DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0008] 1. Embodiment 1.1 Overview In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the lighting fixture 1 includes a light source unit 2 and a fixture body 10 that supports the light source unit 2. As shown in FIG. 2B and FIG. 4, the light source unit 2 has two LED (Light Emitting Diode) modules 20, and the two LED modules 20 constitute a light source. As shown in FIG. 2A, the light source unit 2 has a power supply unit 24 and a functional unit 25, and the power supply unit 24 and the functional unit 25 constitute a lighting circuit that lights the light source (LED module 20). The light source unit 2 further has a mounting plate 220 and a protruding plate 27, and the protruding plate 27 protrudes from the mounting plate 220 in a direction intersecting the thickness direction of the mounting plate 220. As shown in FIG. 2B, the two LED modules 20 are attached to one surface (the lower surface in FIG. 2B) of the mounting plate 220 in the thickness direction. On the other hand, with regard to the lighting circuit, as shown in FIG. 3, the functional unit 25 is attached to the mounting plate 220, but the power supply unit 24 is attached to the protruding plate 27. That is, at least a part of the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24) is attached to the protruding plate 27, not to the mounting plate 220. Therefore, in the light source unit 2, the effect of heat generated in the light source (LED module 20) on the lighting circuit can be reduced. This advantage is also true for the lighting fixture 1 equipped with the light source unit 2.
[0009] 1.2 Configuration The lighting fixture 1 will be described in detail below. Here, the lighting fixture 1 is a lighting fixture that is installed in a construction material (for example, a ceiling). The lighting fixture 1 may be directly attached to the construction material, or may be installed in a manner that is embedded in the construction material.
[0010] As shown in FIG. 1, the lighting fixture 1 includes a light source unit 2 and a fixture body 10 that supports the light source unit 2.
[0011] 2A, 2B, 3, and 4, the light source unit 2 includes two LED modules 20, a translucent cover 21, an attachment member 22, a unit cover 23, a power supply unit 24, a functional unit 25, an attachment spring 26, and a protruding plate 27. However, in the following description, unless otherwise specified, the up-down direction, the front-rear direction, and the left-right direction in FIGS. 2A and 2B are defined as the up-down direction, the front-rear direction, and the left-right direction of the light source unit 2.
[0012] The mounting member 22 has a square mounting plate 220 and four side plates 221 protruding downward from each of the four sides of the mounting plate 220 (see FIGS. 2A and 2B). The mounting plate 220 and the four side plates 221 are integrally formed by bending a metal plate such as a zinc steel plate. Each of the four side plates 221 is formed in an elongated trapezoidal shape.
[0013] Each of the two LED modules 20 is configured by mounting a large number of LEDs 200 on the mounting surface (lower surface) of a rectangular mounting board 201 (see FIG. 4). Each LED 200 is a white LED for illumination that emits white light. Of course, each LED 200 may be something other than a white LED for illumination. These multiple LEDs 200 are arranged in a lattice on the mounting surface of the mounting board 201, and are electrically connected to each other via wiring conductors (copper foil) formed on the mounting surface. In addition, receptacle connectors 202 electrically connected to each LED 200 via wiring conductors are mounted on the mounting surface of each mounting board 201. The receptacle connectors 202 are removably connected to a plug connector wired to an output line of the power supply unit 24. The two LED modules 20 are attached to the lower surface of the attachment plate 220 by screws so as to be spaced apart in the left-right direction (see FIG. 4).
[0014] As described above, in the light source unit 2, the power supply unit 24 and the functional unit 25 configure a lighting circuit that lights up the light source (the two LED modules 20).
[0015] The power supply unit 24 is configured to supply power to the light source (two LED modules 20). More specifically, the power supply unit 24 has a function of lighting the light source (two LED modules 20) with power obtained from an external power supply (for example, a commercial AC power supply). The power supply unit 24 also has a function of adjusting the light output of the light source (two LED modules 20) in response to a control signal from the functional unit 25. Specifically, the power supply unit 24 has a power supply circuit configured by mounting electronic components on a printed wiring board 241, and a case 240 that accommodates this power supply circuit (see FIG. 3). The power supply circuit includes an input connector 242, a rectifier, a power factor correction circuit, a step-down DC / DC converter, an output connector 243, a control connector, and the like. The input connector 242 is electrically connected to the power line 140 via a first terminal block 14 described later. The power supply circuit converts AC power input from the input connector 242 into DC power, and then outputs the converted DC power from the output connector 243 via an electric wire (output line). The DC power is supplied to each LED 200 of each LED module 20 via a plug connector and a receptacle connector 202 connected to the tip of the output line. The power supply circuit is configured to increase or decrease the DC power output from the output connector 243 in response to a control signal input from the functional unit 25 to the control connector, thereby adjusting (dimming) the light output of the LED module 20.
