Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0013] Hereinafter, embodiments of the dye pen and the thread dyeing method according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0014] Figures 1 to 10 are diagrams showing embodiments of the dye pen and the thread dyeing method according to the present disclosure.

[0015] First, the thread dyeing starter set used for implementing the thread dyeing method will be described.

[0016] As shown in Fig. 1, the thread dyeing starter set 1 includes a transparent bag 8 made of synthetic resin, a plurality of, for example, three dyeing pens 10 housed in the transparent bag 8, a dedicated thread for dyeing 2 arranged in the transparent bag 8, a plurality of, for example, three liquid dye containers 3, 4, 5 arranged in the transparent bag 8 and storing liquid dyes, and a color fit liquid container 6 arranged in the transparent bag 8 and storing a color fit liquid.

[0017] Also, a dyeing method manual 7 for the thread dyeing starter set is housed in the transparent bag 8.

[0018] Among the thread dyeing starter set 1, the dedicated thread for dyeing 2 arranged in the transparent bag 8 is made of, for example, 100% cotton thread, and is a thread that serves as a raw material for producing a dyed thread for enjoying work using cotton thread, such as sashiko. Such a dedicated thread for dyeing 2 is not particularly limited as long as it is a thread developed by a thread manufacturer for "thread dyeing", and various threads can be used.

[0019] Also, an oiling agent is impregnated in the dedicated thread for dyeing 2 in advance. Since the dedicated thread for dyeing 2 contains an oiling agent in this way, it is a thread suitable for work using cotton thread, such as sashiko.

[0020] A hook 9 for hanging the transparent bag 8 on a structure (not shown) is attached to the transparent bag 8.

[0021] Among the liquid dye containers 3, 4, 5, a liquid dye 3a of moon yellow is stored in the liquid dye container 3, and the liquid dye container 3 is sealed with a cap 3b.

[0022] Also, a liquid dye 4a of cherry red is stored in the liquid dye container 4, and the liquid dye container 4 is sealed with a cap 4b. A liquid dye 5a of aqua blue is stored in the liquid dye container 5, and the liquid dye container 5 is sealed with a cap 5b.

[0023] Furthermore, the color fit liquid container 6 contains a color fit liquid 6a for fixing the liquid dye containers 3, 4, and 5 to the dye-specific yarn 2. The color fit liquid container 6 is sealed with a cap 6b.

[0024] Next, we will discuss the dye pens 10. As described above, three dye pens 10 are placed inside the transparent bag 8, and each dye pen 10 stores a different color dye (moon yellow, cherry red, and aqua blue), so there are three dye pens provided to accommodate the three colors of liquid dye.

[0025] 2 and 3A to 5B, the three dye pens 10 have the same shape. That is, each dye pen 10 has a dye pen body 11 with an opening 11a on one side, a felt portion 12 attached to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11, and a cap 13 that covers the felt portion 12.

[0026] The dye pen body 11 contains the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a therein, and the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a are filled into the dye pen body 11 through an opening 11a.

[0027] The felt portion 12 also has a felt holder 12b and a felt 12a made of synthetic resin felt material held by the felt holder 12b. The felt holder 12b has a cylindrical portion 12b1, and the felt holder 12b is attached to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11 by engaging an internal thread formed on the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 12b1 of the felt holder 12b with an external thread 11b formed on the outer surface of the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11.

[0028] In this embodiment, an inner plug 15 is attached to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11, and when the felt holder 12b of the felt portion 12 is attached to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11, the inner plug 15 is already attached to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11.

[0029] Here, FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the dye pen 10 showing each component part of the dye pen 10. The dye pen body 11 of the dye pen 10 has an opening 11a as described above and is filled with liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a inside. Also, a scale 11c indicating the filling amounts of the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a is provided on the outer surface of the dye pen body 11.

[0030] Also, as shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, the dye pen 10 is decomposable. That is, as shown in FIG. 4A, the cap 13 is removed from the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11.

[0031] After that, the felt holder 12b is rotated clockwise with respect to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11 to disengage the external thread 11b formed on the outer surface of the opening 11a from the internal thread formed on the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 12b1 of the felt holder 12b. In this way, the felt holder 12b and the felt 12a can be removed from the opening 11a (see FIG. 4A), and then the middle plug 15 can be removed from the opening 11a of the dye pen 10 (see FIG. 4B). In this embodiment, the direction of rotation for removing the felt holder 12b and the felt 12a is clockwise, which is different from the normal direction of rotation.

[0032] Next, the dye pen 10 can be assembled as shown in FIGS. 5A to 5C.

