Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present application relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular to a method and apparatus for power control of an uplink control channel. [Background technology]
[0002] In current mobile communication technology, an uplink control channel is used to transmit uplink control information (UCI). For example, the uplink control channel is a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), and the PUCCH can be used to transmit the UCI. The UCI may include at least one of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) information, a scheduling request (SR), or channel state information (CSI). Effective transmission of UCI is very important in the performance of the entire communication system. The HARQ-ACK information is used as an example. Only when the HARQ-ACK information sent by the terminal device is correctly transmitted, the network device (e.g., an access network device such as a base station) can perform data scheduling by using the correct HARQ-ACK information to improve data transmission efficiency. The HARQ-ACK information may include an ACK or a negative acknowledgement (NACK).
[0003] PUCCH power control is one of the means to improve PUCCH reliability and one of the problems that researchers in the field have been studying. At present, when multiple PUCCH resources overlap, a PUCCH power control solution is not available. Therefore, the reliability of PUCCH is reduced. Summary of the Invention
[0004] The present application provides a method and apparatus for power control of an uplink control channel to improve the reliability of a PUCCH.
[0005] According to a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for power control of an uplink control channel. The method may be performed by a terminal, or may be performed by a component (e.g., a chip or a circuit) configured in the terminal. In the following description of the present application, an example in which the terminal performs the method is used for explanation.
[0006] The method may include the following steps.
[0007] The terminal determines a first uplink control channel for transmitting a first UCI and a second uplink control channel for transmitting a second UCI, and when a time-frequency resource of the first uplink control channel and a time-frequency resource of the second uplink control channel overlap, the terminal transmits the first UCI and the second UCI via a third uplink control channel by using a first power.
[0008] The first power may be determined according to any one or a combination of any more of the following manners.
[0009] Manner 1: The first power may be determined based on the number of bits of the first UCI and / or the number of bits of the second UCI.
[0010] Method 2: The first power is determined based on a first number of bits and / or a second number of bits, where the first number of bits is the sum of the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of check bits of the first UCI, and the second number of bits is the sum of the number of bits of the second UCI and the number of check bits of the second UCI.
[0011] Scheme 3: The first power is determined based on P1 and / or P2, where P1 is determined based on the power control parameter of the first uplink control channel, and P2 is determined based on the power control parameter of the second uplink control channel.
[0012] Method 4: The first power is determined based on the bit rate of the first UCI and / or the bit rate of the second UCI.
[0013] Manner 5: When the priority of the first UCI is higher than the priority of the second UCI, the first power is determined based on a closed-loop power limiting parameter of the first uplink control channel.
[0014] Manner 6: The first power is determined based on a first closed loop power limiting parameter, which is determined based on a closed loop power limiting parameter of the first UCI and a closed loop power limiting parameter of the second UCI.
[0015] According to the above method, when the resources of the first PUCCH and the resources of the second PUCCH overlap, the terminal may transmit the information transmitted separately by the first PUCCH and the second PUCCH via the third PUCCH by using the first power. The manner of determining the first power includes any one or any combination of more than one of the above manners 1 to 6. This may improve the reliability of communication in the scenario where the resources of the PUCCH overlap.
[0016] In a possible design, the first power is determined based on a number of symbols occupied by the third uplink control channel, a format of the third uplink control channel, the number of bits of the first UCI, and the number of bits of the second UCI.
[0017] In one possible design, the sum of the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI is less than or equal to four.
[0018] In a possible design, when the bit rate of the first UCI is lower than the bit rate of the second UCI, the first power is determined based on the number of bits of the second UCI and the size of a time-frequency resource for transmitting the second UCI, or the first power is determined based on the bit rate of the second UCI.
[0019] In a possible design, the first power is determined based on the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI, and the sum of the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI is greater than or equal to 4 and less than or equal to 11.
[0020] In one possible design, the first power is determined based on the first number of bits and the second number of bits, wherein a sum of the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI is greater than eleven.
