Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a flush toilet, and more particularly to a flush toilet that is washed with washing water and discharges dirt.

Background Art

[0002] Conventionally, as a flush toilet that is washed with washing water and discharges dirt, for example, as described in Patent Documents 1 to 3, a skirt portion formed outside the respective side surfaces of the bowl portion and the drain trap portion of a ceramic toilet body is formed over the entire circumference of the toilet body. There is known a so-called "full skirt type" or "overall skirt type" flush toilet. In such a conventional "full skirt type" or "overall skirt type" flush toilet, a functional portion including a function of controlling the discharge and stop of washing water to the bowl portion of the toilet body is provided, and this functional portion is stored in a storage area on the rear side of the bowl portion of the toilet body.

[0003] Next, in the conventional flush toilet described in Patent Document 1 above, a water supply hose having one end connected to a functional portion in the rear region of the toilet body is inserted downward from an opening in the rear wall portion of the toilet body, and the other end of the water supply hose is connected to a stopcock provided on the floor surface. Further, in the conventional flush toilet described in Patent Document 2 above, a through hole penetrating in the vertical direction is provided in a support wall portion that vertically partitions a region on the rear side of the bowl portion of the toilet body. Components stored in the upper region and the lower region vertically partitioned by the support wall portion are connected via the through hole. Furthermore, in the conventional flushing toilet described in Patent Document 3 mentioned above, it is equipped with a sheath tube that functions as a water supply hose for supplying washing water or a wiring hose through which a wiring for power supply is inserted. One end of this sheath tube is connected to a functional part within the area on the rear side of the toilet body, is inserted into the space within the double-wall part provided on the side wall of the toilet body, and then extends from the lower space of the toilet body where the outlet of the drain trap part is arranged to the outside of the toilet body. Regarding the other end of the sheath tube, when the sheath tube functions as a water supply hose, it is connected to an external stop valve through the lower space of the toilet body, and when the sheath tube functions as a wiring hose, it is connected to an external power source or the like through the lower space within the toilet body.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] On the other hand, in recent years, with the diversification of the design of flushing toilets and the improvement of the design quality such as the appearance of flushing toilets, there is an issue that demands how to effectively utilize the area on the rear side of the bowl part of the toilet body as a storage area for storing functional parts while reducing (slimming down) the overall external dimensions of the toilet body. In addition, for example, in a conventional flush toilet, a flexible and elongated member is adopted as a water supply hose or a wiring hose connected to a functional part. However, such a flexible and elongated member is made of a relatively hard and elastic material from the viewpoint of durability and the like. Therefore, when installing the flexible and elongated member in a narrow storage area of the functional part of the toilet body, if the flexible and elongated member is bent and subjected to sudden bending deformation or the like, kinks are likely to occur, and there is a problem that it is difficult to handle the flexible and elongated member in the storage area of the functional part.

[0006] Furthermore, in a conventional flush toilet, the functional part is disposed relatively upward in the storage area on the rear side of the toilet body. However, in order to prevent unexpected contaminants or the like from entering the functional part and from the viewpoint of the design such as the aesthetics of the flush toilet, there is a problem of how to store the functional part as much as possible within the storage area of the toilet body so that the functional part is difficult to see from the outside of the toilet body. Regarding the water supply hose or the wiring hose connected to the functional part, while the connection part with the functional part is disposed relatively upward in the storage area of the toilet body, the upstream side of the water supply hose or the power supply side of the wiring hose is connected to a water supply or power supply source (such as a stop valve or a power supply) provided outside below the toilet body. From the viewpoint of not degrading the design such as the aesthetics of the flush toilet, there is a problem of how to conceal the path in the middle of the water supply hose and the wiring hose in the limited storage area of the toilet body. Furthermore, regarding the supply source side of the water supply hose and the wiring hose, there is a problem of how to extend it from the insertion hole or the like below the toilet body to the external supply source, and there is also a problem of how to make the size of the insertion hole below the toilet body small so that the internal functional part cannot be seen. In addition, from the viewpoint of the fire resistance of the functional part and the elongated member, for example, when considering a fire outbreak from the back wall side of the toilet body or the underfloor side below the toilet body, there is a problem of how to isolate the storage area for storing the functional part from the lower area of this storage area (especially the area where the outlet of the drain trap part is disposed and which is easily combustible from the side of the drain pipe extending from the wall side or the underfloor side).

