Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a liquid medicine pumping device and a method for preparing a liquid medicine for injection using the same. [Background technology]
[0002] A liquid medicine injection device is known that injects a liquid medicine (e.g., injection liquid) into a patient to supply a drug to the patient. By using the liquid medicine injection device, the liquid medicine in a predetermined storage space passes through a passage connected to the patient (e.g., the internal space of a tube and a syringe needle) and flows into the patient's body.
[0003] A conventional liquid injection device injects liquid through a process of expansion and contraction. Specifically, when liquid is filled inside the liquid injection device, the space in which the liquid is filled expands, and a pressure is generated to contract the space filled with the liquid, so that the liquid in the liquid injection device can be injected into a patient using the energy of the space trying to return to its original volume. For example, liquid injection devices that generate the pressure to contract using an elastic body or air compression energy such as a spring type, a balloon type, or an air compression type are known. In addition, a lubricant for sliding of a plunger can be applied to the inner surface of a chamber of the liquid injection device.
[0004] Furthermore, in order to inject a liquid medicine into a patient's body using a liquid medicine injector, it is necessary to fill the liquid medicine inside the liquid medicine injector, and a priming process is required in which saline solution or the liquid medicine is filled into the tubes of the liquid medicine injector and the air inside the tubes is removed. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] While Korean company E-WHA Biomedics Co., Ltd. has already been selling a drug injection device called "ANAPA," at least some embodiments of the present disclosure present a more innovative drug injection device that is an upgraded version of the existing "ANAPA" device.
[0006] In a conventional drug injection device, as the internal space of a chamber of the drug injection device is filled with drug solution, a plunger slides along the inner surface of the chamber, and the internal space expands. During this process, the plunger slides along the inner surface of the chamber, and the lubricant applied to the inner surface may be damaged or entangled and deformed. Thereafter, during the process of the internal space contracting to inject drug solution, if the plunger slides again along the same inner surface in the opposite direction to the movement direction during the expansion process, frictional resistance acting on the plunger increases. In addition, since it is not possible to adjust the degree to which the lubricant is damaged or entangled and deformed, the frictional resistance varies depending on which part of the inner surface the plunger contacts during the contraction process. Therefore, such deformation of the lubricant film makes it difficult to set a constant frictional force applied to the plunger during the contraction process, and causes a problem of difficulty in setting a constant drug solution inflow speed. Each embodiment of the drug pumping device disclosed herein solves such problems of the prior art.
[0007] In addition, the conventional liquid injection device has a problem that it is necessary to perform a very troublesome operation in order to perform a priming operation. If the conventional liquid injection device performs the priming operation using a pressurizing operation unit (e.g., an air compression type pressurizing operation unit) that generates a pressurizing force during the process of injecting liquid, there is a problem that the operation of the pressurizing operation unit must be started. Each embodiment of the liquid injection preparation method disclosed herein solves such a problem of the conventional technology.
[0008] In addition, when the plunger of the liquid injection device is placed at a certain position in the chamber for a considerable time, adhesion between the inner surface of the chamber and the plunger may occur. In particular, when a lubricant is applied to the inner surface of the chamber, such adhesion becomes stronger due to the influence of the lubricant, and when the liquid injection device is used, a pressure higher than the preset pressure is required to immediately move the plunger in the pressurizing direction for the contraction process. This may make it difficult to start the liquid injection device normally, and a problem may occur in which the liquid injection speed set during such a start-up process is not maintained. The embodiment of the liquid injection preparation method disclosed herein solves such a problem. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] In order to prevent the deformation of the lubricant film, one aspect of the present disclosure provides various embodiments of a liquid medicine pumping device. The liquid medicine pumping device according to the representative embodiments includes a chamber in which an internal space not filled with liquid medicine and an inlet connected to the internal space are formed, a plunger disposed inside the chamber so that the internal space has a predetermined volume, and a pressurizing operation unit configured to pressurize the plunger so that the volume of the internal space decreases.
