Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a new aerosol detergent composition for use in cleaning various vehicles, conveyances, and transport means, such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, railway vehicles, and ships, and for removing grease adhering to the details of various vehicle parts and control devices, such as the bodies, brake parts, suspensions, and wheels, of various vehicles, conveyances, and transport means; the aerosol detergent composition is non-flammable and has a low risk of ignition and fire, and is therefore non-hazardous under the Fire Service Act, so no hazardous material warehouse is required, and there is no legal limit on the storage amount of the detergent composition for large-scale use; it also has excellent properties such as low toxicity and small environmental load, such as ozone layer depletion; and furthermore, it has excellent properties such as cleaning ability, drying ability, and dirt redeposition prevention ability equal to or greater than those of conventional detergent compositions. [Background technology]

[0002] In various vehicles, vehicles, and transport facilities such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, railroad vehicles, and ships, various parts and devices such as bodies, brakes, suspensions, and wheels are manufactured using metals and various resins. In recent years, composite materials that combine metals with resins have also been used to reduce weight and improve decorativeness. When oil or dirt adheres to the surfaces of these parts and devices during use, the intended performance and decorativeness are reduced, and depending on the attached components, the metal surface may corrode and the intended performance and decorativeness may be irreversibly impaired. In addition, oils such as grease are applied to necessary parts of vehicles, vehicles, and transport facilities to make each device move smoothly. However, these oils gradually flow out to unintended parts due to air flow and rainwater being sprayed on them while driving, and oils that flow out from other vehicles, vehicles, and transport facilities are picked up from the road surface together with dirt, and adhere to various parts of the vehicles, vehicles, and transport facilities, causing a decrease in the intended performance of various parts and devices. In particular, in friction brake devices that use brake shoes with brake linings, which are widely used in vehicles, transportation, and other vehicles, as brake elements on rotating bodies such as brake discs and brake drums, the adhesion of oil reduces the coefficient of friction, and furthermore, the brake linings become more susceptible to wear and dust, which causes the braking performance to decrease. Therefore, it has become necessary to carry out regular maintenance work and clean the oil and dirt that has penetrated and adhered to the fine details of these parts and devices.

[0003] In addition, if oil or other substances remain on the surfaces of parts and devices during assembly and manufacturing of vehicles, vehicles, and transportation facilities, or during reassembly after inspection, the resins and paints will not adhere stably and will peel off or change in quality, resulting in a significant decrease in product quality. In addition, for parts and devices that are particularly important for ensuring safety during operation, such as brakes, suspensions, and wheels, the coefficient of friction will decrease if oil or other substances remain on them, and if they are assembled in this state, the braking performance will be impaired, making it impossible to stably demonstrate the desired performance. Therefore, when assembling and manufacturing vehicles, vehicles, and transportation facilities, or reassembling after inspection, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and remove the oil that has adhered to the surfaces of each part.

[0004] Therefore, in the past, cleaning compositions containing trichloroethane as the main ingredient, which has cleaning properties, were developed as cleaning compositions for the bodies, brake parts, suspensions, wheels, etc. of various vehicles, vehicles, and transports, and were used to clean vehicles, vehicles, and transports. However, trichloroethane is toxic, and in the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, which came into effect under the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer, the production and consumption of trichloroethane in contracting countries was gradually reduced and completely phased out in 1996, and export and import of trichloroethane with non-contracting countries of the protocol was prohibited or restricted. For this reason, the use of cleaning compositions using trichloroethane has come to be avoided.

[0005] Therefore, cleaning compositions and aerosol products thereof have been proposed and used, which are based on C6 petroleum hydrocarbons such as isohexane and cyclohexane, and have been adjusted in cleaning properties, drying properties, and boiling points by adding alcohols such as ethanol and isopropyl alcohol. However, the above petroleum hydrocarbons and alcohols are both highly flammable and are regulated as hazardous materials under the Fire Service Act, so that a hazardous materials warehouse is required for storage, which is costly. In addition, even if a hazardous materials warehouse is available, the amount that can be stored is limited. In particular, most of the above cleaning compositions are classified as Class 4, Class 1 petroleum products, but the designated amount of Class 4, Class 1 petroleum products that can be stored in one warehouse under the law is set low, so that facilities using the cleaning composition can only store a small amount of the cleaning composition, despite the large amount of use, and improvement of this problem has been required. In addition, when an aerosol product of the cleaning composition is sprayed vigorously during work, a large amount of the highly flammable cleaning composition may soak into the gloves or clothes of the worker, but the cleaning composition is highly flammable, and if it is not dried sufficiently afterwards, there is a risk of fire due to static electricity or cigarette fire, so improvements have been required to avoid the use of these highly flammable components in order to ensure safety in the work environment. Furthermore, although the above-mentioned hydrocarbons are not toxic like trichloroethane, there is a risk of hydrocarbon poisoning if inhaled in excess, so they must be used in a ventilated environment such as outdoors or indoors with a ventilation system, and a warning to that effect is also included in the product. However, since an aerosol product is used, vaporized hydrocarbons flow not only in the workplace but also downwind, and there remains a risk of people inhaling them, so improvements have been required.