[0021] In a possible design, the first power is determined according to the following formula: P=a*P1+b*P2
[0022] a and b are constants, and a and b are determined based on the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI, or a and b are determined based on the bit rate of the first UCI and the bit rate of the second UCI.
[0023] In a possible design, the first power is a greater value between P1 and P2.
[0024] In a possible design, when the priority of the first UCI is higher than the priority of the second UCI, the first power is determined based on P1.
[0025] This design may ensure the transmission reliability of the UCI with higher priority between the first UCI and the second UCI.
[0026] In a possible design, when the priority of the first UCI is higher than the priority of the second UCI, the first power is determined based on the bit rate of the first UCI and / or a size of a time-frequency resource for transmitting the first UCI.
[0027] This design may ensure the transmission reliability of the UCI with higher priority between the first UCI and the second UCI.
[0028] In one possible design, the first closed loop power limiting parameter is a greater value between the closed loop power limiting parameter of the first uplink control channel and a closed loop power limiting parameter of the second uplink control channel.
[0029] In a possible design, the bit rate of the first UCI is a bit rate of the first UCI on the third uplink control channel or a bit rate of the first UCI on the first uplink control channel, and the bit rate of the second UCI is a bit rate of the second UCI on the third uplink control channel or a bit rate of the second UCI on the second uplink control channel.
[0030] According to this design, when the bit rate of the first UCI is the bit rate of the first UCI on the third uplink control channel, the bit rate of the second UCI is the bit rate of the second UCI on the third uplink control channel, and the bit rates of the first UCI and the second UCI do not need to be re-determined based on the third uplink control channel for calculating the first power, so as to reduce the calculation complexity. When the bit rate of the first UCI is the bit rate of the first UCI on the first uplink control channel and / or the bit rate of the second UCI is the bit rate of the second UCI on the second uplink control channel, the transmission reliability of the first UCI and the second UCI may be further improved.
[0031] In a possible design, the first UCI includes HARQ-ACK feedback information and / or a scheduling request, and the second UCI includes HARQ-ACK feedback information and / or a scheduling request.
[0032] According to a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for power control of an uplink control channel. The method may be performed by a base station, or may be performed by a component (e.g., a chip or a circuit) configured in the base station. In the following description of the present application, an example in which the base station performs the method is used for illustration.
[0033] The method may include the following steps.
[0034] The base station determines a first uplink control channel for transmitting the first UCI and a second uplink control channel for transmitting the second UCI. When a time-frequency resource of the first uplink control channel and a time-frequency resource of the second uplink control channel overlap, the base station receives the first UCI and the second UCI from the terminal via a third uplink control channel. The transmission power of the third uplink control channel is the first power.

[0052] The present application will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Specific operation methods in the method embodiments may also be applied to the apparatus embodiments or system embodiments.
[0053] The concepts and technical terms that may be used in this application are first explained.
[0054] The UCI is control information sent by the terminal to the network device and used to support uplink and downlink data transmission between the terminal and the network device. As mentioned above, the UCI may include at least one of HARQ-ACK information, a scheduling request, or CSI.
[0055] The uplink control channel is a channel for transmitting UCI. The uplink control channel in this application may be a PUCCH in a 5th Generation (5G) mobile communication system, or may be an uplink control channel in another communication system, such as an uplink control channel in a 6th Generation (6G) mobile communication system. The specific name of the uplink control channel is not limited in this application.
[0056] In this application, the time-frequency resource, or resource for short, is mainly a resource for transmitting the uplink control channel, i.e., PUCCH. The minimum resource granularity in the time domain is one time-domain symbol, and the minimum resource granularity in the frequency domain is one subcarrier. The time-domain symbol may be an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, or a Discrete Fourier Transform-spread-OFDM (DFT-s-OFDM) symbol. Unless otherwise specified, the symbols in the embodiments of this application are all time-domain symbols. A resource element occupying one symbol in the time domain and one subcarrier in the frequency domain is called a resource element (RE). In this application, the number of REs occupied by a PUCCH is referred to as the size of a time-frequency resource of a PUCCH or UCI, or the number of REs occupied by a UCI on a PUCCH is referred to as the size of a time-frequency resource of a PUCCH or UCI.
