Abstract

Improved watertightness of opening devices. [Solution] The structure comprises an upper frame 1, a vertical frame 2, and a cap 3. The upper frame 1 has its longitudinal end face 1a in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the vertical frame 2. The cap 3 is attached to the upper end of the vertical frame 2 and has a covering portion 4 that covers the upper end face 2a of the vertical frame 2, and an overhanging portion 5 that extends from the covering portion 4 towards the inner circumferential side of the vertical frame 2. The overhanging portion 5 covers the upper surface of the longitudinal end of the upper frame 1, preventing rainwater from entering between the longitudinal end face 1a of the upper frame 1 and the inner circumferential surface of the vertical frame 2.

Claims

[Claim 1] An opening device comprising an upper frame, a vertical frame, and a cap, wherein the upper frame has its longitudinal end face in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the vertical frame, and the cap is attached to the upper end of the vertical frame and has a covering portion that covers the upper end face of the vertical frame and a protruding portion that extends from the covering portion toward the inner circumferential side of the vertical frame, wherein the protruding portion covers the upper surface of the longitudinal end of the upper frame and prevents rainwater from entering between the longitudinal end face of the upper frame and the inner circumferential surface of the vertical frame.
