Abstract

To provide a humidifier capable of preventing unintentional water supply from a water tank.SOLUTION: A humidifier comprises a tray 5, a tray holder 6, a water tank 7 having a valve mechanism 72, and a reception member 80 having a pin-like part 80a and receiving the water tank 7. In the tray holder 6, a notch is formed at one part of an upright wall 61 supporting an edge 50 of the tray 5. A fittable part which can be fitted with the notch is integrally provided to the reception member 80 at a position opposite to the notch. While there is a tray, the notch is covered with the edge 50 of the tray 5 and is not fitted with the fittable part, and the water tank 7 is received by the reception member 80 and the valve mechanism 72 is pressed to the pin-like part 80a. While there is no tray, the fittable part is fitted with the notch, and the reception member 80 and the pin-like part 80a go lower than when there is a tray, so that the pin-like part 80a is separated from the valve mechanism 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