[0057] Currently, the supported PUCCH formats include format 0, format 1, format 2, format 3, and format 4. In format 0 and format 2, the number of symbols occupied by PUCCH is less than or equal to 2. In format 1, format 3, and format 4, the number of symbols occupied by PUCCH is from 4 to 14. The specific PUCCH format used by the terminal is indicated by the network device by using signaling. The PUCCH in format 0 and format 1 uses a sequence to transmit information, i.e., no coding is performed, and the transmitted information is less than or equal to 2 bits. In format 2, format 3, and format 4, the information transmitted on the PUCCH is modulated and coded, and the number of transmitted information bits is greater than 2. The process of modulation and coding in this specification specifically refers to coding and modulating the information bits transmitted by the PUCCH, and then transmitting the information bits on the time-frequency resource for transmission.
[0058] The PUCCH power is the transmission power used to transmit the PUCCH.
[0059] The priority of PUCCH or the priority corresponding to PUCCH refers to the priority of the service corresponding to PUCCH or the priority of the information transmitted on PUCCH. For example, when PUCCH transmits UCI, the priority of PUCCH is the priority of UCI. In this application, the priority of PUCCH and the priority of UCI can be replaced with each other. A higher priority service or a higher priority UCI has a higher reliability requirement for PUCCH. The priority of the service is used as an example, and the priority of PUCCH includes high priority and low priority. Ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) service may correspond to high priority, and enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) service corresponds to low priority.
[0060] For format 2, format 3, and format 4, the bit rate of UCI is related to the number of bits of UCI, and the number of REs occupied by PUCCH are transmitting UCI and the modulation order used. The number of bits of UCI may be the sum of the bit amount of HARQ-ACK information, scheduling request, channel state information, etc. in UCI. For example, the bit rate of UCI, the number of bits of UCI, the number of REs occupied by PUCCH, and the modulation order satisfy: X=R*Qm*Y, where X indicates the number of bits of UCI, Y indicates the number of REs occupied by PUCCH, R indicates the bit rate of UCI, and Qm indicates the modulation order. Alternatively, X=R*Qm*Y*L, where L indicates the number of layers for spatial multiplexing transmission when UCI is transmitted.
[0061] For format 0 and format 1, the bit rate of UCI is the equivalent bit rate. For format 0, the equivalent bit rate of UCI is X / Z*A1, where X is the number of bits of UCI and Z is the number of REs occupied by UCI. For example, if PUCCH occupies a total of 10 REs and 5 REs are for transmitting a demodulation reference signal (DMRS), Z is 5 instead of 10. A1 may be a value predefined in the protocol or a value signaled by the network device. Optionally, A1=1 or A1 is set to another value, for example, 1 / 2. For format 1, the equivalent bit rate of UCI is X / Z*A2, where A2 may be a value predefined in the protocol or a value signaled by the network device. Optionally, if X=1, then A2=1, or if X=2, then A2=1 / 2.
[0062] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of an architecture of a communication system 1000 to which an embodiment of the present application is applied. As shown in FIG. 1, the communication system includes a radio access network 100 and a core network 200. Optionally, the communication system 1000 may further include an Internet 300. The radio access network 100 may include at least one radio access network device (e.g., 110a and 110b in FIG. 1), and may further include at least one terminal (e.g., 120a to 120j in FIG. 1). The terminal is connected to the radio access network device in a wireless manner, and the radio access network device is connected to the core network in a wireless or wired manner. The core network device and the radio access network device may be independent and different physical devices, and the functions of the core network device and the logical functions of the radio access network device are integrated into the same physical device, or some of the functions of the core network device and some of the functions of the radio access network device are integrated into one physical device. A wired or wireless manner may be used for the connection between the terminals and the radio access network device. FIG. 1 is merely a schematic diagram. The communication system may further include other network devices, for example, wireless relay devices and wireless backhaul devices not shown in FIG.
