A welding jig and a welding apparatus equipped therewith, wherein the welding jig comprises a fixing base for fixing a battery cell, and at least one press plate detachably fixed to the fixing base for pressing the tabs of the battery cell against the pole column, the press plate having a bypass through-hole provided opposite to the welding area of ​​the tab and pole column, and a ventilation passage communicating with the bypass through-hole and leading shielding gas into the bypass through-hole. The technical solution of the embodiment of the present application has advantages such as suppressing the scattering of welding slag in the welding area of ​​the pole column and tab, and being able to remove welding slag on the pole column and tab, thereby reducing the amount of welding slag remaining in the welding area of ​​the pole column and tab, further reducing the possibility of welding slag entering the inside of the battery cell, and improving welding quality.