[0010] In one embodiment, the chamber may have an inlet connected to the internal space and different from the inlet. The liquid medicine pumping device may further include a one-way valve disposed at the inlet and configured to allow a flow of the liquid medicine moving from the outside to the internal space and to prevent a flow of the liquid medicine moving from the internal space to the outside.
[0011] In an embodiment, the chamber may be formed with a vent hole, and the liquid pumping device may further include a hydrophobic filter configured to allow air to pass through the vent hole from the internal space to the outside, but to prevent liquid from passing through the vent hole.
[0012] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems in the priming operation and the above-mentioned problems of failure in starting operation due to the adhesion of the plunger of the drug injection device, another aspect of the present disclosure provides various embodiments of a drug injection preparation method. The drug injection device used in the drug injection preparation method according to the representative embodiment includes a chamber in which an internal space is formed and different inlet and inlet ports are formed connected to the internal space; a plunger disposed inside the chamber so that the internal space has a predetermined volume; a pressurizing operation unit configured to pressurize the plunger so that the volume of the internal space decreases; and a drug flow line having a drug flow passage connected to the inlet. The drug injection preparation method according to the representative embodiment includes an additional drug filling step in which, when the internal space is filled with drug solution, additional drug solution is introduced into the internal space through the inlet, and the plunger moves so that the volume of the internal space increases, generating a pressure for the plunger to push the drug solution; and a priming step in which the drug solution moves due to the pressure to fill the drug solution flow passage. Effect of the Invention
[0013] In one embodiment of the drug solution pumping device, a plunger is disposed inside the chamber so that the internal space not filled with drug solution has a predetermined volume, so that when the user's drug solution is filled to the predetermined volume, the plunger does not slide against the inner surface of the chamber, and damage to the lubricant film applied to the inner surface of the chamber can be minimized. As a result, it is possible to set a constant friction force applied to the plunger during the above-mentioned contraction process for injecting drug solution into a patient, and drug solution can be injected into a patient at a set constant drug solution inflow rate.
[0014] According to one embodiment of the method for preparing for injection of a liquid medicine, even before the pressurizing operation unit starts to operate, the liquid medicine additionally flowed into the internal space (additional inflow amount of liquid medicine) moves along the connecting flow path by the pressurization in the priming step, so that the priming operation can be performed quickly and easily. Also, according to one embodiment of the method for preparing for injection of a liquid medicine, if a user fills the internal space with the additional inflow amount of liquid medicine, a pressure is generated to push the plunger in the direction to be moved for the priming step without any additional operation, so that the priming operation can be performed conveniently with a minimum of actions.
[0015] If the plunger is moved in the pressurizing direction for the contraction process immediately after the initial stop state, a higher pressure than the set pressure may be required due to the influence of the adhesion described above, so in order to prevent this, in one embodiment of the method for preparing for drug injection, the plunger is first moved slightly in the opposite direction to the pressurizing direction in the additional drug solution filling step to release the adhesion described above. As a result, when the plunger is pushed in the pressurizing direction with the previously set pressure after the additional drug solution filling step, there is no influence of the adhesion described above, so that the drug solution pumping device or the drug solution injecting device can be naturally induced to start normal operation, and the drug solution can be injected into the patient at a constant drug solution injection speed without any additional pressure. However, even if a description of a component is omitted, it is not intended that such a component is not included in a certain embodiment.
[0033] FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram showing the entire system of a liquid injector (1) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0034] 1, the liquid medicine injector 1 includes a liquid medicine pumping device 100. The liquid medicine injector 1 may include a liquid medicine flow unit 300 connected to the liquid medicine pumping device 100.
[0035] The liquid medicine pumping device 100 includes a chamber 110 in which an internal space 110s is formed that is not filled with liquid medicine. The chamber 110 has an inlet 110a formed therein and connected to the internal space 110s. The liquid medicine flow unit 300 may be connected to the inlet 110a. After the internal space 110s is filled with liquid medicine, the liquid medicine may be discharged to the liquid medicine flow unit 300 through the inlet 110a.