[0006] Halogen-based solvents are generally well known as solvents that do not have a flash point, but chlorine-based and bromine-based solvents are difficult to use in cleaning compositions because of their harmfulness and production and use restrictions. Therefore, as a way to solve the problems of storage volume and ensuring safety, high flash point products using petroleum-based hydrocarbons with a long carbon number and water-based products containing carbitol, alcohol, etc. as cleaning components have been proposed (see Patent Document 1). However, the above-mentioned water-based composition has a very poor drying time, taking 30 to 40 minutes to dry (see Patent Document 1), so the liquid of the water-based composition tends to remain around the brakes after use, and if the brakes are used with the liquid remaining, it will have a serious effect such as a decrease in braking force. Therefore, a work process of sufficient drying after cleaning is necessary, which is troublesome, and improvement was required. Furthermore, since it is water-based, it has inferior cleaning properties compared to conventional brake cleaner cleaning compositions, and depending on the type of dirt, it does not necessarily have sufficient cleaning performance, so there are limitations on the scenes of use, and improvement was required to make it more versatile.

[0007] On the other hand, as an aerosol product aimed at cleaning metal materials, the applicant has proposed using a foaming dirt remover in which the cleaning ingredients do not scatter around but remain on the metal surface, as a product for removing dirt from metal surfaces with recesses such as dies (Patent Document 2). However, the above-proposed product is water-based, and the dirt remover foams and remains on the metal surface, so it is necessary to wipe off the foamed dirt remover together with the dirt with a rag, and when applied to cleaning assembled products such as braking devices such as brakes for various vehicles, conveyances, and transport facilities, the process becomes extremely complicated, a large amount of waste is generated, and it is difficult to mechanize the cleaning, so further improvements are required.

[0008] (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is also known as a solvent that can be used to clean metals. However, (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene has strong corrosive properties against resins and elastomers (Non-Patent Document 1), and it is necessary to thoroughly examine the situation in which it is used. In particular, braking devices such as brakes, lights, windows, etc. are important parts that require high safety in various vehicles, vehicles, and transportation facilities such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machines, agricultural machines, aircraft, railway vehicles, and ships, and various resins and elastomers such as polycarbonate, acrylic, ABS, polystyrene, silicone rubber, natural rubber, HNBR, NBR, fluororubber, and urethane rubber are used in combination with the main components made of metal. For example, brakes are controlled by the hydraulic pressure of brake fluid, and the brake fluid is generally filled in a rubber hose that connects between devices made of metal. However, (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene devitrifies polycarbonate, which is used together with metal in the important parts of the above-mentioned vehicles, vehicles, and transport systems, dissolves acrylic, ABS, and polystyrene, and swells silicone rubber, natural rubber, HNBR, NBR, fluororubber, and urethane rubber (Non-Patent Document 1). Therefore, there is concern that the safety of important parts of vehicles, vehicles, and transport systems may be reduced if they come into contact with a large amount of (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene.

[0009] [Patent Document 1] JP 2001-207199 A [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 5121130 [Non-Patent Document 1] 1233Z Excellent environmental performance, high cleaning power Next-generation fluorine-based solvent Central Glass Co., Ltd. Catalog publication date October 2015 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0010] The problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a new aerosol composition for cleaning various vehicles, vehicles and transport means such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, railway vehicles and ships, which has low flammability, low risk in the event of a fire, is classified as a non-hazardous material under the Fire Service Act, does not require a hazardous material warehouse, is not subject to legal restrictions on the storage amount of a cleaning composition used in large quantities, is low in toxicity and has small environmental impact such as ozone layer depletion, has cleaning performance equal to or better than that of conventional products that has not been achieved by high flash point products or water-based products, achieves appropriate drying properties, is capable of wetting and washing away dirt components with the cleaning composition while preventing erosion of rubber and resin, and can be sprayed from a certain distance, thereby being compatible with mechanization. [Means for solving the problem]

[0011] The inventors of the present application have been investigating the physical properties and cleaning properties of various compounds and compositions in order to provide a new aerosol composition for cleaning vehicles, conveyances, and transport systems that solves the above-mentioned problems, and have confirmed that when (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, which is a component that can be used for cleaning metals but is known to cause serious problems such as deterioration, devitrification, and dissolution of resins and elastomers, is made into an aerosol composition using LPG, which is frequently used as the propellant gas for aerosol compositions, the LPG volatilizes immediately after spraying, and the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene becomes fine droplets and spreads over a wide area, causing the cleaning component (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene itself to volatilize quickly, making cleaning difficult, and that in order to maintain a solution state, a very large amount of the aerosol composition needs to be continuously sprayed, but the spray site freezes and moisture adheres to it, causing problems. Furthermore, it was confirmed that (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene adheres to a wide range of resins and elastomers used in important parts such as the brakes and other braking devices of vehicles, conveyances, and transport, which require a high level of safety, raising serious concerns that the resins and elastomers will be eroded and the safety of important parts of vehicles, conveyances, and transports will be reduced, making its application to aerosol compositions for cleaning vehicles, conveyances, and transports unsuitable.