[0007] Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems and requirements of the prior art, and can improve the maneuverability and fire resistance of a flexible elongated member that connects a supply source enabling water supply or power supply and a functional unit, and also aims to provide a water-washing toilet bowl that can improve the design of the entire water-washing toilet bowl.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0008] In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a flush toilet that is washed with washing water to discharge dirt, comprising: a bowl part for receiving dirt; a drainage trap part including an inlet part connected to the lower part of the bowl part and an outlet part for discharging the dirt in the bowl part; a skirt part formed outside the bowl part and the drainage trap part; a ceramic toilet body having these; a functional part provided on the rear side of the bowl part of the toilet body and having at least a function of controlling the discharge and stop of the washing water to the bowl part; a supply source provided below the functional part and outside the toilet body for enabling water supply or power supply to at least the functional part; and a flexible elongated member connecting the supply source and the functional part. The ceramic toilet body further includes a rear functional storage part capable of storing at least a part of the functional part. The rear functional storage part divides a region on the rear side of the bowl part of the toilet body into upper and lower regions and has a support wall part for supporting the functional part, an upper storage region formed in a region above the support wall part and storing at least a part of the functional part, a lower region formed below the support wall part so as to be isolated from the upper storage region and having the outlet part of the drainage trap part disposed therein, and a lower communication region formed adjacent to and isolated from the lower region. The lower communication region enables communication between the upper storage region and the outside of the toilet body without communicating with the inside of the lower region. The flexible elongated member includes an upper connection end connected to the functional part and a lower connection end connected to the supply source, and extends from the upper connection end to the lower connection end, is inserted into the lower communication region from the upper storage region without passing through the lower region, and then extends from the lower communication region to the outside of the toilet body without passing through the lower region, and the lower connection end is connected to the supply source. In the present invention configured as described above, the flexible elongated member extends from the upper connection end connected to the functional part in the upper storage region of the rear functional storage part to the lower connection end. For this flexible elongated member, it can be inserted into the lower communication region without passing through the lower region from the upper storage region of the rear functional storage part and without being bent or sharply bent. Subsequently, with respect to the elongated member inserted into the lower communication region, it can be smoothly extended from the lower communication region to the outside of the toilet body without passing through the lower region of the rear functional storage portion, and the lower connection end portion of the elongated member can be connected to the supply source. Thus, for the flexible elongated member connecting the functional portion and the supply source, most of the intermediate portion of its path can be concealed within the upper storage region or the lower communication region of the rear functional storage portion, so that the design property such as the appearance of the water closet can be improved. In addition, by inserting the flexible elongated member through the lower communication region without passing through the upper region from the upper storage region, while suppressing the deformation load of the intermediate path of the elongated member between the functional portion and the supply source, the maneuverability of the elongated member within the limited space of the rear functional storage portion of the toilet body can be improved. Therefore, it is also possible to suppress the occurrence of permanent deformation or damage due to, for example, kinks in the flexible elongated member. Furthermore, due to the improvement in the maneuverability of the flexible elongated member, the rear functional storage portion of the toilet body can also be miniaturized. Therefore, for the entire water closet, it is possible to improve the design property while miniaturizing. Also, from the perspective of fire resistance, for example, in the event of a fire occurring, for example, behind the wall on the rear side of the toilet body or in the peripheral area under the floor below the toilet body, even if the fire reaches the combustible space within the lower region of the rear functional storage portion of the toilet body or the downstream side of the outlet of the drain trap portion from the wall side or the floor side, each of the upper storage region and the lower communication region is isolated from the lower region. Thereby, the risk of the fire in the lower region reaching the functional portion in the upper storage region or the elongated member in the lower communication region can be suppressed, and the fire resistance of the functional portion and the elongated member can be ensured.

[0009] In the present invention, preferably, the skirt portion includes a rear wall portion and side wall portions that form its rear surface and side surfaces, respectively. At least a part of the side wall portion or the rear wall portion of the skirt portion forms a double wall portion including an outer wall portion that forms the outer surface of the skirt portion and an inner wall portion provided inside the outer wall portion. At least a part of the double wall portion forms a double wall chamber in the lower communication region of the rear functional storage portion between the outer wall portion and the inner wall portion. An inner communication hole is formed in the inner wall portion of the double wall portion forming the double wall chamber so as to communicate the upper storage region and the double wall chamber. An outer communication hole is formed in the outer wall portion of the double wall portion forming the double wall chamber so as to communicate the double wall chamber and the outside of the toilet body. The flexible elongated member extends from the upper connection end portion of the upper storage region of the rear functional storage portion toward the lower connection end portion, is inserted into the double wall chamber through the inner communication hole of the double wall portion from the upper storage region, and then extends out of the double wall chamber through the outer communication hole of the double wall portion to the outside of the toilet body without passing through the lower region, and then the lower connection end portion is connected to the supply source. In the present invention configured as described above, the flexible elongated member extends from the upper connection end portion connected to the functional portion of the upper storage region of the rear functional storage portion toward the lower connection end portion. For this flexible elongated member, it can be inserted into the double wall chamber through the inner communication hole of the double wall portion without being bent or sharply bent from the upper storage region of the rear functional storage portion. Thereafter, for this elongated member, it can be smoothly extended from the double wall chamber through the outer communication hole of the double wall portion to the outside of the toilet body without passing through the lower region of the rear functional storage portion, and the lower connection end portion of the elongated member can be connected to the supply source. Thus, for the flexible elongated member connecting the functional portion and the supply source, most of the middle portion of its path can be concealed in the upper storage region of the rear functional storage portion or in the double wall chamber, so that the design property such as the appearance of the flush toilet can be improved. Also, by inserting the flexible elongated member through the double-wall chamber without passing through the lower region (double-wall chamber) from the upper storage region, it is possible to improve the maneuverability of the elongated member within the limited space of the rear functional storage portion of the toilet body while suppressing the deformation load of the intermediate path of the elongated member between the functional portion and the supply source. Therefore, it is possible to suppress, for example, permanent deformation and damage due to kinks or the like from occurring in the flexible elongated member. Furthermore, from the perspective of fire protection, for example, in the event of a fire occurring in the vicinity of the back side of the wall behind the toilet body or the underside of the floor below the toilet body, even if the fire spreads to the combustible space within the lower region of the rear functional storage portion of the toilet body or the downstream side of the outlet of the drain trap portion from the back side of the wall or the underside of the floor, each of the upper storage region and the lower communication region (double-wall chamber) is isolated from the lower region. Thereby, the risk of the fire in the lower region reaching the functional portion in the upper storage region or the elongated member in the double-wall chamber can be suppressed, and the fire protection of the functional portion in the upper storage region and the elongated member in the double-wall chamber can be ensured. Furthermore, even if foreign matter from outside the toilet body enters the lower communication region (double-wall chamber) through the outer communication hole, since the lower communication region (double-wall chamber) and the upper storage region are partitioned at locations other than the inner communication hole, it is possible to suppress the foreign matter from outside the toilet body reaching the functional portion in the upper storage region from the outer communication hole.

