Abstract

To provide a base fabric for seam felt that enables diverse laminate structures, resulting in papermaking felt with high productivity, improved smoothness, and no risk of opening. [Solution] A base fabric for seam felt, formed by winding a single end-shaped base fabric at two winding sections and stacking it in a certain direction, wherein the end-shaped base fabric has a first end and a second end in a certain direction, and when the end-shaped base fabric is divided into a first stacked section and a second stacked section by a plane penetrating the tops of the two winding sections, at least one of the first stacked section and the second stacked section has two or more layers of the end-shaped base fabric.

Claims

1. A single ended base fabric is wound at two winding points, resulting in a winding and lamination in a specific direction. The ended base fabric has a first end and a second end in the aforementioned certain direction. A seam felt base fabric, wherein when the end-shaped base fabric is divided into a first laminated section and a second laminated section by a plane that penetrates the tops of the two winding sections, at least one of the first laminated section and the second laminated section contains two or more layers of the end-shaped base fabric.

2. The base fabric for seam felt according to claim 1, wherein the first end and the second end are ubiquitously distributed in either the first laminated portion or the second laminated portion.

3. The base fabric for seam felt according to claim 1, wherein the first end and the second end are not ubiquitous in either the first laminated portion or the second laminated portion.

4. The seam felt base fabric according to claim 1, wherein the first end and the second end are located on a line perpendicular to a plane that penetrates the tops of the two winding portions.

5. The seam felt base fabric according to claim 1, wherein two or more layers of the ended base fabric are present at the tops of both of the two winding portions.

6. The seam felt base fabric according to claim 1, wherein the distance between at least one selected from the first end and the second end and at least one of the tops of the two winding portions is less than 5 cm.

7. The seam felt base fabric according to claim 1, wherein the first end and the second end are joined to the ended base fabric.

8. The seam felt base fabric according to claim 7, wherein the first end and the second end are joined to the ended base fabric by at least one selected from straight stitching and zigzag stitching.

9. The seam felt base fabric according to claim 1, further comprising a base fabric as the outermost layer.

10. A felt for papermaking, wherein the base fabric for seam felt according to any one of claims 1 to 9 is joined together via seams formed at the two winding portions.

11. A step of winding at the two winding portions in the seam felt base fabric according to any one of claims 1 to 9, A method for manufacturing felt for papermaking, comprising the steps of removing the outermost CD yarn from the two winding sections and forming seam loops, in this order.