[0012] However, when N2, compressed air, or CO2 is used as the propellant gas, the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is surprisingly maintained in a solution state without volatilizing immediately after spraying, and the aerosol composition after spraying does not turn into fine droplets and spread over a wide area, but can be delivered as a rod-shaped solution concentrated to a narrow area. In other words, it is possible to spray from a long distance and pinpoint contaminated areas to wash them away with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, making it possible to clean contaminated areas of metal parts of important parts such as braking devices for vehicles, conveyances, and transportation, while avoiding resins and elastomers, and thus completing the present invention.

[0013] The first means of the present invention for solving the above problems is an aerosol composition for cleaning various vehicles, conveyances and transport means such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, railway vehicles and ships, characterized by containing (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and a propellant gas which is N2, compressed air, CO2, argon or a mixture of two or more of them.

[0014] The second aspect of the present invention for solving the above problems is the cleaning aerosol composition according to the first aspect, characterized in that it is used as a brake cleaner for various vehicles, conveyances, and transport means, such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, railway vehicles, and ships.

[0015] The cleaning method using the cleaning aerosol composition of the present invention is a method for cleaning various vehicles, conveyances and transportation means, which uses N2, compressed air, CO2, argon or a mixture of two or more of them as a propellant gas and (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene as a cleaning component, by spraying the nonflammable aerosol composition for cleaning various vehicles, conveyances and transportation means as a cleaning component to clean the various vehicles, conveyances and transportation means.

[0016] Another cleaning method using the cleaning aerosol composition of the present invention is a cleaning method for braking systems of various vehicles, vehicles and transports, which comprises spraying a nonflammable aerosol composition for cleaning various vehicles, vehicles and transports as a cleaning component against the braking systems of various vehicles, vehicles and transports to clean them, the nonflammable aerosol composition for cleaning various vehicles, vehicles and transports being characterized in that N2, compressed air, CO2, argon or a mixture of two or more of them is used as the propellant gas and (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is used as a cleaning component.

[0017] The method for adjusting the spraying state of a cleaning aerosol composition of the present invention is a method for adjusting the spraying state of a cleaning aerosol composition for various vehicles, conveyances and transport means, which contains N2 and CO2 in the propellant gas in a mass ratio of N2:CO2=0:100 to 100:0 and contains (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene as a cleaning component.

[0018] In addition, the cleaning aerosol composition of the present invention is a rare gas other than argon, or a rare gas other than N2, compressed air, CO2, or the rare gas other than argon. Except for Argon The nonflammable aerosol composition for cleaning various vehicles, conveyances and transportations is characterized in that it uses a mixture of at least one kind of rare gas as a propellant gas, uses (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene as a cleaning component and does not contain an HFE-based nonflammable fluorine-based solvent in a mass ratio ((Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene / HFE-based nonflammable fluorine-based solvent) in the range of 30 / 70 to 99 / 1; and the nonflammable cleaning aerosol composition is characterized in that it is used as a brake cleaner for various vehicles, conveyances and transportations. Effect of the Invention

[0019] (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene blended in the aerosol composition of the present invention has no flash point and is non-flammable. Therefore, the aerosol composition of the present invention has low risk of ignition and fire risk in its usage environment. Since (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is a non-hazardous material under the Fire Service Act, no hazardous material warehouse is required, and there is no legal limit on the storage amount of the cleaning composition used in large quantities. In addition, each of the above components has low toxicity and low environmental load such as ozone layer destruction, making it a product that is considerate of the human body and the environment.

[0020] On the other hand, when (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is used as a cleaning composition by applying it and wiping it off with a rag, it dries too quickly, so oily components tend to remain on the area to be cleaned, and there is a concern that the cleaning results will vary depending on the technique and skill of the worker, and there is a problem that excessive amounts of solvent will be used to reduce the effects of overdrying. Also, if it is immersed, it will corrode the resins and elastomers used in important parts of vehicles, vehicles, and transportation, raising a strong concern that the safety of the important parts will be reduced, so such a method of use is not possible. Furthermore, when LPG, which is frequently used in aerosol compositions, is used as the propellant gas, LPG volatilizes immediately after spraying, and (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene becomes fine droplets that spread over a wide area and volatilize quickly, making cleaning difficult. Therefore, if an attempt is made to maintain a solution state by continuing to spray a very large amount of the aerosol composition, there is a strong concern that the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution that has spread over a wide area will adhere to resins and elastomers used in important parts of vehicles, conveyances, and transportation, eroding the resins and elastomers and reducing the safety of the important parts. It has therefore become clear that the application of LPG to aerosol compositions for cleaning vehicles, conveyances, and transportation is unsuitable.