[0010] In the present invention, preferably, the inner wall portion in the double-wall portion forming the double-wall chamber includes a horizontal wall portion that forms a substantially horizontal wall surface, the inner communication hole is formed so as to penetrate the substantially horizontal wall surface of the horizontal wall portion, the outer wall portion in the double-wall portion forming the double-wall chamber includes a vertical wall portion that forms a vertically extending vertical wall surface, and the outer communication hole is formed so as to penetrate the vertical wall surface of the vertical wall portion. In the present invention configured as described above, with regard to the inner communication hole that penetrates through the inner wall portion so as to be communicable between the upper storage region and the double-wall chamber, it is formed so as to penetrate the substantially horizontal wall surface of the horizontal wall portion of the inner wall portion in the double-wall portion. With regard to the outer communication hole of the outer wall portion that penetrates through the double-wall chamber and the outside of the toilet body so as to be communicable, it can be formed so as to penetrate the vertical wall surface of the vertical wall portion of the outer wall portion in the double-wall portion. Due to these, when inserting the elongated member from within the upper storage region into the inner communication hole and extending it from the outer communication hole outside the toilet body from within the double-wall chamber, it is not necessary to greatly bend the elongated member, and it can be inserted smoothly. Therefore, it is possible to effectively suppress the occurrence of permanent deformation or damage due to, for example, kinks or the like in the flexible elongated member.

[0011] In the present invention, preferably, the central axis of the inner communication hole is positioned behind the center in the front-rear direction of the horizontal wall portion, and the outer communication hole is formed in the outer wall portion of the double-wall portion in the rear wall portion of the skirt portion. In the present invention configured as described above, since the central axis of the inner communication hole is positioned behind the center in the front-rear direction of the horizontal wall portion and the outer communication hole is formed in the outer wall portion of the double-wall portion in the rear wall portion of the skirt portion, compared to the case where the central axis of the inner communication hole is positioned at the same position as or in front of the center in the front-rear direction of the horizontal wall portion, the inner communication hole of the horizontal wall portion can be arranged on the rear wall portion side of the skirt portion. Therefore, since the distance between the inner communication hole and the outer communication hole can be reduced, when inserting the elongated member into the inner communication hole and the outer communication hole, it can be made easier to guide it into each communication hole. As a result, for the flexible elongated member, it is not necessary to bend it suddenly, such as by bending it. Further, since the central axis of the inner communication hole is positioned behind the center in the front-rear direction of the horizontal wall portion, when performing an operation such as connecting the upper connection end portion of the elongated member to the functional portion in a state where the elongated member is inserted into the inner communication hole and the outer communication hole, it is not necessary to greatly bend and deform the flexible elongated member so as not to interfere with the front side of the functional portion or the like. As a result, for the flexible elongated member, it is possible to more effectively suppress the occurrence of permanent deformation or damage due to kinks or the like. Furthermore, by reducing the distance between the inner communication hole and the outer communication hole, it is also possible to suppress the thickness of the double wall portion that forms the double wall chamber between the inner communication hole and the outer communication hole through which the elongated member is inserted, so that the entire toilet body can be downsized.

[0012] In the present invention, preferably, the double wall chamber is formed below the upper storage region, and the elongated member is inserted into the double wall chamber through the inner communication hole from within the upper storage region. In the present invention configured as described above, for the elongated member, by inserting it through the double wall chamber formed below the upper storage region, it can be smoothly handled. Also, compared to inserting it through the double wall chamber formed on the side of the upper storage region, the thickness of the side wall portion of the skirt portion and the horizontal width of the entire toilet body in the left - right direction can be suppressed, so that the entire flush toilet can be downsized.

[0013] In the present invention, preferably, the upper connection end portion of the elongated member is connected to the front or side of the functional portion, once extends obliquely downward to the front or obliquely downward to the side, and then is directed toward the inner communication hole on the obliquely downward side to the rear, and is inserted from the inner communication hole through the inside of the double wall chamber to the outer communication hole without passing through the lower region, and is guided to the outside of the toilet body. In the present invention configured as described above, for the elongated member, since its upper connection end portion is connected to the front or side of the functional portion and once extends obliquely downward to the front or obliquely downward to the side and then is directed toward the inner communication hole on the obliquely downward side to the rear, it can be efficiently inserted from the inner communication hole through the inside of the double wall chamber to the outer communication hole without passing through the lower region, and can be efficiently guided to the outside of the toilet body. Further, by inserting a flexible elongated member through the double-wall chamber without passing from the upper storage area to the lower area in the flexible elongated member, while suppressing the deformation load of the intermediate path of the elongated member between the functional part and the supply source, the maneuverability of the elongated member in the limited space of the rear functional storage part of the toilet body can be further improved. Therefore, for the flexible elongated member, for example, permanent deformation and damage due to kinks or the like can be effectively suppressed.

Advantages of the Invention

[0014] According to the flushing toilet of the present invention, the maneuverability and fire resistance of the flexible elongated member connecting the supply source enabling water supply or power supply and the functional part can be improved, and the design property of the entire flushing toilet can be improved.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0016] Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings, a flushing toilet according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described. First, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, the overall configuration of the flushing toilet according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be schematically described. FIG. 1 is an overall configuration diagram of the flushing toilet according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the flushing toilet according to the first embodiment of the present invention as viewed from the rear and obliquely upward. Further, FIG. 3 is a plan view of the flushing toilet according to the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the flushing toilet 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a water supply passage (main water supply passage 2) through which the washing water supplied from a main water supply source W0 such as a water supply passes, a toilet bowl body 4 made of pottery, and a washing water supply device 6.

