Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an elongated warmer that can be used by being wrapped around the neck, wrist, or waist and legs, etc.
Background Art
[0002] In recent years, when it comes to warmers, disposable warmers are used. In cold winters, they can be pasted on appropriate parts of the body to warm the body. By the way, among warmers, as a filler, there are iron powder, water, activated carbon, wood powder, and salts. The main component is iron powder that generates heat by rusting (oxidizing), and the other components support oxidation, and they are formulated in a way that appropriate temperature and duration can be obtained.
[0003] Conventional disposable warmers are rectangular and can be pasted on the required parts. (1) Neck Since there are thick blood vessels in the neck, warming the neck can efficiently warm the whole body. And when the neck is bent forward, there is Dazhui where a bone protrudes between the neck and the back. By pasting a warmer on this Dazhui, the whole body can be warmed. (2) Back There is a large muscle called the trapezius muscle from the shoulders to the back. When this trapezius muscle gets cold, blood flow deteriorates and the muscle becomes stiff. In such a case, it is advisable to warm the area between the shoulder blades. (3) Stomach There is an acupoint called Qihai slightly below the navel. Warming this area can warm the whole body that is chilled. (4) Waist and buttocks The waist is a place where discomfort due to cold is easily felt. There is an acupoint called Mingmen directly behind the navel, and there is an acupoint called Shenshu slightly outside from there. Pasting a warmer to cover this area can warm the whole waist. (5) Feet Among the feet that are prone to getting cold, especially the fingertips are the points to be warmed. To warm the whole body, it is effective to warm the area around the ankle where there are thick blood vessels. Behind the inner ankle bone, in the hollow between it and the Achilles tendon, there is an acupuncture point called Taixi, which is said to be good for combating coldness.
[0004] The areas where you can apply a heat pack are not limited to the cases mentioned above; how you use a heat pack is entirely up to the individual who purchased it. Thus, conventional disposable hand warmers are rectangular in shape, come in various sizes (length and width), and can be attached to the desired area such as the neck, shoulders, or lower back. Of course, disposable hand warmers that aren't adhesive are also known, but regardless of the type, the area they can warm is limited, and they often cannot be attached to surfaces.
[0005] For example, conventional rectangular disposable heat packs are inconvenient for warming the entire circumference of the neck. Similarly, it's inconvenient when warming your wrists or ankles. For example, if you try to warm your neck by sticking multiple heat packs around it, it will become too hot. Furthermore, conventional heat packs are not suitable for warming the area around the eyes to relieve eye strain. Incidentally, numerous patent applications and utility model registration applications have been filed for disposable hand warmers over the years.
[0006] The "neck cooling / warming scarf" described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2022-18041 allows for the insertion of a cooling pack or a warming pack such as a hand warmer into the band portion, and when folded in half and wrapped around the neck, the band portion stands up like a collar, allowing for a beautiful wrap. At the same time, it can cool or warm the neck depending on the season, and the band portion has multiple layers to prevent burns, ensuring safe wear.
[0007] The "pelvic belt" described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2015-83109 is designed to allow a disposable heat pack to be securely attached to the inside or outside of the belt body. In other words, the pelvic belt body is covered with a cylindrical holder made of sheet material so as to wrap around the belt body from the inside and outside at an appropriate point along its length, the space between the cylindrical holder and the belt body is used as a storage area for storing a disposable heat pack, and the disposable heat pack is stored and removed from the side of the cylindrical holder, and ventilation is ensured from both ends of the cylindrical holder along its length into the storage area between the holder and the belt body. [Patent Document 1] "Neck-cooling and heat-retaining scarf" related to Japanese Patent Publication No. 2022-18041 [Patent Document 2] "Pelvic belt" related to Japanese Patent Publication No. 2015-83109 [Disclosure of the Invention] [Problems that the invention aims to solve]
[0008] During colder months, the consumption of disposable hand warmers becomes enormous. These hand warmers can be directly attached to suitable areas of the body or wrapped around the body while housed in some kind of attachment. However, conventional, large, rectangular disposable hand warmers often cannot be attached to limited areas of the body. The problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a long, slender hand warmer that can be wrapped around and attached to various parts of the body, unlike conventional rectangular disposable hand warmers. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] The elongated hand warmer according to this invention can be bent, making it possible to wrap it around the body for use. Incidentally, hand warmers contain heat-generating components as fillers, and generally, iron powder, water, activated carbon, wood powder, and salts are used, but the specific components are not limited to these. The main component is iron powder, which generates heat through oxidation, and the other components play a role in supporting oxidation.