[0033] That is, first, after disassembling the dye pen 10, the desired liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a are filled into the dye pen body 11 from the opening 11a. Next, the middle plug 15 is fitted into the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11 (see FIG. 5A).

[0034] Next, attach the felt portion 12 to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11 (see Fig. 5B). In this case, rotate the felt holder 12b of the felt portion 12 counterclockwise with respect to the opening 11a, and tighten the internal thread formed on the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 12b1 of the felt holder 12b onto the external thread 11b of the opening 11a. By doing this, the felt portion 12 can be firmly attached to the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11. Note that in this embodiment, the rotational direction for attaching the felt holder 12b and the felt 12a is different from the normal rotational direction and is counterclockwise.

[0035] After that, attach the cap 13 to cover the felt portion 12 on the opening 11a of the dye pen body 11. In this way, the dye pen 10 can be assembled.

[0036] Next, the middle stopper 15 will be described in detail.

[0037] As shown in Figs. 4B and 4C, the middle stopper 15 has a middle stopper body 15c having a flange 15g and four legs 15b that taper downward from the middle stopper body 15c toward the dye pen body 11 side. Further, a cylindrical body 15a that is movable in the vertical direction is provided on the middle stopper body 15c, and a contact plate 15d that abuts against the inner surface of the flange 15g is attached to the cylindrical body 15a.

[0038] A moving shaft 15e that extends downward toward the four legs 15b side is attached to the contact plate 15d, and a spring 15f is attached to the outer periphery of the moving shaft 15e.

[0039] And normally, due to the biasing force of the spring 15f, the cylindrical body 15a, the contact plate 15d, and the moving shaft 15e are pressed upward toward the felt portion 12 side, and at this time, the contact plate 15d abuts against the lower surface of the flange 15g.

[0040] As described above, the cylindrical body 15a is provided so as to be movable in the vertical direction with respect to the middle stopper body 15c having the flange 15g, and the cylindrical body 15a is provided through the opening 15h of the flange 15g.

[0041] On the other hand, the felt 12a of the felt portion 12 is provided so as to be movable in the vertical direction with respect to the felt holder 12b.

[0042] In the present embodiment, the terms "upward", "downward", and "vertical direction" refer to the "upward", "downward", and "vertical direction" when the dyeing pen 10 is arranged as shown in FIGS. 4A to 5C.

[0043] As described above, in the middle plug 15, normally, the cylindrical body 15a, the contact plate 15d, and the moving shaft 15e are biased upward by the spring 15f. As a result, the contact plate 15d contacts the lower surface of the flange 15g of the middle plug body 15c to seal the opening 15h through which the cylindrical body 15a of the flange 15g passes.

[0044] On the other hand, when the dyeing pen 10 is used, the dyeing pen 10 shown in FIG. 4A is repeatedly used. At this time, since a force is applied to the felt 12a of the felt portion 12 from the side of the dedicated dyeing thread 2, the felt 12a moves toward the dyeing pen body 11 side. At this time, the cylindrical body 15a of the middle plug 15 is pressed toward the dyeing pen body 11 side by the felt 12a moving toward the dyeing pen body 11 side. At this time, the cylindrical body 15a, the contact plate 15d, and the moving shaft 15e move toward the dyeing pen body 11 side against the force of the spring 15f. As a result, the contact plate 15d separates from the flange 15g of the middle plug body 15c, and the opening 15h of the flange 15g becomes open. In this case, the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a stored in the dyeing pen body 11 are supplied to the felt 12a side of the felt portion 12 through the opening 15h of the flange 15g. [[ID=~17]]

[0045] Next, the operation of the present embodiment having such a configuration, that is, the thread dyeing method, will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 to 10.

[0046] First, the user prepares the bundled dyeing - dedicated thread 2 and unfolds this bundled dyeing - dedicated thread 2. Next, the user repeatedly holds the dyeing pen 10 and strikes the dyeing pen 10 against the dyeing - dedicated thread 2 from the felt 12a side of the felt part 12 while applying force to the dyeing pen 10. By doing this, the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a stored in the dyeing - pen body 11 of the dyeing pen 10 are gradually oozed out from the felt 12a to the dyeing - dedicated thread 2 side, and the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a are impregnated into the dyeing - dedicated thread 2. In this way, the dyeing - dedicated thread 2 can be dyed using the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a.

[0047] Next, the thread - dyeing method will be described more specifically with reference to FIGS. 7 to 10.

[0048] First, the user prepares a synthetic - resin - made sheet 25 and places the bundled dyeing - dedicated thread 2 on this sheet 25. At this time, the bundled dyeing - dedicated thread 2 is placed in a ring shape on the sheet 25 (see FIG. 7).