[0016] The printed wiring board 241 is a long rectangular flat insulating substrate with a wiring conductor (copper foil) formed on the component surface. On the surface of the printed wiring board 241, so-called lead components such as an input connector 242, an output connector 243, a control connector, a smoothing capacitor, and a choke coil are mounted. On the solder surface of the printed wiring board 241, surface mount components among the electronic components constituting the power supply circuit are mounted. However, the input connector 242 and the control connector are mounted on one end of the printed wiring board 241 in the longitudinal direction, and the output connector 243 is mounted on the other end of the printed wiring board 241 in the longitudinal direction. As shown in FIG. 2A and FIG. 3, the case 240 is formed into a long box shape by a metal plate material. The case 240 accommodates the printed wiring board 241 inside so that the input connector 242 and the output connector 243 are exposed.
[0017] The functional unit 25 has a printed circuit and a housing 250 that houses the printed circuit (see FIG. 3). The printed circuit has an input terminal block 251. The input terminal block 251 is electrically connected to a signal line 150 drawn from a second terminal block 15 described later. The printed circuit is configured to convert a control signal input to the input terminal block 251 via the signal line 150, for example, into a control signal corresponding to the power supply unit 24. However, the functional unit may be configured to convert a control signal mediated by radio waves (wireless signal) into an electric signal.
[0018] As shown in Figs. 2A, 2B, 3, and 4, the light-transmitting cover 21 has a square bottom 210, a peripheral wall 211 rising upward from the periphery of the bottom 210, and four claws 212 provided at the upper end of the peripheral wall 211. The bottom 210, the peripheral wall 211, and the four claws 212 are integrally formed from a synthetic resin material having light-transmitting properties, such as acrylic resin or polycarbonate resin. At least the bottom 210 and the peripheral wall 211 are configured to diffuse light by applying an embossing process to their surfaces. Alternatively, at least the bottom 210 and the peripheral wall 211 may be configured to diffuse light by mixing a diffusing agent into the synthetic resin material. Each claw 212 is formed in a hook shape and protrudes upward from the center of the upper end of the peripheral wall 211 in the longitudinal direction (front-rear or left-right direction).
[0019] The light-transmitting cover 21 is attached to the mounting member 22 so that the peripheral wall portion 211 is accommodated within an area surrounded by the four side plates 221 of the mounting member 22 (see FIG. 4). Here, in the mounting plate 220 of the mounting member 22, one through hole is provided at a position corresponding to the four claw portions 212 of the light-transmitting cover 21, that is, at the center of the longitudinal direction of each of the four sides of the mounting plate 220. Each claw portion 212 is inserted into the corresponding through hole from the bottom to the top of the mounting plate 220 and hooked onto the edge of the through hole on the upper surface of the mounting plate 220 (see FIGS. 2A and 2B). As a result, the light-transmitting cover 21 is attached to the mounting plate 220 of the mounting member 22 so that the peripheral wall portion 211 is accommodated inside the side plates 221.
[0020] The mounting spring 26 is a mounting tool used to mount the light source unit 2 to the fixture body 10. The mounting spring 26 is composed of a torsion coil spring having a coil portion 260, two arms, and a terminal portion 263. The longer of the two arms is called the first arm 261, and the shorter arm is called the second arm. The first arm 261 has a hook piece 264, a first arm 265, and a second arm 266. The first arm 265 protrudes from the terminal of the coil portion 260 in the radial direction of the coil portion 260 (leftward in FIG. 3). However, multiple points (for example, two points) in the longitudinal direction of the first arm 265 are bent in the same direction (downward) (see FIG. 2A). The hook piece 264 is formed in a U-shape when viewed from the left and right direction, and is connected at one end in the longitudinal direction to the tip of the first arm piece 265 and at the other end in the longitudinal direction to the tip of the second arm piece 266 (see FIG. 3). The rear end of the second arm piece 266 is connected to the terminal portion 263. However, multiple points (for example, two points) in the longitudinal direction of the second arm piece 266 are bent in the same direction (downward). The terminal portion 263 protrudes from the rear end of the second arm piece 266 almost parallel to the hook piece 264. The second arm protrudes from the end of the coil portion 260 in the opposite direction to the first arm piece 261 (to the right in FIG. 3). In FIG. 3, the second arm is hidden by the unit cover 23.
[0021] 2A and 3, the unit cover 23 has a flat portion 230, a curved portion 231, three first mounting portions 232, and a second mounting portion 235. The flat portion 230, the curved portion 231, the three first mounting portions 232, and the second mounting portion 235 are integrally formed from a metal plate such as a galvanized steel plate.
[0022] The flat portion 230 is formed in a flat plate shape. The curved portion 231 is connected to the rear end (lower end in FIG. 3) of the flat portion 230. The curved portion 231 is curved so as to protrude upward from the rear end of the flat portion 230. However, the front half of the curved portion 231 is curved gently as it moves away from the flat portion 230, and the rear half of the curved portion 231 is curved sharply downward from the apex of the curved portion 231 (see FIG. 2A). The three first attachment portions 232 are provided at the front end (upper end in FIG. 3) of the flat portion 230, the right end (left end in FIG. 3) of the flat portion 230, and the rear end (lower end in FIG. 3) of the curved portion 231. The curved portion 231 has a rectangular ventilation hole 2310.
