Abstract

To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle capable of accurately determining whether or not regenerative power exceeds charging power acceptable by a battery.SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle is provided with an engine 2, a first motor 4 for generating power by the driving force of the engine 2, a battery 3 charged by the power generated by the first motor 4, a second motor 6 and a rear motor 14 driven by the power generated by the first motor 4 or the power output from the battery 3, and a control part 17 for motoring the engine 2 by the first motor 4 when regenerative power generation is performed during deceleration of the hybrid vehicle 1 and driver required mechanical power which is power required by a driver becomes smaller than battery chargeable power which is power chargeable in the battery 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
