Claims
1. An ophthalmic composition for the prevention, improvement, or treatment of ophthalmic symptoms or eye diseases associated with a decrease in the elasticity of the lens, comprising glycyrrhizic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (A) as an active ingredient.
2. An ophthalmic composition for the prevention, improvement, or treatment of ophthalmic symptoms or diseases associated with a decline in the eye's accommodative function, comprising glycyrrhizic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (A) as an active ingredient.
3. The ophthalmic composition for prevention, improvement, or treatment according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the aforementioned ophthalmic symptoms or ophthalmic disease are presbyopia.
4. The ophthalmic composition for prevention, improvement, or treatment according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the aforementioned ophthalmic symptoms or ophthalmic disease are ophthalmic symptoms or ophthalmic diseases associated with a decrease in the ability to focus.

The ophthalmic composition according to claim 10, further comprising one or more selected from drugs other than component (A) and component (B), polyhydric alcohols, surfactants, sugars, buffers, pH adjusters, isotonic agents, stabilizers, cooling agents, viscosity enhancers, preservatives, and oil components, and water.