[0023] The first mounting portion 232 is a portion for mounting the mounting spring 26. The three first mounting portions 232 have almost the same configuration. The first mounting portion 232 has a first support portion 233 and a second support portion 234. The first support portion 233 is formed in a narrow plate shape (see FIG. 3). The first support portion 233 is inserted into the coil portion 260 of the mounting spring 26 and can support the coil portion 260 rotatably around the axis of the coil portion 260 (see FIG. 3). The second support portion 234 is formed in a flat plate shape and protrudes downward from the edge of the flat portion 230. The second support portion 234 has a hole 2340 penetrating in the thickness direction (see FIG. 2A). The hole 2340 is formed to a size that allows the terminal portion 263 of the mounting spring 26 to be inserted therethrough. The second support portion 234 can support the terminal portion 263 inserted into the hole 2340.
[0024] The second mounting portion 235 is configured by cutting and raising a portion of the flat portion 230. The second mounting portion 235 is configured to support the functional unit 25 by being hooked onto the housing 250 of the functional unit 25 (see FIGS. 2A and 3).
[0025] The unit cover 23 is fixed to the mounting plate 220 of the mounting member 22 with the mounting spring 26 attached to the first mounting portion 232 at the right end of the flat portion 230 and the functional unit 25 attached to the second mounting portion 235. The functional unit 25 is not directly attached to the mounting plate 220, but is indirectly attached to the mounting plate 220 by the unit cover 23. Therefore, even if the temperature of the mounting plate 220 rises due to heat generation in the light source (LED module 20), the functional unit 25 is less susceptible to the effect of such an increase in temperature. Therefore, the effect of heat generated in the light source (two LED modules 20) on the lighting circuit (functional unit 25) can be reduced.
[0026] Here, a plurality of screw fastening parts are provided on the upper surface of the mounting plate 220. Each screw fastening part has a truncated cone-shaped protrusion protruding upward from the upper surface of the mounting plate 220 and a female screw provided on the upper surface of the protrusion. The unit cover 23 is fixed to the mounting member 22 by screwing a plurality of fixing screws 227, which are respectively inserted into a plurality of screw insertion holes provided in the unit cover 23, into the female threads of the screw fastening parts while being placed on the plurality of screw fastening parts (see FIG. 3). However, a space equal to the height dimension of each screw fastening part is formed between the mounting plate 220 of the mounting member 22 and the flat part 230 of the unit cover 23. A power line that serves as an electric path between the first terminal block 14 and the power supply unit 24, a signal line that serves as an electric path between the functional unit 25 and the power supply unit 24, and the like are accommodated in this space. In other words, the unit cover 23 has a function of protecting the power line and the signal line from the hanging bolt, etc., by covering these power line and signal line from above. The unit cover 23 covers the mounting member 22 from above, but the heat generated by the mounting member 22 as the temperature of the LED module 20 rises can be released to the outside (above) of the curved portion 231 through the ventilation holes 2310.
[0027] The protruding plate 27 protrudes from the mounting plate 220 in a direction intersecting the thickness direction of the mounting plate 220 (to the right in FIG. 3). In this embodiment, the protruding plate 27 protrudes from the mounting plate 220 in a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the mounting plate 220. More specifically, a part of the protruding plate 27 protrudes from the left edge of the mounting member 22 to the outside of the mounting member 22. The protruding plate 27 is also used as a hook member for attaching the light source unit 2 to the fixture body 10. The protruding plate 27 has a flat plate portion 270 and a locking portion 271. However, the flat plate portion 270 and the locking portion 271 are integrally formed of a metal plate such as a zinc steel plate. The flat plate portion 270 is formed in a generally rectangular shape. The flat plate portion 270 extends so as to cover almost the entirety of one side of the mounting plate 220 in the front-rear direction. The locking portion 271 protrudes downward from one of the four sides (the right side in FIG. 3) of the flat plate portion 270. The length dimension of the locking portion 271 in the longitudinal direction is greater than the length dimension of the flat plate portion 270 along the longitudinal direction of the locking portion 271. In other words, the locking portion 271 is a portion (wide portion) of the protruding plate 27 that is wider than the flat plate portion 270. The locking portion 271 has protrusions 272 at both longitudinal ends thereof that protrude outward from both longitudinal ends of the flat plate portion 270.
[0028] Approximately half of the flat plate portion 270 in the short-side direction (left-right direction in FIG. 3) of the protruding plate 27 is attached to the upper surface of the mounting plate 220 of the mounting member 22. The flat plate portion 270 is fixed to the mounting plate 220 so as to be sandwiched between the mounting plate 220 and the flat portion 230 of the unit cover 23 (see FIGS. 2A and 3).