[0063] The radio access network device may be a base station in a 5th generation (5G) mobile communication system, an evolved NodeB (eNodeB), a transmission reception point (TRP), a next generation NodeB (gNB), a next generation NodeB in a 6th generation (6G) mobile communication system, a base station in a future mobile communication system, or an access node in a Wi-Fi system, or alternatively, a module or unit performing some functions of a base station, such as a central unit (CU) or a distributed unit (DU). The radio access network device may be a macro base station (e.g., 110a in FIG. 1), a micro base station or an indoor base station (e.g., 110b in FIG. 1), or a relay node or a donor node, or the like. The specific technology and the specific device form used by the radio access network device are not limited in the embodiments of the present application. For ease of explanation, the following uses an example in which a base station is used as the radio access network device for explanation.
[0064] The terminal may also be referred to as a terminal device, user equipment (UE), mobile station, or mobile terminal, etc. The terminal may be widely applied to various scenarios, such as device-to-device (D2D), vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, machine type communication (MTC), internet of things (IoT), virtual reality, augmented reality, industrial control, autonomous driving, remote medical care, smart grid, smart furniture, smart office, smart wearable, smart transportation, and smart city. The terminal may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a computer with a wireless transceiver function, a wearable device, a vehicle, an unmanned aerial vehicle, a helicopter, an airplane, a ship, a robot, a robot arm, or a smart home device, etc. The specific technology used by the terminal and the specific device form are not limited to the embodiments of the present application.
[0065] The base station and the terminal may be fixed or mobile. The base station and the terminal may be deployed on land, including indoor or outdoor devices, handheld devices, or vehicle-mounted devices, may be deployed on water, or may be deployed on airplanes, balloons, or airborne satellites. The application scenarios of the base station and the terminal are not limited in the embodiments of this application.
[0066] The roles of base station and terminal may be relative. For example, helicopter or unmanned aerial vehicle 120i in FIG. 1 may be configured as a mobile base station. In the case of terminal 120j accessing wireless access network 100 by using 120i, terminal 120i is a base station. However, in the case of base station 110a, 120i is a terminal, i.e., 110a and 120i communicate with each other by using an air interface protocol. Indeed, 110a and 120i may also communicate with each other by using a base station and an interface protocol between base stations. In this case, 120i is also a base station for 110a. Therefore, both base station and terminal may be collectively referred to as communication devices. 110a and 110b in FIG. 1 may be referred to as communication devices having the function of a base station, and 120a to 120j in FIG. 1 may be referred to as communication devices having the function of a terminal.
[0067] The communication may be performed between a base station and a terminal, between base stations, or between terminals by using licensed spectrum, by using unlicensed spectrum, or by using both licensed and unlicensed spectrum. The communication may be performed by using spectrum below 6 gigahertz (GHz), by using spectrum above 6 GHz, or by using both spectrum below 6 GHz and spectrum above 6 GHz. The spectrum resources used for wireless communication are not limited in the embodiments of the present application.
[0068] In the embodiment of the present application, the functions of the base station may be performed by a module (such as a chip) in the base station, or may be performed by a control subsystem including the functions of the base station. The control subsystem including the functions of the base station in this specification may be a control center in the aforementioned application scenarios such as smart grid, industrial control, intelligent transportation, and smart city. The functions of the terminal may be performed by a module (such as a chip or modem) in the terminal, or may be performed by a device including the functions of the terminal.
[0069] It should be understood that communication between the base station and the terminal may be performed over an air interface. For example, air interface messages, such as radio resource control (RRC) messages, are transmitted between the terminal and the base station over the air interface. The base station transmits downlink signals or information to the terminal, where the downlink information is transmitted on a downlink channel. The terminal transmits uplink signals or information to the base station, where the uplink information is transmitted on an uplink channel.