[0021] However, the aerosol composition of the present invention contains N2, compressed air, CO2, argon or a mixture of two or more of them as a propellant gas in the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene having the above problems, so that (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene does not volatilize immediately after spraying and remains in a solution state. The aerosol composition after spraying can be delivered in a concentrated rod-like solution in a narrow range without spreading over a wide area as fine droplets, that is, it can be sprayed from a long distance to pinpoint the contaminated area and wash it off with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, and it is possible to clean the contaminated areas of the metal parts of important parts such as braking devices such as brakes for vehicles, vehicles, and transportation, avoiding resins and elastomers, which is an extremely useful and remarkable effect. In addition, the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene aerosol composition of the present invention has a suitable drying time, so that the oil and fat components adhering to the area to be cleaned can be dissolved and then properly washed away, and furthermore, the area after cleaning can be quickly dried, which is a remarkable effect. In addition, even if the distance from the nozzle of the aerosol composition to the object to be cleaned is sufficiently secured, the aerosol composition can be delivered in a concentrated manner to a narrow area as a rod-shaped solution without spreading over a wide area as fine droplets, so that it is possible to spray the aerosol composition from a distant location to clean the area without disassembling the vehicle, vehicle, or transport to expose the device to be cleaned and approaching the area to be cleaned, and it also has an excellent effect of facilitating mechanization of the cleaning process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0022] The cleaning composition and aerosol composition thereof according to the present invention will be described with reference to the following description of the best mode for carrying out the present invention.

[0023] <About the main ingredients> The main components of the aerosol composition of the present invention will be described. The aerosol composition of the present invention contains (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene as a cleaning agent component, and N2, compressed air, CO2, argon, or a mixture of two or more of them as a propellant gas.

[0024] The above-mentioned (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene causes deterioration, devitrification, or dissolution of resins and elastomers (Non-Patent Document 1), and therefore is not preferred for use as a component of cleaning agents using resins and elastomers by coating, immersion, etc. In addition, when (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, which is unsuitable as a component to be blended in such cleaning agent compositions, is made into an aerosol composition by adding LPG, which is frequently used in conventional aerosol compositions, as a propellant gas, the LPG volatilizes immediately after spraying. As a result, (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene turns into fine droplets that spread over a wide area and evaporate quickly, making cleaning difficult. In addition, if the amount sprayed is increased in an attempt to address this issue, not only will (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, which can cause deterioration, devitrification, or dissolution of resins and elastomers, adhere to a wide area, but the affected areas will also freeze and become moist, making it unsuitable for use in cleaning important parts such as brakes for vehicles, conveyances, and transportation systems that also use resins and elastomers.

[0025] However, when (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, which is unsuitable as a component to be blended in such a cleaning composition, is added to the propellant gas N2, compressed air, CO2, argon, or a mixture of two or more of them to prepare an aerosol composition, (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene does not volatilize immediately after spraying and remains in a solution state. Therefore, the aerosol composition after spraying can be delivered in a concentrated rod-shaped solution to a narrow area without spreading over a wide area as fine droplets, that is, it can be sprayed from a long distance to pinpoint the contaminated area and wash it away with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution. As a result, it is possible to provide a new aerosol composition that has the excellent effect of enabling a cleaning process to be carried out in which (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is sprayed onto contaminated areas of metal parts of important parts such as braking devices of vehicles, conveyances, and transport vehicles, and then washed away, while avoiding resins and elastomers that are corroded by (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene.

[0026] <About (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene> The cleaning agent composition and aerosol composition thereof according to the above-mentioned present invention contain (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene as one of the two essential components. (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is available as a hydrofluoroolefin solvent under the name 1233Z (Central Glass Co., Ltd., Japan) and the like.

[0027] (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is a non-flammable solvent with no flash point and no flammable range according to the explosion limit test method ASTM E681. It also has environmentally friendly chemical properties, such as an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of practically zero and a global warming potential (GWP) of less than 1. Therefore, it is not a component specified in the Ozone Layer Protection Act, the Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Act, the Fluorocarbons Emissions Control Act, the Fire Service Act, and the High Pressure Gas Safety Act, and there are no special restrictions on its use. It does not require a hazardous materials warehouse for storage, and there are no legal restrictions on the amount of storage.