[0017] Next, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the toilet bowl body 4 includes a bowl portion 8 for receiving dirt, a rim portion 10 formed at the upper edge of the bowl portion 8, and a drain trap portion 12 extending from the bottom of the bowl portion 8. Also, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the washing water supply device 6, the details of which will be described later, is provided on the rear side of the bowl portion 8 of the toilet bowl body 4 and is a functional portion that enables the washing water supplied from the main water supply passage 2 to be supplied to the toilet bowl body 4. More specifically, this functional portion operates by electricity and includes a function of controlling the discharge and stop of the washing water to the bowl portion 8 of the toilet bowl body 4.

[0018] Next, as shown in FIG. 3, a rim water guide passage 14 is formed inside the rim portion 10 on one side (the right side when the toilet bowl body 4 in FIG. 3 is viewed from the front side) of the left and right of the toilet bowl body 4. This rim water guide passage 14 has a so-called U-turn shape that extends forward from the rear side of the toilet bowl body 4 and then bends backward from the middle inside the rim portion 10 on one side (the right side when the toilet bowl body 4 in FIG. 3 is viewed from the front side) of the left and right of the toilet bowl body 4. Also, a rim water discharge port 14a is provided at the downstream end (downstream side rear end) of this rim water guide passage 14. Furthermore, a rim-side water supply passage 2a of the cleaning water supply device 6 is connected to the upstream side of the rim water guide passage 14 of the toilet bowl main body 4. The cleaning water supplied from the rim-side water supply passage 2a to the rim water discharge port 14a is discharged into the bowl portion 8 rearward from the rim water discharge port 14a, and rim water discharge is performed.

[0019] Next, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, a jet water guide passage 16 is formed from the outer surface to the bottom of the bowl portion 8 of the toilet bowl main body 4. The downstream side of the jet water guide passage 16 is directed toward the inlet portion 12a of the drain trap portion 12 at the bottom of the bowl portion 8, and a jet water discharge port 16a is provided at the downstream end of the jet water guide passage 16. Also, a jet-side water supply passage 2b of the cleaning water supply device 6, the details of which will be described later, is provided on the upstream side of the jet water guide passage 16 of the toilet bowl main body 4. The cleaning water supplied from the jet-side water supply passage 2b to the jet water guide passage 16 of the toilet bowl main body 4 is discharged from the jet water discharge port 16a toward the inlet portion 12a of the drain trap portion 12, and jet water discharge is performed. Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the upstream side of the rim-side water supply passage 2a of the cleaning water supply device 6 is connected to the switching valve 18 at the branch portion B of the main water supply passage 2. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 1, the upstream side of the jet-side water supply passage 2b of the cleaning water supply device 6 is connected to a pressure pump 22 of the cleaning water supply device 6 provided on the downstream side of a water storage tank 20 of the cleaning water supply device 6.

[0020] Next, the drain trap portion 12 of the toilet bowl main body 4 includes an inlet portion 12a provided at the bottom of the bowl portion 8, a rising pipe 12b rising from the inlet portion 12a, and a descending pipe 12c descending from the rising pipe 12b, and the top portion 12d is formed between the rising pipe 12b and the descending pipe 12c. Also, as shown in FIG. 1, the outlet portion 12e of the descending pipe 12c of the drain trap portion 12 is connected to the inlet portion of a drain socket S disposed rearward and downward of the toilet bowl main body 4. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1, the outlet portion on the rear side of the drain socket S is connected to the inlet portion of a drain pipe D extending from the side of a rear wall (not shown) of the toilet body 4. As a result, the drainage discharged from the outlet portion 12e of the drainage trap portion 12 of the toilet body 4 is discharged from the drain socket S to the drain pipe D on the wall side, which is a so-called "wall-side drainage" drainage form. Note that, in the flushing toilet 1 of the present embodiment, it is not limited to such a "wall-side drainage" drainage form, and it is also applicable to a so-called "floor-side drainage" drainage form in which the drainage discharged from the outlet portion 12e of the drainage trap portion 12 of the toilet body 4 is discharged from the drain socket S to a drain pipe below the installation surface (floor surface F) of the bottom surface of the toilet body 4.

[0021] Next, with reference to FIG. 1, each component of the cleaning water supply device 6 of the flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment will be schematically described. First, as shown in FIG. 1, the cleaning water supply device 6 includes a stop valve 24, a branch fitting 26, a valve unit 28, and a switching valve 18 in order from the upstream side to the downstream side of the main water supply path 2. Next, the valve unit 28 includes a water supply pipe elbow 28a, a constant flow valve 30, a diaphragm type main valve 32, and an electromagnetic valve 34 such as a solenoid valve. In addition, the cleaning water supply device 6 includes a controller 36. This controller 36 can function as a control unit that controls the opening and closing operation of the on-off valve (electromagnetic valve 34) of the valve unit 28, the switching operation of the switching valve 18, and the rotation speed and operating time of the pressure pump 22.

