The box 3 includes: a cylindrical peripheral wall part 31 having an opened upper part; a support part 32 provided in an inner surface of the peripheral wall part 31; and a shelf plate 33 supported by the support part 32. A flange 33a is formed in an outer periphery of the shelf plate 33. A table with a box installed on a top plate, the box being capable of accommodating plants or the like, the box comprising: a cylindrical peripheral wall portion that is open upward; a support portion provided on the inner surface of the peripheral wall portion; and a shelf plate supported by the support portion, a flange being formed on the outer periphery of the shelf plate, and the shelf plate being configured to be selectable between a shallow accommodation form in which the flange of the shelf plate is supported by the support portion and a deep accommodation form in which the surface of the shelf plate is supported by the support portion. 2. The table with a box according to claim 1, characterized in that an opening smaller than the planar shape of the box is formed in the top plate, and the box is installed so as to cover the opening.