[0028] <Aerosol Composition> The propellant gas in the aerosol composition may be N2, compressed air, CO2, argon, or a mixture of two or more of them, and may be a liquefied gas or a compressed gas. The cleaning composition of the present invention may be mixed with the propellant gas to prepare an aerosol composition, which may then be filled in a pressure can and provided.

[0029] <How to use> The cleaning composition of the present invention is mixed with a liquefied gas serving as a propellant gas to form an aerosol composition, which is filled into a pressure can and aerosolized, or the cleaning composition of the present invention is placed in a pail can, a mobile small filling machine is installed at the work site where it is used, and the cleaning composition in the pail can is aerosolized by compressed air, and the aerosol can be sprayed onto metal members of various vehicles, vehicles, and transports to be cleaned, such as automobiles, two-wheeled vehicles, bicycles, construction machines, agricultural machines, aircraft, railway vehicles, ships, etc. Note that the sprayed aerosol can be delivered in a narrow range in a concentrated rod-shaped solution, so that the aerosol composition is sprayed pinpoint-wise only onto contaminated parts of the metal members with grease and the like, avoiding resins and elastomers in important parts such as braking devices such as brakes of vehicles, vehicles, and transports, and is used by washing away the contaminated parts with grease and the like with a solution of (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene. EXAMPLES

[0041] <Test Example 2: Evaluation of drying properties> ·material and method As in Test Example 1, the aerosol compositions or solutions of the above-mentioned Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 4 to 8 were prepared, respectively.

[0042] A thermohygrostat (HPAV-120-40, Isuzu Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Japan) was set to temperature conditions of 40°C, 25°C, or 10°C and humidity of 70%, and a 2 cm flat plate was placed in it and allowed to stand. When the temperature of the flat plate became constant, 100 μL of the composition or solution of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 4 to 8 was placed in the flat plate, and the time until the droplets of each solution completely evaporated and dried from the flat plate was measured visually.

[0043] Test results When the above tests were performed, the drying times at 40°C, 25°C and 10°C were 1 minute 36 seconds, 2 minutes 11 seconds and 3 minutes 54 seconds, respectively, for the conventional quick-drying concentrate (Comparative Example 5), 3 minutes 48 seconds, 5 minutes 58 seconds and 6 minutes 38 seconds, respectively, for the conventional degreasing cleaner (Comparative Example 6), and over 15 minutes, over 15 minutes and over 10 minutes, respectively, for the conventional ambient-drying concentrate.

[0044] On the other hand, in the case of Comparative Example 4 (aerosol composition containing (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and a propellant gas which is LPG), which uses LPG that is frequently used in conventional aerosol compositions, the LPG volatilized immediately after spraying, and the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene became fine droplets which also volatilized immediately.

[0045] On the other hand, in Example 1 (aerosol composition containing (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and a propellant gas of N2), Example 2 (aerosol composition containing (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and a propellant gas of compressed air), and Example 3 (aerosol composition containing (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and a propellant gas of CO2), the aerosol did not volatilize immediately after spraying, but was sprayed as a rod-shaped solution, becoming a solution of (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, and the drying times were 0 minutes 57 seconds, 1 minute 37 seconds, and 2 minutes 14 seconds in Example 1, 0 minutes 52 seconds, 1 minute 32 seconds, and 2 minutes 9 seconds in Example 2, and 0 minutes 50 seconds, 1 minute 30 seconds, and 2 minutes 5 seconds in Example 3, respectively.

[0046] From these results, it was revealed that in the aerosol composition using N2, compressed air or CO2 as a propellant gas in Examples 1 to 3, (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is not immediately volatilized as fine droplets, but is sprayed as a rod-shaped solution, reaches the target as a solution, and maintains the solution state for a certain period of time. From this, it was newly revealed that an aerosol composition using N2, compressed air or CO2 as a propellant gas has a sufficient possibility of wetting the target dirt with a (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution and removing it.

[0047] On the other hand, the LPG propellant gas is often used in conventional aerosol compositions, but in the aerosol composition of Comparative Example 4, unexpectedly, LPG volatilizes immediately after spraying, and (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene also volatilizes immediately as fine droplets, and it is clear that it does not reach the spray target as a solution and does not remain in a solution state for a certain period of time.It has been newly revealed that when LPG, which is often used in conventional aerosol compositions, is used as a propellant gas in combination with a (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, it is difficult to wet the target dirt with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution and sufficiently remove it.

[0048] <Test Example 3: Evaluation of propellant gas used in aerosol composition> ·material and method As in Test Example 1, the aerosol compositions of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Example 4 described above were each prepared.

[0049] The spray state, drying time, sprayable distance, and cleaning properties were examined according to the type of gas used in the aerosol composition. Using a metal plate, the aerosol compositions of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Example 4 were sprayed for 10 seconds from positions 5 cm, 10 cm, 50 cm, 1 m, 2 m, and 10 m away from the metal plate, and the spray state of the aerosol, the state of the liquid on the metal plate after spraying, and the time until the liquid dried were visually measured.