[0036] The liquid medicine pumping device (100) includes a plunger (120) disposed inside the chamber (110s) so that the internal space (110s) has a predetermined volume. The plunger (120) is configured to be movable inside the chamber (110). The plunger (120) can pressurize the liquid medicine inside the chamber (110) by moving in a predetermined pressure direction.
[0037] The liquid medicine pumping device 100 includes a pressurizing unit 130 configured to pressurize the plunger 120 so that the volume of the internal space 110s decreases. The pressurizing unit 130 can provide power to move the plunger 120 in the pressurizing direction. As an example, the pressurizing unit 130 can be configured to pressurize the plunger 120 in the pressurizing direction by gas activation or gas pressure generated inside through a balloon or the like. As another example, the pressurizing unit 130 can move the plunger 120 in the pressurizing direction by the force of an elastic body such as a spring. In this embodiment, the pressurizing unit 130 pressurizes the plunger 120 by generating gas (e.g., carbon dioxide) inside through gas activation.
[0038] The liquid medicine flow unit 300 includes a liquid medicine flow line 320. The liquid medicine flow unit 300 may include an air filter 330 and a liquid medicine transport pipe device 340.
[0039] In order to inject a liquid medicine into a patient using the liquid medicine injector (1), a priming process, which is a process for preparing for liquid medicine injection, and a liquid medicine injecting process may be performed. In the priming process, a liquid for priming is caused to flow along the liquid medicine flow line (320). The priming process may be performed in a state where an end cap (500) is coupled to the downstream end of the liquid medicine flow section (300). The priming process may be performed in a state where the liquid medicine injector is separated from the patient. The liquid for priming that flows along the liquid medicine flow line (320) flows into an air filter and a capillary device (e.g., a liquid medicine transfer tube device with an integrated filter) (330, 340) for adjusting the flow rate. The liquid medicine injector (1) may include an end cap (500) detachably connected to the downstream side of the liquid medicine transfer tube device (340). Air inside the liquid medicine flow line (320) may be discharged to the outside through the end cap (500). In this embodiment, after the liquid chemical pumping device 100 is filled with the liquid chemical, the liquid chemical can be used as the priming liquid.
[0040] The end cap 500 is configured to allow the air and the priming liquid that have passed through the drug solution transfer tube device 340 to flow in. The end cap 500 may be configured to allow the air to flow out but to prevent the priming liquid from flowing out.
[0041] The end cap (500) includes a vent filter (510) that prevents the passage of the priming liquid but allows the passage of gas. The vent filter (510) includes a hydrophobic filter. The end cap (500) may include a sponge (520) disposed upstream of the vent filter (510). The end cap (500) includes an end cap casing (530) that houses the vent filter (510). The end cap casing (530) forms a vent hole (530a) through which gas passes. The end cap (500) includes an end cap coupling part (540) that is configured to be coupled to the downstream coupling part (341a) of the drug solution transfer tube device (340). An arrow E1 in FIG. 1 illustrates the coupling and separation direction of the end cap coupling part (540) to the downstream coupling part (341a).
[0042] When the end cap (500) is filled with the priming liquid, the end cap (500) can be separated from the drug solution transport tube device (340) and the drug solution transport tube device (340) can be connected to the patient connection unit (600, 600').
[0043] The patient connection unit 600, 600' may include a needle 610, a catheter, etc. The patient connection unit 600, 600' includes a component that is introduced into the patient's body, such as a needle 610.
[0044] The patient connection unit (600, 600') may include an "inlet part" including components to be introduced into the patient's body, such as a syringe needle (610), and "remaining parts." The inlet part and the remaining parts may be detachably connected to each other. In this case, the inlet part is connected to the patient but is separate from the remaining parts, and the user can connect the remaining parts to the drug solution transfer tube device (340) and then connect the inlet part and the remaining parts to each other. In this case, the liquid that has passed through the drug solution transfer tube device (340) can flow into the patient's body sequentially through the remaining parts and the inlet part.