[0022] Furthermore, the constant flow valve 30 of the valve unit 28 is for restricting the cleaning water that has passed through the branch fitting 26 from the stop valve 24 in the main water supply path 2 to a predetermined flow rate or less. Incidentally, in the branch fitting 26, for example, in a form in which a local sanitary cleaning device (not shown) is provided for the flushing toilet 1, a water supply pipe (not shown) for supplying cleaning water to the local sanitary cleaning device (not shown) can also be connected. In addition, when the local sanitary cleaning device (not shown) is omitted, the branch fitting 26 may also be omitted. Furthermore, in the valve unit 28, when the solenoid valve 34 is opened under the control of the controller 36, the main valve 32 is opened, and the cleaning water that has passed through the main valve 32 from the constant flow valve 30 is supplied to the switching valve 18 at the branch portion B on the downstream side of the main water supply path 2. Here, the switching valve 18 can supply the cleaning water in the main water supply path 2 to both the rim side water supply path 2a and the tank side water supply path 2c at the same timing, and can arbitrarily change the ratio of the water supply amounts to the rim side and the tank side.

[0023] Next, the cleaning water supply device 6 includes a tank device T that enables the cleaning water supplied from the main water supply path 2 to be supplied to the toilet body 4. This tank device T includes a water storage tank 20 that is connected to the rear of the toilet body 4 and stores the cleaning water supplied from the main water supply path 2, and a pump (pressure pump 22) that pumps the cleaning water in the water storage tank 20 to the toilet body 4. Furthermore, on the downstream side of the branch portion B on the downstream side of the main water supply path 2, a rim side water supply path 2a that communicates with the rim water guide path 14 of the toilet body 4 and a tank side water supply path 2c that is connected to the water storage tank 20 are respectively provided. Thereby, the cleaning water supplied from the main water supply source W0 to the branch portion B of the main water supply path 2 is used as at least one of the rim water supply to the rim side water supply path 2a and the tank water supply to the tank side water supply path 2c.

[0024] In addition, the cleaning water supply device 6 is respectively provided with a pump water supply path 2d that extends from the downstream side of the tank side water supply path 2c to the pressure pump 22, and a jet side water supply path 2b that extends downstream from the pressure pump 22. With these, in the flush toilet 1 of the present embodiment, the city water pressure cleaning water supplied from the main water supply path 2 is supplied from the rim side water supply path 2a of the cleaning water supply device 6 to the rim water guide path 14 of the toilet body 4 and then to the rim water discharge port 14a, enabling water discharge (so-called "rim water discharge") from the rim water discharge port 14a. Furthermore, the washing water supplied from the main water supply line 2 to the washing water supply device 6 passes through the tank side water supply line 2c, the water storage tank 20, the pump water supply line 2d, and the pressure pump 22 of the washing water supply device 6, and then is supplied from the jet side water supply line 2b to the jet water guide line 16 of the toilet body 4 and reaches the jet water outlet 16a, enabling water discharge (so-called "jet water discharge") from the jet water outlet 16a. That is, the flushing toilet 1 of the present embodiment functions as a so-called hybrid type flushing toilet 1 that can use both rim water discharge by the tap water pressure washing water supplied from the main water supply line 2 and jet water discharge by the washing water pressurized by the pressure pump 22 from the water storage tank 20.

[0025] Next, an upper float switch 38 and a lower float switch 40 are respectively arranged inside the water storage tank 20. These float switches 38 and 40 can detect the water level in the water storage tank 20. For example, when the water level in the water storage tank 20 reaches a predetermined water storage level, the upper float switch 38 switches to the on state, and the controller 36 detects this on state of the upper float switch 38 and closes the solenoid valve 34. On the other hand, in the case of the lower float switch 40, when the water level in the water storage tank 20 drops to a predetermined water level lower than the predetermined water storage level detected by the upper float switch 38, it switches to the on state, and the controller 36 detects this on state of the lower float switch 40 and stops the pressure pump 22. The pressure pump 22 is for sucking the washing water stored in the water storage tank 20 into the pump water supply line 2d, pressurizing the washing water from this pump water supply line 2d to the jet side water supply line 2b, and discharging it from the jet water outlet 16a.

[0026] With these structures, during normal toilet flushing, the controller 36 detects operations such as the operation of a toilet flushing switch (not shown) by the user and sequentially activates the solenoid valve 34, the switching valve 18, and the pressure pump 22. As a result, the water discharge from the rim water discharge port 14a and the jet water discharge port 16a is sequentially started, and the washing water that has washed the inside of the bowl portion 8 is discharged from the drain trap portion 12 together with the dirt in the bowl portion 8. Furthermore, after the cleaning is completed, the controller 36 opens the solenoid valve 34, the switching valve 18 is switched to the water supply path 2c side of the tank, and the cleaning water in the main water supply path 2 is replenished into the water storage tank 20. Then, when the water level in the water storage tank 20 rises and the upper float switch 38 detects the specified water storage amount, the controller 36 closes the solenoid valve 34, the main valve 32 closes the main water supply path 2, and the water supply is stopped. In addition, each device of these washing water supply devices 6 (functional parts) is stored in a rear functional storage part V0 (details will be described later) in a region behind the bowl part 8 of the toilet body 4.

[0027] Next, with reference to FIGS. 2 to 7, a rear functional storage part V0 in which the washing water supply device 6 (functional part) in the toilet body 4 of the flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment is stored, and the peripheral structure of this rear functional storage part V0 will be specifically described. First, FIG. 4 is a rear view of the flush toilet according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Next, FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line V-V of FIG. 4. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VI-VI of FIG. 3. Further, FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VII-VII of FIG. 3. Here, in the flush toilet 1 of the present embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the washing water supply device 6 is not shown and is omitted.