[0050] Test results It was confirmed that the aerosol compositions of the present invention, which use N2, compressed air or CO2 as the propellant gas in Examples 1 to 3, do not volatilize immediately after 10 seconds of spraying, but are sprayed as rod-shaped solutions, and can intensively wet a narrow area of 5 cm in diameter on a metal plate 5 cm, 10 cm, 50 cm, and 1 m away with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution. When CO2 is used, the aerosol composition can be sprayed as rod-shaped solutions up to an internal gas pressure of 0.2 MPa in the pressure-resistant can, but when the internal pressure exceeds this, the aerosol becomes mist-like. It is understood that by keeping the internal pressure below a certain level, the aerosol becomes rod-shaped, preventing the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution from coming into contact with resins or elastomers in important parts such as the braking devices of vehicles, conveyances, and transport apparatus, and making it possible to spray the aerosol composition in a pinpoint manner only onto the parts of the desired metal components that are contaminated by oils and greases, etc. In addition, it was confirmed that the aerosol composition does not become mist even when the internal pressure is increased to more than 0.2 MPa when using N2 or compressed air, and the aerosol composition can reach metal plates at greater distances, such as 2 m and 10 m, as a rod-shaped solution, and can intensively wet a narrow area of 5 cm in diameter on the metal plate with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution. It is understood that when using N2 or compressed air, the aerosol composition can reach metal plates at greater distances as a rod-shaped solution, and this allows for greater freedom in cleaning while avoiding the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution coming into contact with resins and elastomers in important parts such as braking devices for vehicles, vehicles, and transport.

[0051] On the other hand, although the propellant gas LPG is frequently used in conventional aerosol compositions, in the aerosol composition of Comparative Example 4, the LPG volatilizes immediately after spraying, and the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution also volatilizes quickly along with it. As a result, it was not possible to wet the metal plate with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, and it was confirmed that the composition is not suitable for cleaning vehicles, conveyances, and transport apparatuses in which resins or elastomers are used in important parts.

[0052] <Test Example 4: Evaluation of cleaning properties using aerosol compositions> ·material and method As in Test Example 1, the aerosol compositions of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Example 4 described above were each prepared.

[0053] The cleaning ability of the aerosol composition is confirmed. A number of metal plates having grooves of 1 mm width and 1 mm depth on the surface are prepared, and the grease or oil used in Test Example 1 is applied to each of them. The aerosol compositions of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Example 4 are sprayed for 10 or 30 seconds with different spray distances, and the diameter of the area wetted with the solution when the aerosol reaches the metal plate is measured. The aerosol solution does not dry but flows down, dissolving the grease or oil and washing it away thoroughly, and no residue remains. The evaluation was performed as follows: ◎: the aerosol solution does not dry but flows down, and the grease or oil is almost completely washed away. △: the aerosol solution remains in place, and the grease or oil is dissolved by the aerosol solution, but the aerosol solution dries midway, leaving the grease or oil on the metal plate. ×: the aerosol solution evaporates on the metal plate, so the grease or oil does not dissolve sufficiently and remains.

[0054] Test results In the aerosol composition of the present invention, which uses N2, compressed air or CO2 as the propellant gas in Examples 1 to 3, a narrow area of 5 cm in diameter on a metal plate can be intensively wetted with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution by spraying for 10 seconds, and the aerosol solution does not dry but drips downward, and the grease or oil is almost completely washed away, and an evaluation of ○ was obtained. In addition, by spraying for 30 seconds, a narrow area of 5 cm in diameter on a metal plate can be intensively wetted with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, and the aerosol solution does not dry but drips downward, and the grease or oil is dissolved and sufficiently washed away, and no residue is left, and an evaluation of ◎ was obtained. For the N2 and compressed air, the internal pressure was increased to more than 0.2 MPa to check the cleaning ability of grease or oil on a metal plate at a greater distance, such as 10 m. In both cases, a 90-second spray was able to intensively wet a narrow area of 5 cm in diameter on the metal plate with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, and the aerosol solution did not dry but dripped downward, so that the grease or oil was almost completely washed away, earning a rating of ○. Furthermore, a 180-second spray was able to intensively wet a narrow area of 5 cm in diameter on the metal plate with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, and the aerosol solution did not dry but dripped downward, so that the grease or oil was dissolved and thoroughly washed away, leaving no residue, earning a rating of ◎. Because the aerosol is sprayed in a rod-like shape, it can be targeted at contaminated areas with pinpoint accuracy and cleaned, and because the aerosol is sprayed in a rod-like shape, it can be targeted at contaminated areas even from a greater distance, so it is possible to clean from a distance without having to disassemble the equipment and get close to clean, and it is understood that this will increase the versatility of the cleaning process, such as by allowing for mechanization.