[0049] Next, the user uses three dyeing pens 10 to dye the dyeing - dedicated thread 2 with liquid dyes in the order of moon - yellow, cherry - red, and aqua - blue.

[0050] At this time, the user imagines the dyeing locations for each of the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a of different colors on the ring - shaped dyeing - dedicated thread 2.

[0051] For example, for the moon - yellow liquid dye 3a, the user imagines dyeing the liquid dye to the dyeing - dedicated thread 2 at the first location 21a, the second location 21b, the third location 21c, and the fourth location 21d.

[0052] Here, the first location 21a, the second location 21b, the third location 21c, and the fourth location 21d are set to be spaced apart from each other at the same distance along the dyeing - dedicated thread 2 on the dyeing - dedicated thread 2.

[0053] Similarly, for the cherry red liquid dye 4a, imagine dyeing the dedicated dyeing thread 2 with the liquid dye at the first position 22a, the second position 22b, the third position 22c, and the fourth position 22d.

[0054] Here, the first position 22a, the second position 22b, the third position 22c, and the fourth position 22d are set to be spaced apart from each other at the same distance along the dedicated dyeing thread 2 on the dedicated dyeing thread 2.

[0055] Similarly, for the aqua blue liquid dye 5a, imagine dyeing the dedicated dyeing thread 2 with the liquid dye at the first position 23a, the second position 23b, the third position 23c, and the fourth position 23d.

[0056] Here, the first position 23a, the second position 23b, the third position 23c, and the fourth position 23d are set to be spaced apart from each other at the same distance along the dedicated dyeing thread 2 on the dedicated dyeing thread 2.

[0057] In this embodiment, on the dedicated dyeing thread 2, the first positions 21a, 22a, 23a for dyeing moon yellow, cherry red, and aqua blue, the second positions 21b, 22b, 23b, the third positions 21c, 22c, 23c, and the fourth positions 21d, 22d, 23d are all set at equal intervals between adjacent positions along the dedicated dyeing thread 2. Therefore, the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a can be dyed at equal intervals with respect to the ring-shaped dedicated dyeing thread 2.

[0058] Next, the user sequentially dyes the dedicated dyeing thread 2 on the sheet 25 with the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a along the above-described image.

[0059] Specifically, the dedicated dyeing thread 2 containing water in advance is laid flat and placed on the sheet 25. First, using the dyeing pen 10 containing the moon yellow liquid dye 3a, the liquid dye 3a is dyed at the first position 21a, the second position 21b, the third position 21c, and the fourth position 21d of the dedicated dyeing thread 2.

[0060] At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, the dyeing pen 10 is tapped against the dedicated dyeing thread 2 from the felt 12a side of the felt portion 12. By doing this, the liquid dye 3a stored in the dyeing pen body 11 of the dyeing pen 10 is made to ooze out from the felt 12a to the dedicated dyeing thread 2 side, and the dedicated dyeing thread 2 can be dyed with the liquid dye 3a. Also, since the dedicated dyeing thread 2 contains water in advance, the liquid dye 3a dyed on the dedicated dyeing thread 2 spreads to both sides of each of the first location 21a, the second location 21b, the third location 21c, and the fourth location 21d.

[0061] Next, in the same manner as the method of dyeing the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow, without drying the dedicated dyeing thread 2, using the dyeing pen 10 containing the liquid dye 4a of cherry red, the liquid dye 4a is dyed at the first location 22a, the second location 22b, the third location 22c, and the fourth location 22d of the dedicated dyeing thread 2.

[0062] At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, the dyeing pen 10 is tapped against the dedicated dyeing thread 2 on the felt 12a side of the felt portion 12. By doing this, the liquid dye 4a stored in the dyeing pen body 11 of the dyeing pen 10 is made to ooze out from the felt 12a to the dedicated dyeing thread 2 side, and the dedicated dyeing thread 2 can be dyed with the liquid dye 4a. Also, since the dedicated dyeing thread 2 contains water in advance, the liquid dye 4a dyed on the dedicated dyeing thread 2 spreads to both sides of each of the first location 22a, the second location 22b, the third location 22c, and the fourth location 22d.

[0063] In the same manner, without drying the dedicated dyeing thread 2, using the dyeing pen 10 containing the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue, the liquid dye 5a is dyed at the first location 23a, the second location 23b, the third location 23c, and the fourth location 23d of the dedicated dyeing thread 2.