[0029] As shown in FIG. 3, the power supply unit 24 is attached to the remaining half of the flat plate portion 270 in the short-side direction. The power supply unit 24 is screwed to the flat plate portion 270 at the left end of the upper surface of the flat plate portion 270 of the protruding plate 27 so that the longitudinal direction of the case 240 coincides with the front-rear direction. Also, as shown in FIG. 3, the power supply unit 24 does not protrude from the protruding plate 27 to the opposite side of the mounting plate 220 (the right side in FIG. 3) from the mounting plate 220 in a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the mounting plate 220. This reduces the possibility that the power supply unit 24 will get in the way. In particular, it reduces the possibility that the power supply unit 24 will get in the way when the light source unit 2 is attached to the fixture body 10 using the protruding plate 27.
[0030] In this way, the power supply unit 24, which is a part of the lighting circuit, is attached to the protruding plate 27, not to the mounting plate 220. Therefore, even if the temperature of the mounting plate 220 rises due to heat generation in the two LED modules 20, the power supply unit 24 is less susceptible to such temperature rise. Therefore, the impact of heat generated in the light source (two LED modules 20) on the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24) can be reduced.
[0031] In addition, the mounting plate 220 and the protruding plate 27 are separate bodies, and the protruding plate 27 is fixed to the mounting plate 220. Therefore, compared to when the mounting plate 220 and the protruding plate 27 are integrated, the transfer of heat from the mounting plate 220 to the protruding plate 27 can be suppressed, and the effect of the heat generated in the light source (the two LED modules 20) on the lighting circuit (the power supply unit 24) can be reduced.
[0032] In addition, the two LED modules 20 are located on the lower surface side of the mounting plate 220, and the power supply unit 24 is located on the upper surface side of the flat plate portion 270 of the protruding plate 27. In other words, the light source (two LED modules 20) and at least a part of the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24) are located on opposite sides of the mounting plate 220. Therefore, compared to when the light source (LED module 20) and the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24 and functional unit 25) are located on the same side of the mounting plate 220, the impact of heat generated by the light source (LED module 20) on the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24) can be reduced.
[0033] Moreover, the two LED modules 20 are located inside the mounting plate 220 in a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the mounting plate 220 (see FIG. 4). That is, the two LED modules 20 do not face the power supply unit 24 in the thickness direction of the mounting plate 220. This can further suppress the transfer of heat generated in the two LED modules 20 to the power supply unit 24. That is, the influence of the heat generated in the light source (the two LED modules 20) on the lighting circuit (the power supply unit 24) can be further reduced.
[0034] 5A and 5B, the fixture body 10 is box-shaped and has a recess 18 on one surface (the bottom surface) of the fixture body 10. The recess 18 houses the light source unit 2 such that the light source (the two LED modules 20) is exposed (see FIG. 1).
[0035] As shown in Figures 5A and 5B, the fixture body 10 has a main body part 11 that is attached to a construction material (ceiling), and a main body cover 12 that is detachably connected to the main body part 11 and covers the main body part 11. However, in the following description, unless otherwise specified, the up-down direction, front-back direction, and left-right direction in Figures 5A and 5B are defined as the up-down direction, front-back direction, and left-right direction of the fixture body 10.
[0036] The main body 11 is made of a metal material such as a zinc steel plate and is formed in a shallow box shape with an open bottom. The main body 11 has a square outer shape when viewed from the top and bottom. A circular power supply hole 110 is provided in the center of the bottom of the main body 11. As shown in FIG. 6, a first terminal block 14 and a second terminal block 15 are disposed near the power supply hole 110 on the bottom of the main body 11. The first terminal block 14 is electrically connected to a power cable 16 inserted into the power supply hole 110. The second terminal block 15 is electrically connected to a signal cable inserted into the power supply hole 110. A plug connector 17 is attached to the tip of a power supply line 140 drawn from the first terminal block 14. A signal line 150 is drawn from the second terminal block 15.
[0037] A plurality of bolt insertion holes 111 are also provided on the bottom surface of the main body 11 (see FIG. 5A). These bolt insertion holes 111 are formed in an elliptical shape with the direction of the long axis coinciding with the front-rear direction of the main body 11. The main body 11 is attached to a ceiling by fastening nuts to hanging bolts that are inserted into at least two of the bolt insertion holes 111.
[0038] Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 6, four hook springs 13 are provided on the bottom surface of the main body 11. Each hook spring 13 is composed of a torsion coil spring having a coil portion 130 and two arms. The longer of the two arms is called the first arm 131, and the shorter arm is called the second arm 132. The tip of the first arm 131 is bent into a hook shape (see Fig. 5B).
[0039] Each hook spring 13 is attached to the main body 11 by a metal fitting 133 (see FIG. 5B). The metal fitting 133 is configured to support the coil portion 130 of the hook spring 13 so as to be rotatable around the axis of the coil portion 130 and movable in the axial direction of the coil portion 130.
[0040] Two of the four hook springs 13 are attached side by side in the left-right direction in front of the power supply hole 110 on the bottom surface of the main body 11. The remaining two of the four hook springs 13 are attached side by side in the left-right direction behind the power supply hole 110 on the bottom surface of the main body 11 (see FIG. 6). However, the two hook springs 13 aligned side by side in the left-right direction are arranged so that their second arm portions 132 are adjacent to each other.
