the pressing piece formed on the leaf spring of this article and the clamping surface of the terminal fitting hold the conductor in place, thereby creating an electrical connection.