[0028] First, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 7, the toilet body 4 includes a skirt portion 42 formed outside the side surfaces of the bowl portion 8 and the drain trap portion 12 thereof. In addition, the rear functional storage part V0 of the toilet body 4 is provided below the upper end of the skirt portion 42 and inside the skirt portion 42 in a region behind the bowl portion 8 of the toilet body 4. This rear functional storage part V0 includes an upper storage area V1 which is a storage area capable of storing at least a part of the washing water supply device 6 (functional part), a lower area V2 formed so as to be isolated downward with respect to this upper storage area V1, and a lower communication area V3 formed so as to be adjacent and isolated with respect to this lower area V2 and formed to be communicable with the lower side of the upper storage area V1. That is, since the lower communication area V3 is isolated from the lower area V2, it does not communicate with the lower area V2. On the other hand, the lower communication area V3 is an area that enables communication between the upper storage area V1 and the outside of the toilet body 4.

[0029] Next, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 7, the skirt part 42 includes a rear wall part 42a provided on the rear surface of the toilet body 4 and side wall parts 42b provided on the left and right side surfaces when the toilet body 4 is viewed from the front. In addition, a connection opening 44 to which the drain pipe D is connected is formed so as to penetrate in the front-rear direction at a lower portion in the center in the left-right direction when viewed from the front in the rear wall part 42a of the skirt part 42. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5, in the rear functional storage part V0 of the toilet body 4, a drain socket storage part 46 is formed on the front side of the connection opening 44 in the lower area V2 thereof. This drain socket storage part 46 functions as a storage area capable of storing a drain socket S connected to the outlet part 12e of the down pipe 12c of the drain trap part 12. That is, the outlet part 12e of the down pipe 12c of the drain trap part 12 and the drain socket S are arranged in the lower area V2 of the rear functional storage part V0 of the toilet body 4.

[0030] Next, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the rear functional storage part V0 includes a support wall part 48 that supports the washing water supply device 6 (functional part). This support wall part 48 vertically divides the area on the rear side of the bowl part 8 of the toilet body 4 into the upper storage area V1 and the lower area V2 respectively. Also, the upper storage area V1 of the rear functional storage part V0 is an area capable of storing at least a part of the washing water supply device 6 (functional part). Furthermore, the lower region V2 of the rear functional storage part V0 includes the opening regions of the connection opening 44 and the drain socket storage part 46, respectively.

[0031] Next, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the rear wall part 42a and the side wall part 42b of the skirt part 42 form a double wall part E including an outer wall part 42c that forms the outer surface of the skirt part 42 and an inner wall part 42d provided inside with respect to the outer wall part 42c. Also, this double wall part E forms an internal space (double wall chamber I) between the outer wall part 42c and the inner wall part 42d.

[0032] Next, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the support wall part 48 of the rear functional storage part V0 of the toilet body 4 includes a main wall part 48b that divides the region on the rear side of the bowl part 8 into an upper storage region V1 and a lower region V2. Also, the support wall part 48 includes an auxiliary wall part 48c provided outside the main wall part 48b. This auxiliary wall part 48c includes the inner wall part 42d of the skirt part 42 that divides the upper storage region V1 and the internal space (double wall chamber I) of the double wall part E of the skirt part 42. Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 3, 6, and 7, on the bottom surface of one side (the right bottom surface when the auxiliary wall part 48c shown in FIG. 6 is viewed from the rear side) of the auxiliary wall part 48c, an inner communication hole 50 that communicates the upper storage region V1 and the lower communication region V3 (the double wall chamber I of the double wall part E of the skirt part 42) is formed. Also, as shown in FIGS. 2, 4, and 7, on the rear wall part 42a of the skirt part 42, an outer communication hole 52 that communicates the double wall chamber I corresponding to the lower communication region V3 and the outside of the toilet body 4 is formed in the outer wall part 42c that forms the double wall chamber I. Due to each of these inner communication holes 50 and outer communication holes 52, for the upper storage region V1 of the rear functional storage part V0 and the outside of the toilet body 4, they can be communicated via the lower communication region V3 without passing through the lower region V2 of the rear functional storage part V0.

[0033] Next, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the auxiliary wall portion 48c in which the inner communication hole 50 is formed includes a horizontal wall portion 48d that forms a substantially horizontal wall surface. Thereby, the inner communication hole 50 is formed so as to penetrate the substantially horizontal wall surface of the horizontal wall portion 48d in the vertical direction. Also, as shown in FIGS. 2, 4, and 7, the outer wall portion 42c of the lower communication region V3 (double wall chamber I) in which the outer communication hole 52 is formed includes a vertical wall portion 42e that forms a vertical wall surface extending in the vertical direction. Thereby, the outer communication hole 52 is formed so as to penetrate the vertical wall surface of the vertical wall portion 42e in the front-rear direction. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 7, the central axis A1 of the inner communication hole 50 is positioned behind the position of the center A2 in the front-rear direction of the horizontal plane of the horizontal wall portion 48d, and the outer communication hole 52 is formed in the outer wall portion 42c of the double wall portion E in the rear wall portion 42a of the skirt portion 42.

[0034] Next, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, 6, and 7, the flushing toilet 1 of the present embodiment includes a water supply hose 54 that is a flexible elongated member. This water supply hose 54 connects a branch fitting 26 on the downstream side of the stop valve 24 and a part (water supply pipe elbow 28a) of the valve unit 28 of the cleaning water supply device 6. Incidentally, each of the inner communication hole 50 and the outer communication hole 52 described above also functions as a hole through which the water supply hose 54 can be inserted. Also, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, 6, and 7, the water supply hose 54 includes a lower connection end portion 54a connected to the branch fitting 26 disposed on the supply source side of the cleaning water, and an upper connection end portion 54b connected to a part (water supply pipe elbow 28a) of the valve unit 28 of the cleaning water supply device 6. That is, the water supply hose 54 extends from its upper connection end 54b toward the lower connection end 54a, and is inserted from the upper storage region V1 through the inner communication hole 50 into the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I). Then, without passing through the lower region V2, the water supply hose 54 extends from the lower communication region V3 through the outer communication hole 52 to the outside of the toilet body 4, and then the lower connection end 54a is connected to a cleaning water supply source (branch fitting 26) near the floor surface F. In this embodiment, the form in which the upstream side (lower connection end 54a) of the water supply hose 54 is connected to the branch fitting 26 will be described. However, if the branch fitting 26 is omitted due to circumstances such as omitting a local cleaning device (not shown), the upstream side (lower connection end 54a) of the water supply hose 54 may be directly connected to the stop valve 24.

