Abstract

We offer pet urine mats with a function to indicate occult blood. [Solution] The mat comprises, from top to bottom, a surface layer 1 made of tear-resistant material, an occult blood indicator layer 2 made of occult blood test paper, an absorbent layer 3 made of absorbent material, and a base layer 4 made of leak-proof material. The pet urine mat of this invention allows for easy and intuitive observation of whether or not occult blood is present in the pet's urine, thereby enabling monitoring of the pet's health.

Claims

1. 2. The pet urine mat according to claim 1, characterized in that when pet urine penetrates the occult blood indicator layer (2), the occult blood indicator layer (2) displays a specific color if the urine contains occult blood.

3. The surface layer (1) and the base layer (4) have perfectly matching planar dimensions. The planar dimensions of the water-absorbing layer (3) are smaller than those of the surface layer (1) and the base layer (4), and it is positioned in the center. The pet urine mat according to claim 1, characterized in that the surface layer (1) and the portion of the base layer (4) that does not overlap with the absorbent layer (3) are joined together.

4. The pet urine mat according to claim 3, characterized in that the planar dimensions of the occult blood indicator layer (2) perfectly match the planar dimensions of the water-absorbing layer (3).

5. The pet urine mat according to claim 1, further comprising an absorbent material fixing layer including an upper fixing layer (6) and a lower fixing layer (7) provided on both the upper and lower sides of the absorbent layer (3).

6. The pet urine mat according to claim 5, characterized in that an absorbent layer (3) and an absorbent material fixing layer are pressed together, and recessed flow guide grooves (8) are formed at each of the pressed-together portions.

7. The pet urine mat according to claim 6, characterized in that the recessed flow guide groove (8) extends in the form of a rhomboid unit.