[0041] The body cover 12 is made of a metal material such as a zinc steel plate and is formed in a frame shape having an opening 120 that is square when viewed from the top and bottom. The opening 120 is provided to expose the light source (two LED modules 20) of the light source unit 2 to the outside. The part (first part 121) outside the opening 120 in the body cover 12 is formed in a shape that forms a pyramidal surface of a regular square pyramid with the opening 120 as the bottom surface (upper base). Furthermore, the part (second part 122) outside the first part 121 in the body cover 12 is formed in a shape that forms a pyramidal surface of a regular square pyramid with the periphery of the first part 121 as the four sides of the bottom surface (upper base). In the body cover 12, the lower surfaces of the first part 121 and the second part 122 are painted with white paint.
[0042] 5B, 6, 7, and 10, the main body cover 12 has protruding walls (first to fourth protruding walls 123 to 126) protruding upward (toward the main body 11) from each of the four edges of the opening 120. That is, the first protruding wall 123 protrudes from the front edge of the opening 120, the third protruding wall 125 protrudes from the rear edge of the opening 120, the second protruding wall 124 protrudes from the right edge of the opening 120, and the fourth protruding wall 126 protrudes from the left edge of the opening 120. That is, the first protruding wall 123 and the third protruding wall 125 face each other in the front-rear direction with the opening 120 in between, and the second protruding wall 124 and the fourth protruding wall 126 face each other in the left-right direction with the opening 120 in between. The first to fourth projecting walls 123-126 are each shaped like a rectangular plate and surround the opening 120. In the appliance body 10, a recess 18 is formed by the bottom surface of the main body portion 11, the opening 120 of the body cover 12, and the first to fourth projecting walls 123-126.
[0043] Two hook portions (spring hook portions) 128 are provided on each of the first projecting wall 123 and the third projecting wall 125 (see Fig. 5B and Fig. 10). On the first projecting wall 123, the two hook portions 128 are located on both sides in the longitudinal direction (left-right direction) of the first projecting wall 123. On the third projecting wall 125, the two hook portions 128 are located on both sides in the longitudinal direction (left-right direction) of the third projecting wall 125. The main body cover 12 is coupled to the main body part 11 by the spring force of each hook spring 13 as first arm portions 131 of the four hook springs 13 of the main body part 11 are hooked to the hook portions 128 corresponding to each hook spring 13 (see Fig. 5B and Fig. 6).
[0044] Also, a hook portion (support portion) 127 is provided at the center in the longitudinal direction (front-rear direction) of the second protruding wall 124 (see FIG. 7). As shown in FIG. 7, the hook portion 127 has an inverted U-shaped through hole (second mounting hole) 1271 that penetrates the second protruding wall 124 in the thickness direction (left-right direction). The second mounting hole 1271 is formed so that the mounting spring 26 of the light source unit 2 can pass through it.
[0045] The vertical dimension of the fourth projecting wall 126 is smaller than the vertical dimensions of the first to third projecting walls 123 to 125 (see Figs. 7 and 10). As a result, a gap 19 is formed between the bottom surface of the main body 11 and the fourth projecting wall 126 (see Fig. 7). The dimension of the gap 19 in the front-rear direction is larger than the locking portion 271 of the projecting plate 27. Furthermore, the dimension of the gap 19 in the vertical direction is larger than the power supply unit 24. In other words, the gap 19 is large enough to allow the locking portion 271 and the flat plate portion 270 of the projecting plate 27 to pass through together with the power supply unit 24.
[0046] The fourth protruding wall 126 is formed so that the height dimension of the portion (hook portion 129) excluding the ends 1260 on both sides in the longitudinal direction is smaller than the height dimension of the ends 1260 on both sides. A downwardly recessed recess 1290 is provided at each of the longitudinal ends of the hook portion 129 (see FIG. 7). The space between the ends 1260 on both sides of the fourth protruding wall 126 becomes the first mounting hole 1261. The first mounting hole 1261 is formed so that at least a part of the protruding plate 27 of the light source unit 2 passes through. However, the first mounting hole 1261 has a dimension in the front-rear direction larger than that of the flat plate portion 270 of the protruding plate 27, but smaller than that of the locking portion 271. In other words, the flat plate portion 270 is large enough to pass through the first mounting hole 1261, but the locking portion 271 is large enough not to pass through the first mounting hole 1261. Therefore, when the flat plate portion 270 is disposed in the first mounting hole 1261 , the locking portion 271 prevents the protruding plate 27 from coming out of the first mounting hole 1261 .
[0047] In the device body 10, the second protruding wall 124 and the fourth protruding wall 126 form a pair of side walls facing each other with the recess 18 in between. The second protruding wall 124 (one of the pair of side walls) has a second mounting hole 1271 through which the mounting spring 26 passes, and the fourth protruding wall 126 (the other of the pair of side walls) has a first mounting hole 1261 through which the protruding plate 27 passes.