[0035] Also, as shown in FIG. 7, more specifically, the upper connection end 54b of the water supply hose 54 is connected to a water supply pipe elbow 28a that extends obliquely forward and downward from the side of the valve unit 28 of the cleaning water supply device 6. Then, the water supply hose 54 is such that its upper connection end 54b once extends obliquely downward in the front or obliquely downward in the side, and then is directed toward the inner communication hole 50 on the obliquely downward side in the rear. After that, the water supply hose 54 is inserted from the inner communication hole 50 through the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) to the outer communication hole 52 without passing through the lower region V2, and is guided to the outside of the toilet body 4.

[0036] Next, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8, the operation of the flush toilet 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention described above will be explained. First, according to the flush toilet 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the flexible and elongated water supply hose 54 extends from the upper connection end 54b connected to a part (water supply pipe elbow 28a) of the valve unit 28 of the cleaning water supply device 6 in the upper storage region V1 of the rear function storage portion V0 toward the lower connection end 54a. At this time, with respect to the water supply hose 54, it can be inserted into the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) through the inner communication hole 50 of the double-wall portion E without being bent or sharply bent from the upper storage region V1. After that, with respect to this water supply hose 54, it can be smoothly extended to the outside of the toilet body 4 through the outer communication hole 52 of the double-wall portion E from within the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) without passing through the lower region V2. By these means, for the water supply hose 54, most of the middle part of its path can be concealed within the upper storage region V1 or the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I), so that the design property such as the appearance of the wash-down toilet 1 can be improved. Also, by inserting the flexible water supply hose 54 through the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) without passing through the lower region V2 from within the upper storage region V1, while suppressing the deformation load of the middle path of the water supply hose 54 between a part of the valve unit 28 of the cleaning water supply device 6 (water supply pipe elbow 28a) and the cleaning water supply source (branch fitting 26 or stop valve 24), the maneuverability of the water supply hose 54 within the limited space of the rear functional storage portion V0 of the toilet body 4 can be improved. Therefore, for the flexible water supply hose 54, for example, permanent deformation or damage due to kinks or the like can also be suppressed. Furthermore, from the perspective of fire resistance, for example, in the event of a fire occurring, for example, on the back side of the wall behind the toilet body 4 or in the peripheral part under the floor below the toilet body 4, even if the fire reaches the combustible space within the lower region V2 of the rear functional storage portion V0 of the toilet body 4 or the downstream side of the outlet portion 12e of the drain trap portion 12, each of the upper storage region V1 and the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) of the rear functional storage portion V0 of the toilet body 4 is isolated from the lower region V2. Thereby, the risk of the fire in the lower region V2 reaching the cleaning water supply device 6 in the upper storage region V1 or the water supply hose 54 in the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) can be suppressed, and the fire resistance of the cleaning water supply device 6 and the water supply hose 54 can be ensured. Furthermore, even if foreign matter from outside the toilet body 4 enters the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) through the outer communication hole 52, since the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) and the upper storage region V1 are partitioned at locations other than the inner communication hole 50, it is possible to suppress the foreign matter from outside the toilet body 4 from reaching the cleaning water supply device 6 in the upper storage region V1 from the outer communication hole 52.

[0037] Furthermore, according to the flush toilet 1 of the present embodiment, with respect to the inner communication hole 50 of the inner wall portion 42d that penetrates the upper storage region V1 and the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) in a communicable manner, it is formed so as to penetrate the substantially horizontal wall surface of the horizontal wall portion 48d of the inner wall portion 42d in the double-wall portion E. And with respect to the outer communication hole 52 of the outer wall portion 42c that penetrates the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) and the outside of the toilet body 4 in a communicable manner, it could be formed so as to penetrate the vertical wall surface of the vertical wall portion 42e of the outer wall portion 42c in the double-wall portion E. Thereby, when inserting the water supply hose 54 from inside the upper storage region V1 into the inner communication hole 50 and extending it from the outer communication hole 52 to the outside of the toilet body 4 from the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I), it is not necessary to bend the water supply hose 54 greatly, and it can be inserted smoothly. Therefore, it is possible to effectively suppress, for example, permanent deformation or damage due to kinks or the like from occurring in the flexible water supply hose 54.