[0064] At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, the dyeing pen 10 is tapped against the dedicated dyeing thread 2 from the felt 12a side of the felt portion 12. By doing this, the liquid dye 5a stored in the dyeing pen body 11 of the dyeing pen 10 is made to ooze out from the felt 12a to the dedicated dyeing thread 2 side, and the dedicated dyeing thread 2 can be dyed with the liquid dye 5a. Further, since the dedicated dyeing thread 2 contains water in advance, the liquid dye 5a dyed on the dedicated dyeing thread 2 spreads to both sides of each of the first portion 23a, the second portion 23b, the third portion 23c, and the fourth portion 23d.

[0065] In this way, among the bundled dedicated dyeing threads 2 placed on the sheet 25, the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow is dyed on the first portion 21a, the second portion 21b, the third portion 21c, and the fourth portion 21d. Similarly, among the bundled dedicated dyeing threads 2, the liquid dye 4a of cherry red is dyed on the first portion 22a, the second portion 22b, the third portion 22c, and the fourth portion 22d.

[0066] During this time, among the bundled dedicated dyeing threads 2, the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue is dyed on the first portion 23a, the second portion 23b, the third portion 23c, and the fourth portion 23d.

[0067] At the same time, the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, and 5a dyed on the bundled dedicated dyeing threads 2 spread within the dedicated dyeing threads 2 and mix with each other to form a mixed color.

[0068] In this embodiment, the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow and the liquid dye 4a of cherry red mix with each other to form an orange mixed color.

[0069] Also, the liquid dye 4a of cherry red and the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue mix with each other to form a purple mixed color. Further, the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue and the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow mix with each other to form a green mixed color.

[0070] In this way, the bundled dedicated dyeing threads 2 are dyed over the entire circumference by the three liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a and their mixed colors.

[0071] Next, as shown in FIG. 8, the bundle-shaped dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 dyed in multiple colors on the sheet 25 is covered with the cover sheet 26. The dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 is covered with the cover sheet 26, and the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 is sandwiched between the sheet 25 and the cover sheet 26 and left standing (for about 20 minutes). During this time, it is preferable to remove the air between the sheet 25 and the cover sheet 26, and the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 is dried between the sheet 25 and the cover sheet 21. Thereafter, the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 dyed with the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a is washed using a detergent, and then wrung to remove moisture.

[0072] Next, as shown in FIG. 9, a container 30 is prepared and filled with water. Next, the color fit liquid 6a stored in the color fit liquid container 6 is supplied into the water in the container 30 to prepare a mixed liquid of the color fit liquid 6a and water.

[0073] Next, the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 dyed with the above-described liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a is immersed in the mixed liquid of the color fit liquid 6a and water in the container 30 for about 60 minutes.

[0074] Thereby, the liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a dyed on the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 can be stably fixed to the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2.

[0075] Next, the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 is taken out from the container 30, and the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 is suspended from the support 35 indoors and dried.

[0076] In this way, the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 can be dyed with three different liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a using the dyeing pen 10 to produce a dyed yarn dyed with the dyes.

[0077] As described above, according to the present embodiment, the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 is sequentially beaten using three dyeing pens 10 containing three different liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a. Thereby, the user can easily and surely dye the dyeing-exclusive yarn 2 using three different liquid dyes 3a, 4a, 5a.

[0078] In this case, the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2 is preliminarily made to contain moisture, and first, the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow is used to dye the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2 at the first location 21a, the second location 21b, the third location 21c, and the fourth location 21d.

[0079] Next, without drying the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2, the liquid dye 4a of cherry red is used to dye the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2 at the first location 22a, the second location 22b, the third location 22c, and the fourth location 22d. Further, without drying the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2, the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue is used to dye the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2 at the first location 23a, the second location 23b, the third location 23c, and the fourth location 23d.

[0080] In this way, the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow, the liquid dye 4a of cherry red, and the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue can be dyed on the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2 at equal intervals, and the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow and the liquid dye 4a of cherry red can form an orange - colored mixed color. Also, the liquid dye 4a of cherry red and the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue can form a purple - colored mixed color. Further, the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue and the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow can form a green - colored mixed color.

[0081] In this way, the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2 can be dyed in six colors: moon yellow, orange, cherry red, purple, aqua blue, and green, and these six colors can be arranged at equal intervals on the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2.

[0082] Furthermore, by dyeing the dyeing - dedicated yarn 2 with the liquid dye 3a of moon yellow, the liquid dye 4a of cherry red, and the liquid dye 5a of aqua blue in a relatively bright order, each color can be beautifully dyed on the entire dyeing - dedicated yarn 2.