[0048] 1.3 Construction work Next, an example of the work of installing the lighting fixture 1 on a ceiling will be described. First, a worker performing the installation work inserts the power cable 16 and the signal cable into the power supply hole 110 of the main body 11, and then attaches the main body 11 to the ceiling by tightening a nut on the hanging bolt inserted into the bolt insertion hole 111. The worker also connects the power cable 16 drawn from the power supply hole 110 to the first terminal block 14, and connects the signal cable drawn from the power supply hole 110 to the second terminal 15.
[0049] Next, the worker attaches the body cover 12 to the body part 11. The worker pulls down the first arm 131 of one of the four hook springs 13 of the body part 11, and hooks the tip of the first arm 131 to a corresponding one of the four hook portions 128 of the body cover 12. The worker hooks the tips of the first arms 131 of the remaining three hook springs 13 to the corresponding hook portions 128 one by one in order. Then, the worker lifts the body cover 12 upward so as to bring it closer to the body part 11. The first arm 131 of each hook spring 13 displaces (rotates) upward while remaining hooked to each hook portion 128. Then, when the lower edge of the main body 11 hits the upper surface of the first part 121 of the main body cover 12, the connected state between the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 is maintained by the spring force of the four hook springs 13 hooked onto the four hook portions 128 (see FIG. 5B).
[0050] The fixture body 10 is attached to the ceiling in the above-described manner. Next, a procedure for attaching the light source unit 2 to the fixture body 10 will be described.
[0051] As shown in FIG. 9, the worker inserts the locking portion 271 of the protruding plate 27 into the gap 19 between the fourth protruding wall 126 and the bottom surface of the main body 11 from the opening 120, and then hooks the protrusions 272 on both sides of the locking portion 271 to the ends 1260 on both sides of the fourth protruding wall 126. This causes the flat plate portion 270 of the protruding plate 27 to pass through the first mounting hole 1261. As described above, the first mounting hole 1261 has a dimension in the front-rear direction larger than that of the flat plate portion 270 of the protruding plate 27, but smaller than that of the locking portion 271. Therefore, the protruding plate 27 is difficult to come out of the first mounting hole 1261. Here, the power supply unit 24 is attached to the protruding plate 27. However, the power supply unit 24 does not protrude from the protruding plate 27 to the opposite side of the mounting plate 220 in the plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the mounting plate 220. Therefore, the power supply unit 24 is unlikely to get in the way when the protruding plate 27 is passed through the first mounting hole 1261. Note that in Fig. 9, some of the components of the fixture body 10 are omitted simply for the sake of simplicity of the drawing.
[0052] As a result, as shown in Fig. 8, the light source unit 2 can be temporarily hung on the fixture body 10. With the light source unit 2 temporarily hung on the fixture body 10, the worker performs wiring work between the power line 140 of the first terminal block 14 and the signal line 150 of the second terminal block 15 and the power supply unit 24. After completing the wiring work, the worker inserts the first arm 261 of the mounting spring 26 into the through hole (second mounting hole) 1271 of the hook portion 127 provided on the second projecting wall 124, and then lifts up the light source unit 2 to accommodate it in the opening 120 of the main body cover 12. When the light source unit 2 is accommodated in the opening 120, the first arm 261 of the mounting spring 26 is hooked on the hook portion 127 of the second projecting wall 124. Furthermore, the locking portion 271 of the protruding plate 27 moves in a direction away from the opening 120, and the protruding plate 27 is hooked to the hook portion 129 provided on the fourth projecting wall 126 (see FIG. 10). That is, the mounting spring 26 is supported by the hook portion 127, and the protruding plate 27 is supported by the hook portion 129. As a result, the light source unit 2 is supported on the fixture body 10 (body cover 12) by one mounting spring 26 and the protruding plate 27.
[0053] In this way, the fixture body 10 supports the light source unit 2 in a state where the protruding plate 27 and the mounting spring 26 of the light source unit 2 are inserted into the first mounting hole 1261 and the second mounting hole 1271, respectively. Therefore, the light source unit 2 is stably supported by the fixture body 10. Also, as shown in FIG. 11, the protruding plate 27 is located not in the recess 18 but in a space surrounded by the main body part 11 of the fixture body 10 and the first part 121 and the second part 122 of the main body cover 12 (i.e., in the fixture body 10). As a result, the power supply unit 24 arranged on the protruding plate 27 is accommodated in the fixture body 10 rather than in the recess 18. This makes it possible to protect the power supply unit 24 from air heated by the heat generated by the light source (LED module 20), and further reduce the influence of the heat generated by the light source (LED module 20) on the lighting circuit.
[0054] Through the above steps, the installation work of the lighting fixture 1 is completed.
[0055] Here, the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 are lighter than the fixture body 10 in which the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 are combined. Therefore, as described above, if the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 can be installed separately, the installation procedure will increase, but the workload of the worker can be reduced. Furthermore, the light source unit 2 is attached to the fixture body 10 attached to the ceiling. As a result, the lighting fixture 1 can improve the workability of the installation work.
