Abstract

To provide a mechanism for reducing the discomfort felt by a user when viewing a video in which a plurality of videos are superimposed.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises acquisition means for acquiring a first spatial image, which is a panoramic video, and a second spatial image for superimposing and displaying the first spatial image, and generation means for generating video content allowing viewing of the first spatial image superimposed on the second spatial image from the viewpoint of the second spatial image acquired by the acquisition means. The generation means generates video content including occlusion capable of covering at least a partial region of a boundary portion between the first and second spatial image sides so as to shield the user's line of sight among first spatial images viewable from the viewpoint of the second spatial image side by superimposing the second spatial image on the first spatial image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

Claims

1. An acquisition means for acquiring a first spatial video which is a panoramic video and a second spatial video for superimposing and displaying the first spatial video; A generation means for generating video content that can be viewed of the first spatial video superimposed on the second spatial video from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side acquired by the acquisition means, The generation means superimposes on the first spatial video, and for at least a part of the boundary portion between the first spatial video and the second spatial video side among the first spatial videos that can be viewed from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side, an information processing apparatus characterized by generating video content including occlusion that can cover so as to block the user's line of sight.

2. The generation means is provided so that the second spatial video is displayed in an area of the first spatial video superimposed on the second spatial video where the occlusion is not superimposed, and generates video content. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, characterized by the above.

3. The generation means is provided so that a predetermined plane of the first spatial video and a predetermined plane of the second spatial video can be made to coincide with each other and the first spatial video and the second spatial video can be superimposed in correspondence, and the boundary portion between the first spatial video and the second spatial video superimposed so as to be the same plane is the first spatial video so as not to block the user's line of sight from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, characterized by generating video content including occlusion that can be superimposed.

4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the second video is any one of a VR video, an AR video, and an MR video.

5. The generation means generates the video content so that the user's viewpoint is not provided in front of the position where the visible surface of the superimposed first spatial video faces from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, characterized by the above.

6. The generation means generates the video content including occlusion that can block the user's viewpoint to the back surface of the visible surface of the first spatial video. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, characterized by the above.

7. The generation means sets the distance connecting the center of the plane of the first spatial video in the video content and the default viewpoint on the second spatial video side as the viewing distance, and sets the angle horizontally opened around the line connecting the center of the first spatial video in the video content and the user's viewpoint as the viewing angle. With a viewing angle of 130° or less, or a viewing angle equal to or smaller than the angle of view that can be displayed on the display device, the overall image of the obstruction or the overall image of the first spatial video that is not blocked by the obstruction from the user's line of sight is accommodated. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the default viewpoint on the second spatial video side is determined at a position where the viewing distance is taken to generate the video content.

8. An acquisition step in which an acquisition means in the information processing apparatus acquires a first spatial video that is a panoramic video and a second spatial video for superimposing and displaying the first spatial video; A generation step in which a means in the information processing apparatus generates video content that can view the first spatial video superimposed on the second spatial video from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side acquired in the acquisition step. The generation step is characterized in that, by superimposing on the first spatial video, video content including an obstruction that can cover at least a part of a boundary portion between the first spatial video and the second spatial video side among the first spatial videos that can be viewed from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side is generated.

9. A program that can be read and executed by an information processing apparatus, The information processing apparatus is An acquisition means for acquiring a first spatial video that is a panoramic video and a second spatial video for superimposing and displaying the first spatial video; Functioning as a generation means for generating video content that can view the first spatial video superimposed on the second spatial video from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side acquired by the acquisition means, and the generation means superimposes on the first spatial video. Thus, video content including an obstruction that can cover at least a part of a boundary portion between the first spatial video and the second spatial video side among the first spatial videos that can be viewed from the viewpoint on the second spatial video side is generated.