[0070] An example in which the uplink control channel is PUCCH is used below to describe the data transmission process performed between the base station and the terminal over the air interface.
[0071] The base station first transmits one piece of downlink data. After receiving the downlink data, the terminal decodes the received downlink data. If it is found that the received downlink data has failed to be decoded, the terminal transmits a NACK to the base station via the PUCCH. If the base station correctly receives the NACK, the base station may schedule a retransmission and transmit the downlink data again. This may effectively improve the transmission performance of the downlink data. However, if the NACK transmitted by the terminal is erroneously received by the base station, i.e., if the base station decodes the NACK as an ACK, i.e., if the base station considers that the first-time transmitted downlink data has been successfully decoded by the terminal, the base station will not perform HARQ retransmission for the downlink data. This will degrade the transmission performance of the downlink data.
[0072] It can be seen that the transmission reliability of the UCI is of great importance to the transmission reliability of the entire communication system.
[0073] An important factor affecting the transmission reliability of UCI on PUCCH is the power of PUCCH. If the power of PUCCH is too high or too low, the base station may fail to receive the UCI transmitted on PUCCH, resulting in UCI reception failure. Specifically, the transmission power of PUCCH has a significant impact on the signal-to-noise ratio of PUCCH at the receiving side. For example, if the transmission power of PUCCH is too low, the signal-to-noise ratio may be too low when the base station receives PUCCH, and the UCI transmitted on PUCCH is decoded erroneously. Similarly, if the transmission power of PUCCH is too high, in one aspect, the terminal's energy waste occurs, and in another aspect, the terminal's interference to other devices increases.
[0074] For example, currently, the power of PUCCH satisfies Equation 1.
number
[0075] P CMAX,f,c (i) denotes the maximum power that can be transmitted by the terminal, and z=min(x,y) denotes that z is equal to the smaller value between x and y. For example, if x=1 and y=2, then min(1,2)=1.
number
number
[0076] Δ TFb,f,c (i) shall be determined according to Method A and Method B below.
[0077] Method A: For format 0 and format 1, Δ TFb,f,c (i) is determined based on the number of symbols actually occupied by (or actually allocated to) the PUCCH and the number of transmitted information bits.
[0078] Specifically, Δ TFb,f,c (i) satisfies equation 2.
number
[0079]

[0080] Method B: For Format 2, Format 3, and Format 4, Δ TFb,f,c(i) is determined based on the total number of bits of PUCCH and the number of REs. The total number of bits of PUCCH can be understood as the sum of the number of information bits transmitted by PUCCH and the number of check bits. When the number of check bits is 0, the total number of bits of PUCCH is equal to the number of information bits transmitted by PUCCH. When the number of information bits transmitted by PUCCH is less than or equal to a threshold, the number of check bits is 0. The threshold is, for example, 11 bits.
[0081] Specifically, if the total number of bits of the PUCCH is less than or equal to 11 bits, Δ TFb,f,c (i) satisfies equation 3.
number
[0082] K1=6, n HARQ-ACK (i) indicates the number of ACK / NACK bits in UCI, and SR (i) indicates the number of bits of SR in UCI, and O CSI (i) indicates the number of CSI bits in UCI, and N RE (i) indicates the number of REs obtained by subtracting the REs occupied by DMRS from the REs occupied by PUCCH. For example, if the total number of REs occupied by PUCCH is 100 and the number of REs occupied by DMRS is 10, then N RE (i)=90. n HARQ-ACK (i)+O SR (i)+O CSI (i)) / N RE (i) may be considered as a parameter relating to the bit rate of the information being transmitted on the PUCCH.
[0083] If the total number of PUCCH bits is greater than 11, Δ TFb,f,c (i) satisfies equation 4.
number
[0084] K2=2.4, BPRE(i)=(O ACK (i)+O SR (i)+O CSI (i)+O CRC (i)) / N RE (i) where n HARQ-ACK (i) O SR (i) O CSI (i) and N RE For the meaning of (i), see the explanation in Equation 3. CRC (i) is the number of check bits of the UCI. BPRE(i) can be regarded as a parameter related to the bit rate of the information transmitted on the PUCCH.
