Abstract
To provide a fuel cell stack that can be manufactured easily and at low cost, and a manufacturing method of the fuel cell stack.SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack includes: a plurality of fuel cell units each including a solid oxide electrolyte layer having oxide ion conductivity, a first electrode layer provided on a first main surface of the electrolyte layer, and a second electrode layer provided on a second main surface of the electrolyte layer; a plurality of interconnectors each including a gas-impermeable metal portion and a gas flow path defined by the metal portion and alternately stacked with the fuel cell units; a seal portion that is provided on a surface of a stacked body including the fuel cell unit and each interconnector so as to extend from the surface of one of the interconnectors sandwiching one of the fuel cell units to the surface of the other interconnector across the electrolyte layer, and has gas sealing properties and insulating properties.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