[0055] On the other hand, in the aerosol composition of Comparative Example 4, LPG volatilizes immediately after spraying, and the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution also volatilizes quickly and spreads over a wide area, so the metal plate cannot be wetted with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, and the aerosol solution evaporates on the metal plate, so the grease or oil does not dissolve sufficiently and remains, resulting in an evaluation of x. In addition, when the metal plate is brought close to the aerosol nozzle, it is clear that LPG volatilizes immediately after spraying, and (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene becomes fine droplets and adheres to a wide area. If the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution comes into contact with resins or elastomers used in important parts such as braking devices of vehicles, conveyances, and transports, there is an extremely high risk of the resins or elastomers being eroded, and it is understood that the solution is unsuitable as a cleaning aerosol composition for various vehicles, conveyances, and transports such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, railway vehicles, and ships.

[0056] <Test Example 5: Evaluation of propellant gas (mixed gas) used in aerosol composition> ·material and method The aerosol composition of the present invention using (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and a propellant gas was also evaluated when the propellant gas used was mixed. In the same manner as in Test Example 1, (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and N2, CO2 and N2, or CO2 as a propellant gas were filled into a pressure can to produce Examples 9 to 16. The filling conditions for the propellant gas were set as follows. Example 9: N2 was filled until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa. Example 10: CO2 was filled to an internal pressure of 0.1 MPa, and then N2 was filled until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa. Example 11: CO2 was filled to an internal pressure of 0.2 MPa, and then N2 was filled until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa. Example 12: CO2 was filled to an internal pressure of 0.3 MPa, and then N2 was filled until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa. Example 13: CO2 was filled to an internal pressure of 0.4 MPa, and then N2 was filled until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa. Example 14: CO2 was filled to an internal pressure of 0.5 MPa, and then N2 was filled until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa. Example 15: Fill with CO2 until the internal pressure reaches 0.6 MPa. In addition, as comparative examples, Comparative Example 16 was prepared in which the propellant gas was LPG and the internal pressure was set to 0.25 MPa, Comparative Example 17 was filled into a hand spray bottle with (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, and Comparative Example 18 was filled into a cleaning bottle with (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene.

[0057] Using the above-mentioned Examples 9 to 15 and Comparative Examples 16 to 18, the spray state, the state of dripping, the cleaning range and cleaning properties were confirmed. For Examples 9 to 15 and Comparative Example 16, the spray amount (g) of the aerosol composition when sprayed for 2 seconds was measured. For Examples 9 to 12, the spray amount per 2 seconds was about 20g, and for Examples 13 to 15 and Comparative Example 16, the spray amount per 2 seconds was less than that. Therefore, in the test to confirm the cleaning effect, for Examples 9 to 12, the spray time was set to 2 seconds so that the spray amount was about 20g, and for Examples 13 to 15 and Comparative Example 16, where the spray amount was small, the spray time was set to be long so that the spray amount was 20g.

[0058] Using the metal plate used in Test Example 4, 0.2 g of brake grease was applied to the surface in a circle having a diameter of 36 mm. Next, 20 g of (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution was sprayed onto the metal plate coated with brake grease using Examples 9 to 15 and Comparative Examples 16 to 18, and the aerosol spray state, the state of dripping of the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, the cleaning range, and cleaning properties were measured.

[0059] Test results The results of the above tests are shown in Table 2.

[0060] [Table 2]

[0061] The cleaning aerosol composition of the present invention uses N2 as a propellant gas, so that the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution is sprayed in a rod shape without immediate volatilization, and even if the distance is kept at 20 cm or 50 cm, the solution accurately reaches the metal plate surface to be cleaned, sufficiently wets the reached area, and drips sufficiently from the area, that is, the solution after cleaning does not remain on the contaminated area but flows down, making it possible to clean the cleaning area. It was also found that the cleaning range was narrow at 5.25 to 6.25 cm (Table 2). It is understood that when the contaminated area is concentrated at one point, it is possible to efficiently perform the cleaning work by using an aerosol composition using N2 as a propellant gas. As confirmed in the previous test example, when CO2 is used as the propellant gas, if CO2 is filled into a pressure canister at an internal pressure of 0.2 MPa or less, the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution is sprayed in a rod shape without immediately volatilizing. Therefore, when the contaminated area is concentrated at one point, it is understood that CO2 can also be used as the propellant gas to be combined with a cleaning aerosol composition that uses a (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution.