[0045] The patient connection unit (600, 600') includes an injection support part (620) that supports an injection needle (610). The patient connection unit (600, 600') includes a unit connection part (630) that is configured to be connectable to the downstream connection part (341a) of the drug solution transfer tube device (340). The arrow E2 in FIG. 1 indicates the direction in which the unit connection part (630) is connected to and separated from the downstream connection part (341a).
[0046] For example, the patient connection unit 600 may be configured by sequentially connecting an injection needle 610, an injection support portion 620, and a unit connection portion 630.
[0047] As another example, the patient connection unit (600') further includes a patient connection tube fixing part (650') connected downstream of the unit connecting part (630). The patient connection unit (600') further includes a patient connection tube (640') connecting the patient connection tube fixing part (650') and the injection support part (620). The patient connection tube (640') may be made of a flexible material. The patient connection unit (600') may be configured by sequentially connecting the injection needle (610), the injection support part (620), the patient connection tube (640'), the patient connection tube fixing part (650') and the unit connecting part (630).
[0048] The liquid medicine flow line 320 is configured to guide the flow of the priming liquid. An upstream end of the liquid medicine flow line 320 is connected to the inlet 110a of the chamber 110. For example, the liquid medicine flow line 320 may be a flexible tube. In the liquid medicine injection step according to one embodiment, the plunger 120 is moved in the pressurizing direction as shown by the arrow F, and the liquid medicine filled inside the chamber 110 may sequentially pass through the liquid medicine flow line 320, the air filter 330, and the liquid medicine transport tube device 340.
[0049] The air filter 330 may include a filter casing 331 connected to the drug flow line 320 and a filter 332 disposed within the filter casing 331. The filter 332 of the air filter 330 may filter air bubbles.
[0050] The liquid medicine transfer pipe device 340 may include a transfer pipe casing 341 connected to the air filter 330, and a liquid medicine transfer pipe 342 disposed within the transfer pipe casing 341. The liquid medicine transfer pipe 342 may have a capillary flow path configured to allow the liquid medicine to flow. The liquid medicine transfer pipe 342 may have a function of maintaining a constant flow rate per unit time of the liquid medicine flowing along the liquid medicine flow line 320.
[0051] 2 is a cross-sectional view of the liquid pumping device 100 according to the first embodiment. The liquid pumping device 100 will be described in more detail with reference to FIG.
[0052] The plunger 120 includes a pressurizing surface 121 configured to pressurize the medicinal liquid in the internal space 110s. The pressurizing surface 121 defines one side of the internal space 110s. The plunger 120 is disposed within the chamber 110s such that the internal space 110s has a predetermined volume, but the medicinal liquid pumping device 100 is provided such that the predetermined volume is not filled with medicinal liquid, and the medicinal liquid may be filled into the internal space 110s by a user. Before the medicinal liquid is filled into the internal space 110s of the medicinal liquid pumping device 100, sterile air may be filled into the internal space 110s.
[0053] The chamber 110 may have a sealed space 110t formed between the plunger 120 and the pressurizing unit 130. The pressurizing unit 130 may be configured to pressurize the medicinal liquid by gas pressure generated inside through gas activation. The pressurizing unit 130 generates pressure in the sealed space 110t on the opposite side of the internal space 110s based on the plunger 120, and maintains the pressure constant, and the plunger 120 may be pressurized in the pressurizing direction to inject the medicinal liquid into the patient.
[0054] In one embodiment, the pressurizing unit 130 may include a liquid substance (e.g., citric acid) stored in the receiving space 110u, and a solid substance 133 (e.g., sodium carbonate) stored separately from the liquid substance by a partition before the pressurizing unit 130 is operated. The pressurizing unit 130 may include a pressing unit 131 configured to be pressed by a user. The pressurizing unit 130 may include an air passing filter 135 that allows gas generated in the receiving space 110u to pass through to the sealed space 110t but does not allow liquid to pass through. The pressurizing unit 130 may include a pressure adjusting valve 137 that performs an opening operation when the pressure in the sealed space 110t exceeds a preset pressure and connects the sealed space 110t to an external space. The pressure control valve (137) can be maintained in a closed state by the elastic force of the spring (138) when the pressure in the sealed space (110t) does not exceed the preset pressure.
