Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus, such as a transmitting user equipment (UE) (e.g., a target UE), that receives sidelink (SL) positioning reference signal (PRS) configurations for multiple resource sets from a base station. The transmitting UE also receives SL-PRS resources at at least one of UE-specific resource element offsets or frequency offsets from an anchor UE. The transmitting UE transmits determined candidate SL-PRS resources for PRS transmission within a resource set of the multiple resource sets to the anchor UE.