[0062] Furthermore, when CO2 was filled into a pressure canister until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa, the spray state was maintained as a mist, the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution reached the metal plate surface, and it was confirmed that the applied brake grease was sufficiently cleaned. Furthermore, when the cleaning range was confirmed, it was found that the cleaning range was 8.00-9.00 cm, which was wider than that of rod-shaped nitrogen gas (Table 2). In addition, when a mixed propellant gas of N2 and CO2 was filled into a pressure canister until the internal pressure reached 0.6 MPa, if CO2 was filled up to 0.2 MPa in advance, the spray state became a rod-shaped mist, the cleaning range was wider than that of rod-shaped N2, and the cleaning range after spraying was narrower than that of CO2 alone, but the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution reached the metal plate surface, and it was confirmed that the applied brake grease was sufficiently cleaned. In addition, when CO2 was charged in advance at 0.3 MPa or more, the spray state was maintained in a mist form, the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution was able to reach the metal plate surface, and it was confirmed that the applied brake grease was sufficiently cleaned (Table 2).

[0063] In either case, it was found that the aerosol composition of the present invention can sufficiently clean the cleaning area. It was also found that the propellant gas used in the present invention can be provided with sufficient cleaning properties even when multiple propellants are mixed. It is also understood that compressed air, the main components of which are N2 and CO2, can also exhibit cleaning properties. It is also understood that the aerosol composition of the present invention can be widely adjusted in terms of the type of propellant gas and the pressure when filling the pressure canister, depending on the degree of concentration (or spread) of contamination at the cleaning area.

[0064] On the other hand, in the case of LPG, which is widely used as a propellant gas in conventional aerosol compositions, after spraying, the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution immediately volatilizes in the form of fine mist, and does not reach a level where the metal plate surface to be cleaned is sufficiently wetted (Table 2). Furthermore, the sprayed metal plate surface was frozen, probably due to a sudden drop in temperature caused by the evaporation of the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution and LPG. In cleaning various vehicles, conveyances, and transportation such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machines, agricultural machines, aircraft, railway vehicles, and ships, including brake parts and various important parts, freezing the cleaning parts, that is, wetting them with water, is a situation that should be avoided, so it is understood that the combination of (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and LPG is not preferable. In Comparative Example 17, in which (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene was filled in a hand sprayer, the solution became mist-like and did not reach the metal plate surface to be cleaned (Table 2). In Comparative Example 18, in which (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene was filled in a cleaning bottle, it was possible to discharge the solution in a rod-like form from the cleaning bottle and have it reach the metal plate surface to perform cleaning work (Table 2), but since it is all manual work, it is not suitable for incorporation into the work process. When the internal pressure after spraying was confirmed, there was no change in the internal pressure after spraying for LPG, which immediately volatilizes and does not reach the metal plate surface to be cleaned. From this, it is considered that LPG is dissolved in a large amount in the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution, and that the LPG dissolved in a large amount in the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution immediately volatilizes after spraying. On the other hand, when N2, CO2 or a mixture of these was used as the propellant gas, it was possible to deliver the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution to the object to be cleaned by spraying it in a rod-like, rod-like mist or mist form, but the internal pressure in the pressure can decreased after spraying. From this, it can be understood that N2, CO2 and mixtures thereof used as propellant gases are not miscible with the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution like LPG, but contribute to the spraying of the (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene solution from the pressure canister, making it possible for the solution to reach the surface to be cleaned by being sprayed in a rod-like, rod-like mist, or mist form. It can also be understood that the same is true for compressed air, which contains similar components, and rare gases such as argon, which have little reactivity with other substances. [Industrial Applicability]

[0065] The aerosol composition is characterized by containing (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and a propellant gas which is N2, compressed air, CO2, argon or a mixture of two or more of them. This aerosol composition is non-flammable, so there is a low risk of ignition or fire, it is classified as a non-hazardous material under the Fire Service Act, a hazardous material warehouse is not required, there is no legal limit on the storage amount of the cleaning composition used in large quantities, and further, it has characteristics of low toxicity and low environmental load such as ozone layer destruction, and while having cleaning performance and drying performance equal to or greater than conventional brake cleaner cleaning compositions, the aerosol is sprayed in a rod shape, rod mist shape, or mist shape, so that (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene can be sprayed within a certain area, and thus the aerosol can be sprayed in a pinpoint manner on automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, etc. It is therefore possible to provide a new aerosol composition for cleaning various vehicles, vehicles and transport means such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, aircraft, railway cars, ships and the like, which has the excellent properties of being able to target and effectively clean contaminated areas of various vehicles, vehicles and transport means such as railway cars, ships and the like, being able to clean from a distance without having to disassemble the equipment of the vehicle, vehicle or transport means to be cleaned and approaching the contaminated areas to clean them, thereby increasing the versatility of the cleaning process, such as by making it possible to accommodate mechanization, and being able to avoid erosion by (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene of resins and elastomers used in combination with the vehicles, vehicles and transport means, and an effective cleaning method for various vehicles, vehicles and transport means in which the cleaning aerosol composition is sprayed against the various vehicles, vehicles and transport means to clean them.
