Abstract

The aerosol generator includes a chamber for storing liquid-phase aerosol-generating material, a main body including a partition wall facing the chamber, a conductive member provided on one side of the chamber facing the partition wall, and a level sensor for detecting the amount of liquid-phase aerosol-generating material stored in the chamber. The level sensor applies an electric current to the conductive member and measures a voltage value that changes according to the volume of liquid-phase aerosol-generating material, thereby detecting the amount of liquid-phase aerosol-generating material.

Claims

1. Aerosol generator, A chamber for storing liquid-phase aerosol-generating material, A main body including a partition wall facing the chamber, A conductive member provided on one surface of the chamber facing the partition wall, The chamber includes a level sensor for detecting the amount of aerosol-generating substance in the liquid phase, The level sensor is an aerosol generator that applies an electric current to the conductive member, measures a voltage value that changes according to the volume of the aerosol-generating substance in the liquid phase, and detects the amount of the aerosol-generating substance in the liquid phase.

2. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the level sensor is arranged opposite to the conductive member and includes an electrode unit for applying current to the conductive member.

3. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the conductive member is in the shape of a bar extending along the direction in which the chamber extends.

4. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the conductive member includes a first conductive region and a second conductive region arranged at a distance from each other.

5. The aerosol generator according to claim 4, wherein the first conductive region and the second conductive region are arranged parallel to each other.

6. The aerosol generator according to claim 4, wherein the first conductive region and the second conductive region have the same shape as each other.

7. The aerosol generator further includes at least one processor that receives detection results from the level sensor and controls the operation of the aerosol generator. The aerosol generator according to claim 4, wherein the at least one processor receives the detection results for the first conductive region and the second conductive region, respectively, and corrects the detection results of the level sensor.

8. The aerosol generator according to claim 7, wherein the at least one processor corrects the detection result of the level sensor to the average value of the detection results for the first conductive region and the second conductive region, respectively.

9. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the conductive member further includes an insulating region provided between the first conductive region and the second conductive region.

10. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the conductive member has a shape that extends by being bent at least once along the direction in which the chamber extends.

11. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the conductive member is coupled to the chamber in a structure that protrudes from one surface of the chamber.

12. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the chamber includes a groove region formed on one surface to which the conductive member is bonded, and which accommodates the conductive member.

13. The aerosol generator according to claim 12, wherein the conductive member is arranged inside the groove region such that the one surface of the chamber and the conductive member form a flat surface.

14. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the chamber is made of a conductive resin, a conductive polymer, or a conductive organic chemical.

15. The aerosol generating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the chamber is made of a conductive material that has relatively lower conductivity than the conductive member.