[0056] Furthermore, since the light source unit 2 is attached to the body cover 12, it is possible to suppress variation in the positional relationship between the body cover 12 and the light source unit 2, compared to the case where the light source unit 2 is attached to the body 11. As a result, it is possible to suppress deterioration in the appearance quality of the lighting device 1 caused by variation in the positional relationship between the body cover 12 and the light source unit 2.
[0057] 2. Variations The embodiment described above is merely one of various embodiments of the present invention. In addition, the above embodiment can be modified in various ways depending on the design, etc., as long as the object of the present invention can be achieved. Modifications of the above embodiment are listed below.
[0058] Furthermore, the luminaire 1 may be a luminaire that is directly attached to a construction material other than a ceiling (such as a wall), or a recessed luminaire that is recessed into a construction material (such as a ceiling or a wall).
[0059] Moreover, the light source unit 2 does not necessarily have to include the light-transmitting cover 21 and the unit cover 23.
[0060] Furthermore, the number of LED modules 20 is not particularly limited, and the light source does not have to be a light source that uses an LED.
[0061] The lighting circuit may be a circuit having at least a function of turning on the light source, and the function of adjusting the brightness of the light source is an optional function. The lighting circuit may also have an optional function such as a function of turning on or off the light source upon a specific event (for example, upon detection of a human body or when the surroundings become dark).
[0062] In the above embodiment, the power supply unit 24 is attached to the protruding plate 27, but the functional unit 25 may be attached to the protruding plate 27. In short, the part of the lighting circuit that needs to be protected from heat may be attached to the protruding plate 27. In addition to the power supply unit 24 and the functional unit 25, the parts that need to be protected from heat may include a sensor, a terminal block, a communication unit, a switch, a battery, and the like. Examples of the sensor include a human sensor and a brightness sensor. The sensor may be used to detect a specific event as described above. The terminal block may be used, for example, for connecting between devices or units that constitute the lighting circuit, or for connecting to an external device. Examples of the communication unit include a wireless communication unit, an infrared communication unit, and an optical communication unit. The communication unit may be used for communication between the lighting circuit and an external device. This enables remote control of the lighting circuit, etc. Examples of the switch include an electromagnetic relay and a semiconductor switching element. The switch may be used, for example, to turn on, turn off, and dim the LED module 20. The battery may be either a primary battery or a secondary battery. The battery can be used, for example, to enable the lighting circuit to operate even in an emergency such as a power outage.
[0063] Alternatively, both the power supply unit 24 and the functional unit 25 may be attached to the protruding plate 27. In other words, the entire lighting circuit may be attached to the protruding plate 27, rather than just a part of the lighting circuit.
[0064] In the above embodiment, the power supply unit 24 is disposed on the upper surface of the flat plate portion 270 of the protruding plate 27, whereby the LED module 20 and the power supply unit 24 are located on opposite sides of the mounting plate 220. However, the power supply unit 24 may be disposed on the lower surface side of the flat plate portion 270. In other words, the light source (LED module 20) and at least a part of the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24) may be located on the same side of the mounting plate 220.
[0065] Furthermore, the mounting member 22 does not necessarily have to include four side plates 221. The mounting plate 220 does not necessarily have to be square, and may be of other shapes such as a rectangle, a circle, or a polygon.
[0066] Furthermore, the light source unit 2 may have a mounting fixture having a shape different from that of the mounting spring 26. The mounting fixture may be, for example, a protrusion that protrudes from the mounting plate 220 in the direction opposite to the protruding plate 27.
[0067] Moreover, the protruding plate 27 does not necessarily have to include the locking portion 271. The flat plate portion 270 is not particularly limited in shape as long as it has a size and shape capable of supporting at least a part of the lighting circuit. Moreover, the protruding plate 27 may be formed integrally with the mounting plate 220.
[0068] In addition, the shapes of the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 in the instrument body 10 are not limited to those in the above embodiment. For example, the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 in the above embodiment have a square outer shape when viewed from the top and bottom, but may be circular or polygonal such as rectangular. In particular, the shape of the main body cover 12 is not limited to a shape combining two cone surfaces as described above. For example, the main body cover 12 may be flat. In addition, the first protruding wall 123 and the third protruding wall 125 are not essential in the main body cover 12. In addition, the lower surfaces of the first portion 121 and the second portion 122 in the main body cover 12 do not have to be painted with white paint.
[0069] Furthermore, the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 do not necessarily have to be connected using the hook spring 13. For example, a screw may be used instead of the hook spring 13. Alternatively, the main body 11 and the main body cover 12 may be formed integrally.
[0070] 3. Aspects As is clear from the above-described embodiment and modified examples, the light source unit (2) of the first aspect includes a light source (20), a lighting circuit (24, 25) that lights the light source (20), a mounting plate (220), and a protruding plate (27). The light source (20) is attached to one surface of the mounting plate (220) in the thickness direction. The protruding plate (27) protrudes from the mounting plate (220) in a direction intersecting the thickness direction of the mounting plate (220). At least a part of the lighting circuit (24, 25) is attached to the protruding plate (27). According to the first aspect, the effect of heat generated by the light source (20) on the lighting circuit (24, 25) can be reduced.