[0010] Therefore, the elongated hand warmer of this invention has partitions in various places so that it can be wrapped around the wrist, neck, waist, legs, etc., and is in a form in which multiple hand warmer sections filled with a material are connected in a bag. Furthermore, this elongated hand warmer is equipped with an attachment device, and both ends of the elongated hand warmer and the attachment device are connected via a connecting means. Here, the specific structure of the attachment device is not limited, but a length adjustment mechanism is provided at the end of the string so that the length can be easily adjusted.
[0011] The attachment is not integrated with the elongated hand warmer, but is designed to connect to both ends of the elongated hand warmer via connecting means. In other words, if the heat output from the elongated hand warmer decreases over time, it is possible to replace it with another elongated hand warmer and continue using the same attachment. For example, clips can be attached to both ends of the attachment device, allowing it to be connected to the end of a long, slender hand warmer. [Effects of the Invention]
[0012] The elongated hand warmer according to this invention can be bent and therefore can be wrapped around the wrist, neck, waist, and legs. The elongated hand warmer is equipped with an attachment, which allows it to be wrapped around a suitable part of the body. The attachment has an adjustable string, so the length of the string can be easily adjusted while the elongated hand warmer is wrapped around a suitable part of the body. Therefore, the wrapped, elongated heat pack can be securely attached to the body without falling off or shifting position.
[0013] Unlike conventional rectangular disposable heat packs that are applied to the shoulders or lower back, these have a different purpose. When wrapped around the neck, they provide a comfortable warmth that can improve blood flow to the neck. Similarly, wrapping them around the wrists or ankles can improve blood flow to the hands and feet. The elongated heat pack has multiple heat pack sections, each containing a filling material, connected by a partition, allowing it to be easily wrapped around not only the wrist and neck, but also in limited, narrow spaces.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0015] FIG. 1 is an embodiment showing the elongated kairo 1 of the present invention, where (a) is a plan view and (b) is a front view respectively. 2 in the figure is the kairo part, 3 is the partition part, and the elongated kairo 1 shown in the figure has a plurality of kairo parts 2, 2 ···, and the kairo parts 2, 2 ··· are connected by the partition parts 3, 3 ···. The kairo part 2 has an elliptical cross-section instead of a circular one, so it is easy to bend. Also, the partition part 3 has both sides of the bag 5 in close contact and no filler 4, so it can be bent. Therefore, the elongated hand warmer 1 has partition sections 3,3... that are appropriately curved and bendable, allowing it to be wrapped around the wrist, ankle, etc.
[0016] The hand warmer section 2 is constructed by containing a filler 4 in a sealed bag 5. The filler 4 mainly contains iron powder, which generates heat when oxidized, and is mixed with other components that support oxidation, such as activated carbon, wood powder, and salts. However, the specific components of the filler 5 are not limited. As shown in Figure 2, which illustrates the cross-section AA of Figure 1, the bag 5 contains multiple hand warmer sections 2, 2... which are connected via partition sections 3, 3....
[0017] By the way, there are various ways to make the elongated hand warmer 1 of this invention, but there are no particular limitations. For example, individual independent bags 5,5... can be filled with a filler 4,4... to form hand warmer sections 2,2..., and the ends of these hand warmer sections 2,2... can be joined together by bonding them with partition sections 3,3... made of another sheet.
[0018] Alternatively, a rectangular sheet can be used, folded (rolled) to form a long tube, a certain amount of filler 4,4... is placed in the tube to form the hand warmer sections 2,2..., and partition sections 3,3... are provided between each hand warmer section 2,2... to form a long, slender hand warmer 1. The partition section 3 is made by gluing the opposing surfaces of a folded (rolled) cylinder together, and functions to prevent the contained filler 4 from moving. For this reason, the length dimension M of the partition section 3 is made relatively large.
[0019] Figure 3 is an enlarged view of the BB cross-section of Figure 1. The hand warmer section 2 has a roughly oval cross-section and is relatively thin, making it easy to wrap around the neck or torso. When the rectangular sheet 6 is folded to form a tube, a rim 7 is provided, and this rim 7 has a width that prevents it from peeling off. In other words, a rectangular sheet 6 is folded to form a tube, and bags 5, 5... are formed at regular intervals along the length, with fillers 4, 4... contained in each of these bags 5, 5....