[0038] Also, according to the flush toilet 1 of the present embodiment, the central axis A1 of the inner communication hole 50 is positioned behind the center A2 in the front-rear direction of the horizontal wall portion 48d, and the outer communication hole 52 is formed in the outer wall portion 42c of the double-wall portion E in the rear wall portion 42a of the skirt portion 42. Thereby, compared with the case where the central axis A1 of the inner communication hole 50 is positioned at the same position as or in front of the center A2 in the front-rear direction of the horizontal wall portion 48d, the inner communication hole 50 of the horizontal wall portion 48d can be arranged on the rear wall portion 42a side of the skirt portion 42. Therefore, since the distance between the inner communication hole 50 and the outer communication hole 52 can be reduced, when inserting the water supply hose 54 into the inner communication hole 50 and the outer communication hole 52, it can be easily guided into each of the communication holes 50, 52. Accordingly, for the flexible water supply hose 54, there is no need to bend it sharply, such as by bending it. Also, since the central axis A1 of the inner communication hole 50 is positioned behind the position of the center A2 in the front-rear direction of the horizontal wall portion 48d, when connecting the upper connection end portion 54b of the water supply hose 54 to a part (water supply pipe elbow 28a) of the valve unit 28 of the washing water supply device 6 in a state where the water supply hose 54 is inserted into the inner communication hole 50 and the outer communication hole 52, there is no need to greatly bend and deform the flexible water supply hose 54 so as not to interfere with the front side or the like of the washing water supply device 6. As a result, for the flexible water supply hose 54, it is possible to more effectively suppress the occurrence of permanent deformation and damage due to kinks or the like. Furthermore, by reducing the distance between the inner communication hole 50 and the outer communication hole 52, it is also possible to suppress the thickness of the double-wall portion E forming the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) between the inner communication hole 50 and the outer communication hole 52 through which the water supply hose 54 is inserted, so that the entire toilet body 4 can be downsized.

[0039] Furthermore, according to the washlet toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the water supply hose 54 can be smoothly routed by inserting it through the lower communication region V3 (double-wall chamber I) formed below the upper storage region V1. Also, compared with inserting through the double-wall chamber I formed on the side of the upper storage region V1, since the thickness of the side wall portion 42b of the skirt portion 42 and the overall left-right horizontal width of the toilet body 4 can be suppressed, the entire washlet toilet 1 can be downsized (slimmed down).

[0040] Furthermore, according to the flushing toilet 1 of the present embodiment, for the water supply hose 54, the upper connection end portion 54b thereof is connected to the front or side of the cleaning water supply device 6, and after once extending obliquely downward to the front or obliquely downward to the side, it is directed toward the inner communication hole on the obliquely downward side to the rear. Therefore, without passing through the lower region V2, it can be efficiently inserted from the inner communication hole 50 through the lower communication region V3 (double wall chamber I) to the outer communication hole 52, and can be efficiently guided to the outside of the toilet body 4. Also, by inserting the flexible water supply hose 54 through the lower communication region V3 (double wall chamber I) without passing through the lower region V2 from the upper storage region V1, while suppressing the deformation load of the intermediate path of the water supply hose 54 between a part (water supply pipe elbow 28a) of the valve unit 28 of the cleaning water supply device 6 and the water supply source (branch fitting 26 or stop valve 24), the maneuverability of the water supply hose 54 in the limited space of the rear functional storage portion V0 of the toilet body 4 can be further improved. Therefore, for the flexible water supply hose 54, for example, permanent deformation and damage due to kinks or the like can be effectively suppressed.

[0041] Next, with reference to FIG. 8, the flushing toilet 100 according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view similar to FIG. 7 of the flushing toilet according to the second embodiment of the present invention. Here, in the flushing toilet 100 according to the second embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 8, the same parts as those of the flushing toilet 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 7 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the descriptions thereof are omitted, and only the different structural parts will be described. First, as shown in FIG. 8, in the toilet body 104 of the flushing toilet 100 according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the auxiliary wall portion 148a of the support wall portion 148 in which the inner communication hole 150 is formed includes a vertical wall portion 148b that forms a vertical wall surface extending in the vertical direction. Thereby, the inner communication hole 150 is formed so as to penetrate the vertical wall surface of the vertical wall portion 148b in the front-rear direction. Also, as shown in FIG. 8, an outer communication hole 152 is formed in the outer wall portion 142a of the skirt portion 142 that forms the lower communication region V103 (double-wall chamber I).

[0042] According to the flushing toilet 100 of the second embodiment of the present invention described above, when inserting the water supply hose 54 from within the upper storage region V101 into the inner communication hole 150 and extending it from the lower communication region V103 (double-wall chamber I) to the outside of the toilet body 4 through the outer communication hole 152, it is not necessary to greatly bend the water supply hose 54, and it can be inserted smoothly. In addition, since the distance in the front-rear direction between the inner communication hole 150 and the outer communication hole 152 can be reduced, the entire toilet body 104 can be downsized while securing the upper storage region V101. Furthermore, by reducing the distance in the front-rear direction between the inner communication hole 150 and the outer communication hole 152, when inserting the water supply hose 54 into the inner communication hole 150 and the outer communication hole 152, it can be easily guided into each of the communication holes 150, 152. Therefore, for the flexible water supply hose 54, there is no need to bend it suddenly, such as by bending it. Therefore, it is possible to effectively suppress the occurrence of permanent deformation or damage due to, for example, kinks in the flexible water supply hose 54.

[0043] In the flushing toilets 1, 100 according to the first and second embodiments of the present invention described above, the form in which the water supply hose 54 is adopted as a flexible elongated member has been described. However, it is not limited to such a form, and other forms are also applicable. For example, as another form of the flexible elongated member, two water supply hoses may be adopted: a water supply hose 54 for toilet flushing that supplies flushing water for toilet flushing to the flushing water supply device 6, and a water supply hose for local flushing that supplies flushing water for local flushing to a local flushing device (not shown). These two water supply hoses may be inserted into the inner communication holes 50, 150 and the outer communication holes 52, 152, respectively. Alternatively, as yet another form of the flexible elongated member, it may be applied to a wiring hose through which a plurality of power supply wirings for supplying power to a cleaning water supply device 6, a local cleaning device (not shown), a heater device for cold regions (not shown), etc., arranged in the toilet body 4, 104 are inserted, and this wiring hose may be inserted into each of the inner communication holes 50, 150 and the outer communication holes 52, 152.
