Abstract

To swing an armrest by a link mechanism when a sudden forward external force is applied to the armrest, thereby absorbing an impact applied to the armrest.SOLUTION: A backrest part 11 that is freely raised and brought down in the front-rear direction is disposed on the rear side of a seat surface part 10, and an armrest 13 is attached to a center console 12 disposed on the lateral side of the seat surface part 10 via a parallel link mechanism 14. The armrest 13 is swingable between a use state in which it projects above the seat surface part 10 and a retracted state positioned outward in the vehicle width direction from the locus of the rising / falling movement of the backrest part 11. In the use state, when the backrest part 11 tilts forward, the armrest 13 is pressed by the backrest part 11 and swings toward the retracted state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