[0055] In one embodiment, when an external force is applied to the pressing part 131, the partition is released and the solid material 133 is introduced into the receiving space 110u, which reacts with the liquid material to generate gas (e.g., carbon dioxide). The gas generated in the receiving space 110u passes through the air filter 135 and flows into the sealed space 110t, and the pressure in the sealed space 110t increases, causing the plunger 120 to move in the pressurizing direction.
[0056] The liquid medicine pumping device 100 may include a lubricant L applied to the inner surface of the chamber 110 in which the plunger 120 can move and slide. The lubricant L may be applied to the inner surface of the chamber 110 in which the plunger 120 can move and slide. The lubricant L may be applied to the inner surface of the chamber 110 that defines an internal space 110s that is not filled with the liquid medicine. For example, the lubricant L may be silicon oil or the like. The lubricant L is applied and cured to the inner surface of the chamber 110, and maintains a constant resistance value when the plunger 120 slides along the inner surface of the chamber 110 in the pressure application direction, thereby preventing or reducing the occurrence of factors that cause changes in the flow rate of the liquid medicine. During the manufacturing process of the liquid medicine pumping device (100), the plunger (120) is disposed inside the chamber (110) in such a manner that the plunger (120) does not slide on the lubricant (L) applied to the inner surface, thereby minimizing damage and deformation of the applied lubricant (L) during manufacturing and when the user fills the liquid medicine.
[0057] An inlet 110a connected to the internal space 110s is formed in the chamber 110. The chemical solution flow line 320 has a chemical solution flow passage 320p connected to the inlet 110a.
[0058] The chamber 110 is formed with an inlet 110b connected to the internal space 110s. A liquid medicine can be filled into the internal space 110s through the inlet 110b. In the first to third embodiments, the inlet 110b is different from the injection port 110a, but the inlet 110b and the injection port 110a can be the same as in a fourth embodiment described below.
[0059] The chamber 110 includes an inlet forming portion 115 that forms an inlet 110b. The inlet forming portion 115 may include a first portion 115a fixed to one side of the chamber 110 and a second portion 115b fixed to the first portion 115a. The inlet 110b may be formed through the first portion 115a and the second portion 115b.
[0060] The liquid medicine pumping device 100 may include a one-way valve 116 disposed in the inlet 110b. The one-way valve 116 functions as a check valve. The one-way valve 116 prevents the liquid medicine from flowing back from the inlet 110b to the outside of the internal space 110s. The one-way valve 116 allows the flow of the liquid medicine from the outside to the internal space 110s (inflow) while preventing the flow of the liquid medicine from the internal space 110s to the outside (outflow). The one-way valve 116 may include a protrusion (not shown) protruding in the inflow direction, and a hole (not shown) may be formed at the protruding end of the protrusion. The hole of the one-way valve 116 opens or closes depending on the flow direction of the liquid medicine in the inlet 110b. When the liquid medicine in the inlet 110b flows in the inflow direction, the hole of the one-way valve 116 is opened, and when there is no flow of the liquid medicine in the inlet 110b or when the liquid medicine is trying to flow in the outflow direction, the hole of the one-way valve 116 is closed. The one-way valve 116 may include a flange portion (not shown) that is sandwiched and seated between the first portion 115a and the second portion 115b. The one-way valve 116 may be made of a flexible material.
[0061] The liquid medicine pumping device 100 may include a pressure valve 117 that changes whether the inlet 110b is opened or closed. For example, the pressure valve 117 may be a swabable valve. The second portion 115b may support the pressure valve 117. The pressure valve 117 may include a surface that forms a hole 117h that opens when pressed from the outside. When the tip of a syringe is applied from the outside to the surface that forms the hole 117h of the pressure valve 117, the surface may bend to open the hole 117h. The pressure valve 117 may be made of a flexible material.
[0062] A vent hole 110c may be formed in the chamber 110. The vent hole 110c is a separate passage different from the inlet 110a and the inlet 110b.