[0085] In addition, in formula 1, g b,f,c (i,l) is a value determined based on the closed loop power limiting parameters. The closed loop power limiting parameters are δ PUCCH,b,f,c It can be expressed as (i,l). δ PUCCH,b,f,c The definition of (i, l) and δ PUCCH,b,f,c Based on (i,l) b,f,c For the process of determining (i, l), see Chapter 7.2.1 in technical specification (TS) 38.213 V16.1.0 of the 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP (registered trademark)).
[0086] The power of the PUCCH may be determined according to the above Equation 1. In this application, for example,
number
number
[0087] Based on the above-mentioned manner of determining the power of the PUCCH, it can be seen that the power of the PUCCH is now determined for the determined PUCCH. For example, in Equation 1, for different UCI or PUCCH,
number
[0088] Currently, when resources of two PUCCHs overlap, the terminal multiplexes together the information to be transmitted by the two PUCCHs for transmission, or transmits only the information to be transmitted by one PUCCH and discards all information transmitted by the other PUCCH. In this specification, overlapped resources include resources that overlap in the time domain and / or the frequency domain, i.e., the time domain resources occupied by two PUCCHs overlap on at least one symbol and / or the frequency domain resources occupied by two PUCCHs overlap on at least one subcarrier.
[0089] For example, as shown in Fig. 2, when the resources of PUCCH1 and PUCCH2 overlap in the time domain, the terminal may multiplex UCI1 to be transmitted on PUCCH1 and UCI2 to be transmitted on PUCCH2 onto PUCCH3 for transmission. PUCCH3 may be PUCCH1 or PUCCH2, or may be a PUCCH other than PUCCH1 and PUCCH2. Optionally, the priority of PUCCH1 shown in Fig. 2 is different from the priority of PUCCH2.
[0090] When a terminal transmits UCI1 and UCI2 via PUCCH3, PUCCH3 corresponds to two UCIs, so how to determine the transmission power of PUCCH3 to improve the reliability of multiplexed transmission of the two UCIs via PUCCH is a technical problem to be solved in the embodiment of the present application.
[0091] In the embodiments provided herein, the base station may be configured to transmit a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) or may transmit downlink control information (DCI) via the PDCCH. The PDCCH or DCI may indicate a terminal to receive a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or may schedule a terminal to transmit a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The base station may further receive UCI transmitted by the terminal via the PUCCH or may receive data transmitted by the terminal via the PUSCH. The base station may further be configured to transmit a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS). Correspondingly, the terminal may be configured to receive the PDCCH, CSI-RS, and PDSCH transmitted by the base station. The terminal may further be configured to transmit a channel sounding reference signal (SRS), transmit UCI via the PUCCH, or transmit uplink data via the PUSCH.
[0092] In the embodiment of the present application, PDSCH, PDCCH, PUCCH, and PUSCH are merely used as examples of downlink data channel, downlink control channel, uplink control channel, and uplink data channel. In different systems and different scenarios, the data channel and the control channel may have different names. In the embodiment of the present application, there is no limitation thereon.
[0093] For example, the methods provided in the embodiments of the present application may be implemented by a terminal (or a component such as a chip, circuit or module within the terminal) and a base station (or a component such as a chip, circuit or module within the base station).
[0094] As shown in FIG. 3, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for power control of an uplink control channel.
[0095] S101: A terminal and a base station determine a first PUCCH for transmitting a first UCI and a second PUCCH for transmitting a second UCI.
[0096] The time sequence of determining the first PUCCH and the second PUCCH by the terminal and the base station is not limited in this embodiment of the present application. Determining the PUCCH includes determining at least one of a resource of the PUCCH, a power control parameter of the PUCCH, and a power of the PUCCH.
