Abstract

The objective is to obtain a dispersion of surface-hydrophobized inorganic powder in water. This dispersion is easy to handle because the dispersion medium is water. When used in cosmetics, it can be suitably used when surface-hydrophobized inorganic powder is incorporated into water-based cosmetics. [Solution] A dispersion is obtained by uniformly dispersing surface-hydrophobized inorganic powder in water. By using a dispersion that can stably disperse surface-hydrophobized inorganic powder in water by using two or more surfactants having two alkyl chains in combination with a polyhydric alcohol, and by using the aqueous dispersion of said inorganic powder, a cosmetic product is provided that has high water resistance and a refreshing feel.

Claims

[Claim 1] A surface-hydrophobized inorganic powder aqueous dispersion containing the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D) as essential components. (A) Surface hydrophobic treated inorganic powder (B) Two or more selected from the group consisting of dilauroyl glutamate lysine sodium, sebacoylbislauramidylsine disodium, coconut oil alkyl glucoside hydroxypropyl phosphate sodium, and mannosylerythritol lipid, a glycolipid composed of mannose, a sugar alcohol, and a fatty acid, as shown in the following chemical formula (1). (C) Polyhydric alcohol (D) Water 【Chemistry 1】 [Claim 2] The surface-hydrophobized inorganic powder aqueous dispersion according to claim 1, wherein component (A) is an inorganic powder that has been surface-hydrophobized with at least one compound selected from the group consisting of silicone oil, alkoxysilane, and fatty acid. [Claim 3] A cosmetic composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of surface-hydrophobized inorganic powder as described in claim 1 or claim 2.