[0063] The liquid medicine pumping device (100) may include a hydrophobic filter (118) configured to allow the passage of air discharged from the internal space (110s) to the outside through the vent hole (110c) and to prevent the passage of liquid. When a user fills the internal space (110s) with liquid medicine, air in the internal space (110s) passes through the hydrophobic filter (118) and can be discharged to the outside through the vent hole (110c). This allows the user to fill the liquid medicine even when the injection port (110a) is clogged, making it possible to prepare for injection of the liquid medicine in a more hygienic manner.
[0064] The hydrophobic filter 118 may be located on the opposite side of the plunger 120 with respect to the internal space 110s. For example, the plunger 120 is located below the internal space 110s, and the hydrophobic filter 118 is located above the internal space 110s. The chamber 110 may be configured such that the internal space 110s has a shape that protrudes toward the opposite side (i.e., the opposite side of the plunger with respect to the internal space). The hydrophobic filter 118 may be located in the portion of the internal space 110s that has the protruding shape. This allows air in the internal space 110s to be efficiently guided to the hydrophobic filter 118 and discharged to the outside.
[0065] Although not shown, the liquid medicine pumping device 100 may include a hanging part (not shown) configured to be hung on the outside. The hanging part may be coupled to a preset position of the liquid medicine pumping device 100 such that the hydrophobic filter 118 is disposed on the upper side of the internal space 110s by gravity when hung on the outside. For example, the hanging part may include a ring, a connector, etc.
[0066] 3 is a cross-sectional view of a liquid pumping device 100' according to a second embodiment. The liquid pumping device 100' according to the second embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG. 3, focusing on the differences from the liquid pumping device 100 according to the first embodiment of FIG.
[0067] In the liquid medicine pumping device 100', a vent hole 110c is formed on one side of the injection port 110a. The chamber 110 of the liquid medicine pumping device 100' may be configured such that the internal space 110s has a shape that protrudes in the opposite direction (i.e., the opposite side of the plunger based on the internal space). In addition, the injection port 110a and the hydrophobic filter 118 may be located in the protruding portion. Through this, air in the internal space 110s can be efficiently guided to the hydrophobic filter 118 and discharged to the outside.
[0068] FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a liquid chemical pumping device 100″ according to a third embodiment. The liquid chemical pumping device 100″ according to the third embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG. 4, focusing on the differences from the liquid chemical pumping device 100 according to the first embodiment of FIG.
[0069] The chamber (110) of the liquid medicine pumping device (100'') does not include a hydrophobic filter (118). With the inlet (110a) not connected to the liquid medicine flow line (320), a user can fill the internal space (110s) with a liquid medicine through the inlet (110b) and exhaust the internal air to the outside through the inlet (110a). After completing the filling of the liquid medicine, the user can connect the inlet (110a) to the liquid medicine flow line (320). For example, a screw (119) may be provided to connect the chamber (110) and the liquid medicine flow line (320) to each other.
[0070] 5 is a cross-sectional view of a liquid chemical pumping device 100''' according to a fourth embodiment. The liquid chemical pumping device 100'' according to the fourth embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG. 5, focusing on the differences from the liquid chemical pumping device 100'' according to the third embodiment of FIG.
[0071] The liquid injection port 110a and the inlet 110b of the liquid drug pumping device 100''' are identical to each other. The liquid drug pumping device 100''' does not include a hydrophobic filter 118. The liquid drug pumping device 100''' does not include a one-way valve 116 and a pressure valve 117. With the liquid injection port 110a not connected to the liquid drug flow line 320, a user can fill the internal space 110s with a liquid drug through the inlet 110b of the liquid injection port 110a, and the air inside can be discharged to the outside through the inlet 110b. After completing the filling of the liquid drug, a user can connect the liquid injection port 110a to the liquid drug flow line 320. For example, a screw 119 can be provided to connect the chamber 110 and the liquid drug flow line 320 to each other.