[0020] The packing material 4,4... is contained in the bags 5,5... to form the packing section 2,2.... However, to prevent the packing material 4,4... from leaking out of the bags 5,5... and from flowing into the adjacent bag 5, the bags 5,5... are provided with edges 7,7... and partitions 3,3..., giving the overall shape a long, slender form. In other words, it is shaped to be easily wrapped around the body.
[0021] Figure 4 shows an example of a combination of a long, narrow hand warmer 1 and an attachment device 8. The attachment device 8 has clips 10, 10 attached to both ends of two folded strings 9, 9, and a length adjustment slider 11 is located in the middle of the strings 9, 9. The length adjustment slider 11 is a ball with a hole passing through its center, through which two folded strings 9, 9 are inserted. As the length adjustment slider 11 moves along the strings 9, 9, the length to the clips 10, 10 changes. Here, the length adjustment slider 11 moves along the strings 9, 9, but it has a certain degree of frictional resistance. In addition, the strings 9 can also have some elasticity.
[0022] Therefore, the circumference of the elongated heat pack 1 connected to both straps 9,9 changes depending on the position of the length adjustment slider 11. Whether wrapping it around the waist, a slender wrist, or ankle, the elongated heat pack 1 can be worn on the body without being loose by changing the position of the length adjustment slider 11. Incidentally, the attachment device 8 shown in Figure 4 has clip parts 10, 10 at the ends of both strings 9, 9, and connects to the elongated hand warmer 1 by clipping the tip of the clip parts 10, 10. However, in this invention, the specific means of connecting the strings 9, 9 of the attachment device 8 to the tip of the elongated hand warmer is not limited to the clip parts 10, 10.
[0023] For example, it is possible to create a hole at the tip of the elongated hand warmer 1 and attach a key to the end of the string that can be locked into this hole. Figures 5 to 12 illustrate a specific method by which the elongated heat pack 1 according to the present invention is attached to the body via the attachment device 8. Figure 5 shows the case where the elongated heat pack 1 is worn around the neck 12. Here, the length adjustment slider 11 is in a loose position at the bottom, but if the length adjustment slider 11 slides to the neck, the elongated heat pack 1 will be stable without shifting position. Since there are large blood vessels in the neck 12, warming the neck 12 with the elongated heat pack 1 will efficiently warm the entire body.
[0024] Figure 6 shows a case where a long, thin heat pack 1 is wrapped around the waist 13, with the heat pack 1 positioned on the back side of the waist 13. Because the waist circumference is large, the length of the long, thin heat pack 1 is long, and the length of the strings 9,9 of the attachment device 8 is also long, and it is tightened with the length adjustment slider 11 to prevent it from slipping off when wrapped around the waist 13. The length adjustment slider 11 is in contact with the abdomen. The example shown in Figure 7 shows the heat pack wrapped around the waist 13, similar to the case in Figure 6, but the elongated heat pack 1 is positioned on the abdominal side rather than the back.
[0025] Figure 8 shows an example of use where the device is attached to the ankle 14. The ankle 14 is thinner than the waist, and therefore the elongated heat pack 1 is wrapped around it multiple times. Of course, if a shorter elongated heat pack 1 is used, it may not be necessary to wrap it multiple times. Figure 9 shows an example of use when attached to the knee 15. In this case, as with the case where it is wrapped around the ankle 14, the elongated heat pack 1 is wrapped multiple times, and the length adjustment slider 11 is positioned on the inside of the knee 15 and tightened to prevent it from becoming loose.
[0026] Figure 10 shows an example of use where the device is worn on the wrist 16. The wrist 16 is even thinner than the ankle 14, and therefore the elongated heat pack 1 is wrapped around it multiple times. Figure 11 shows the case where the elongated heat pack 1 is worn by placing it on the eyes and temples. When working in front of a computer for long periods of time, the eyes often become tired, and in such cases, warming the eyes by placing the elongated heat pack 1 on them can relieve eye strain. The elongated heat pack 1 is attached to the back of the head by a mounting device 8, and the length adjustment slider 11 is in contact with the head, so the elongated heat pack 1 is worn stably without slipping off.
[0027] Figure 12 shows an example of using the elongated heat pack 1 by placing it on the front of the head (forehead). If you feel tired from office work, warming your forehead with the elongated heat pack 1 can alleviate fatigue. In this case as well, a mounting device 8 is provided at the back of the head, and the length adjustment slider 11 is brought into contact with the head, so that the elongated heat pack 1 is securely attached to the forehead.