[0071] The light source unit (2) of the second aspect can be realized by combining with the first aspect. In the second aspect, the light source (20) and at least a part of the lighting circuit (24, 25) are located on opposite sides of the mounting plate (220). According to the second aspect, the influence of heat generated by the light source (20) on the lighting circuits (24, 25) can be reduced compared to when the light source (20) and the lighting circuits (24, 25) are located on the same side of the mounting plate (220).
[0072] The light source unit (2) of the third aspect can be realized by combining with the first or second aspect. In the third aspect, the mounting plate (220) and the protruding plate (27) are separate, and the protruding plate (27) is fixed to the mounting plate (220). According to the third aspect, compared to the case where the mounting plate (220) and the protruding plate (27) are integrated, the transfer of heat from the mounting plate (220) to the protruding plate (27) can be suppressed, and the influence of the heat generated in the light source (20) on the lighting circuit (24, 25) can be reduced. In the third aspect, it is further preferable that the protruding plate (27) is fixed to the surface of the mounting plate (220) opposite to the one surface in the thickness direction. In this case, the transfer of heat from the mounting plate (220) to the protruding plate (27) can be further suppressed.
[0073] The light source unit (2) of the fourth aspect can be realized by combining with any one of the first to third aspects. In the fourth aspect, the at least part of the lighting circuit (24, 25) is a power supply unit (24) that supplies power to the light source (20). According to the fourth aspect, the effect of heat generated by the light source (20) on the lighting circuit (24, 25) can be further reduced.
[0074] The light source unit (2) of the fifth aspect can be realized by combining with any one of the first to fourth aspects. In the fifth aspect, the at least part of the lighting circuit (24, 25) does not protrude from the protruding plate (27) to the opposite side of the mounting plate (220) in a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the mounting plate (220). According to the fifth aspect, it is possible to reduce the possibility that the at least part of the lighting circuit will get in the way.
[0075] The light source unit (2) of the sixth aspect can be realized by combining with any one of the first to fifth aspects. In the sixth aspect, the light source (20) is located inside the mounting plate (220) in a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the mounting plate (220). According to the sixth aspect, it is possible to further prevent the heat generated in the light source (20) from being transmitted to at least a part of the lighting circuit. Therefore, it is possible to further reduce the influence of the heat generated in the light source (20) on the lighting circuits (24, 25).
[0076] The lighting fixture (1) of the seventh aspect includes the light source unit (2) of any one of the first to sixth aspects and a fixture body (10) supporting the light source unit (2). According to the seventh aspect, the influence of heat generated in the light source (20) on the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24, functional unit 25) can be reduced.
[0077] The lighting fixture (1) of the eighth aspect can be realized by combining it with the seventh aspect. In the eighth aspect, the light source unit (2) further includes a mounting fixture (26) that protrudes from the mounting plate (220) in a direction opposite to the protruding plate (27). The fixture body (10) has a recess (18) that houses the light source unit (2) so that the light source (20) is exposed, and a pair of side walls (124, 126) that face each other across the recess (18). One of the pair of side walls (124, 126) has a first mounting hole (1261) through which at least a part of the protruding plate (27) passes, and the other has a second mounting hole (1271) through which the mounting fixture (26) passes. The fixture body (10) supports the light source unit (2) in a state in which the protruding plate (27) and the mounting fixture (26) of the light source unit (2) are inserted into the first mounting hole (1261) and the second mounting hole (1271), respectively. According to the eighth aspect, the light source unit (2) is stably supported by the fixture body (10).
[0078] The lighting device (1) of the ninth aspect can be realized by combining it with the eighth aspect. In the ninth aspect, the protruding plate (27) has a flat plate portion (270) and a locking portion (271). The flat plate portion (270) is large enough to mount at least a part of the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24, functional unit 25) and pass through the first mounting hole (1261). The locking portion (271) is provided at an end of the flat plate portion (270) opposite to the mounting plate (220) and is large enough not to pass through the first mounting hole (1261). According to the ninth aspect, the locking portion (271) prevents the protruding plate (27) from coming off the first mounting hole (1261). Therefore, the protruding plate (27) can temporarily hang the light source unit (2) on the device body (10).
[0079] The lighting fixture (1) of the tenth aspect can be realized by combining it with the eighth or ninth aspect. In the tenth aspect, the fixture body (10) is box-shaped and has the recess (18) on one surface. At least a part of the lighting circuit (power supply unit 24, functional unit 25) is housed in the fixture body (10) with the protruding plate (27) inserted into the first mounting hole (1261). According to the tenth aspect, the lighting circuit (24, 25) can be protected from air heated by heat generated by the light source (20), and the effect of the heat generated by the light source (20) on the lighting circuit (24, 25) can be further reduced.
