Novel heterocycles as sPLA2-X inhibitors

Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds, pharmaceutically acceptable salts of compounds, and pharmaceutical compositions of compounds, or salts thereof, capable of inhibiting secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2-X) enzyme, wherein the compounds are compounds of Formula (I), wherein ring B, R6, Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4 are described herein. The present invention also relates to the use of the compounds, salts, or compositions described herein in methods for inhibiting sPLA2-X enzyme in a sample. The present invention also relates to the use of the compounds, salts, or compositions in methods for treating or reducing the severity of sPLA2-X-mediated diseases in a subject.