[0072] FIG. 6 is a flow chart showing a method for preparing for liquid injection according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The method for preparing for liquid injection may be a method using a liquid injection device including a chamber (110) in which an internal space (100s) is formed and in which different injection ports (110a) and inlets (110b) are formed and connected to the internal space (100s). Hereinafter, the method for preparing for liquid injection will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 6 to 10, based on a liquid injection device (1) including a liquid pumping device (100) according to a first embodiment. However, the method for preparing for liquid injection may also be performed using a liquid injection device including a liquid pumping device (100', 100'') according to a second or third embodiment having an inlet (110b) different from an injection port (110a).
[0073] 7 is a cross-sectional view of the liquid medicine pumping device 100 showing how the liquid medicine M is filled into the chamber 110 in the chamber filling step S10 of the preparation method of FIG. 6. Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, the preparation method may include a chamber filling step S10 of filling the internal space 110s of the chamber 110 with the liquid medicine M. In the chamber filling step S10, the liquid medicine M flows into the internal space 110s of the chamber 110 through the inlet 110b (see arrow F1), and air in the internal space 110s passes through the hydrophobic filter 118 and is discharged to the outside through the vent hole 110c (see arrow A1). According to an embodiment, the chamber filling step (S10) may be performed by a user at a hospital or the like before injecting the liquid medicine, but the chamber filling step (S10) may also be performed by a user who manufactures the pre-filled liquid medicine pumping device (100) during the process of manufacturing the pre-filled liquid medicine pumping device.
[0074] Figure 8 is a cross-sectional view of the liquid medicine pumping device 100 showing a state in which the liquid medicine M has been filled into the chamber 110 in the chamber filling step S10 of the preparation method of Figure 6. Referring to Figure 8, when the chamber filling step S10 is completed, the internal space 110s of the chamber 110 is filled with the liquid medicine M.
[0075] 9 is a cross-sectional view of the liquid medicine pumping device 100 showing how the additional liquid medicine M is filled into the chamber 110 in the additional liquid medicine filling step S20 of the preparation method of FIG. 6. Referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 9, the preparation method includes an additional liquid medicine filling step S20 in which the additional liquid medicine M is introduced into the internal space 110s through the inlet 110b in a state where the internal space 110s is filled with the liquid medicine M, and the plunger 120 moves to increase the volume of the internal space 110s (see arrow M1), generating pressure for the plunger 120 to push the liquid medicine M. In the additional liquid medicine filling step S20, the additional liquid medicine M can be introduced into the internal space 110s through the inlet 110b (see arrow F2).
[0076] Here, the pressure applied by the plunger 120 to push the medicinal liquid M may be a pressure that is increased in the sealed space 110t. In the additional medicinal liquid filling step S20, the pressure may be generated by compressing the sealed space 110t on the opposite side of the internal space 110s with respect to the plunger 120. The plunger 120 may move in the opposite direction M1 to the pressurizing direction due to the medicinal liquid M added to the internal space 110s, compressing the sealed space 110t.
[0077] The amount of the liquid medicine (M) filled in the internal space (110s) before the additional liquid medicine filling step (S20) (see the amount of liquid medicine shown in FIG. 8) is greater than the amount of the liquid medicine (M) filled in the additional liquid medicine filling step (S20). The amount of the liquid medicine (M) filled in the additional liquid medicine filling step (S20) may be the amount of the liquid medicine to fill the flow path of the liquid medicine flow part (300), such as the liquid medicine flow path (320p) (i.e., the amount of the liquid medicine required for priming).
[0078] Figure 10 is a cross-sectional view of the liquid medicine pumping device 100 showing how priming proceeds with the liquid medicine M in the priming step S30 of the preparation method of Figure 6. Referring to Figures 6 and 10, the preparation method includes a priming step S30 in which the liquid medicine M moves and fills the liquid medicine flow passage 320p due to the pressure generated in the additional liquid medicine filling step S20, which causes the plunger 120 to push the liquid medicine M. The additional liquid medicine filling step S20 may start first, and then the priming step S30 may start before it is completed.