[0097] Optionally, the priority of the first UCI is different from the priority of the second UCI. In other words, when the priority of the first UCI is different from the priority of the second UCI, the method provided in this embodiment of the present application is performed.
[0098] 2 is used as an example. The first PUCCH may correspond to PUCCH1, and the second PUCCH may correspond to PUCCH2. The first UCI may correspond to information UCI1 to be transmitted by PUCCH1, and the second UCI may correspond to information UCI2 to be transmitted by PUCCH2.
[0099] S102: When the time-frequency resource of the first PUCCH and the time-frequency resource of the second PUCCH overlap, the terminal transmits the first UCI and the second UCI via the third PUCCH by using the first power. In this specification, the overlapped time-frequency resource means that there is an overlap in the time domain and / or the frequency domain, and may be partially overlapped or completely overlapped.
[0100] S103: When the time-frequency resources of the first PUCCH and the time-frequency resources of the second PUCCH overlap, the base station receives the first UCI and the second UCI from the terminal via a third PUCCH, where the transmission power of the third PUCCH is the first power.
[0101] The terminal may independently encode the first UCI and the second UCI, and then send the encoded bit information to the base station via the third PUCCH.
[0102] The first power may be determined in at least one of the following methods 1 to 6.
[0103] Manner 1: The first power is determined based on the number of bits of the first UCI and / or the number of bits of the second UCI. In other words, the first power is determined according to Equation 1, and at least one parameter in Equation 1 is determined based on the number of bits of the first UCI and / or the number of bits of the second UCI. Specifically, determining based on the number of bits of the first UCI and / or the number of bits of the second UCI includes determining based on the number of bits of the first UCI, determining based on the number of bits of the second UCI, and determining based on the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI. For example, the first power or at least one parameter in Equation 1 is determined based on a larger value between the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI, or is determined based on the sum of the number of bits of the first UCI and the number of bits of the second UCI.
[0104] Method 2: The first power is determined based on the first bit number and / or the second bit number. In other words, the first power is determined according to Equation 1, and at least one parameter in Equation 1 is determined based on the first bit number and / or the second bit number. The first bit number is the sum of the bit number of the first UCI and the check bit number of the first UCI, and the second bit number is the sum of the bit number of the second UCI and the check bit number of the second UCI. Alternatively, the first bit number is the number of bits of the first UCI, and the second bit number is the sum of the bit number of the second UCI and the check bit number of the second UCI. Alternatively, the first bit number is the sum of the bit number of the first UCI and the check bit number of the first UCI, and the second bit number is the number of the second UCI. For example, determining based on the first bit number and / or the second bit number includes determining based on a larger value between the first bit number and the second bit number, determining based on the sum of the first bit number and the second bit number, etc.
[0105] Scheme 3: The first power is determined based on P1 and / or P2, where P1 is determined based on the power control parameter of the first PUCCH, and P2 is determined based on the power control parameter of the second PUCCH. The power control parameters in this specification are, for example, P CMAX,f,c (i), P O_PUCCH,b,f,c (q u ),
number
[0106] Manner 4: The first power is determined based on the bit rate of the first UCI and / or the bit rate of the second UCI. In other words, the first power is determined according to Equation 1, and at least one parameter in Equation 1 is determined based on the bit rate of the first UCI and / or the bit rate of the second UCI.
[0107] Manner 5: When the priority of the first UCI is higher than the priority of the second UCI, the first power is determined based on the closed-loop power limiting parameter of the first PUCCH. In other words, when the priority of the first UCI is higher than the priority of the second UCI, the first power is determined according to Equation 1, and at least one power control parameter in Equation 1 is determined based on the closed-loop power limiting parameter of the first PUCCH.
[0108] Manner 6: The first power is determined based on a first closed-loop power limiting parameter. For example, the first power is determined according to Equation 1, and at least one parameter in Equation 1 is determined based on the first closed-loop power limiting parameter. The first closed-loop power limiting parameter is determined based on the closed-loop power limiting parameter of the first UCI and the closed-loop power limiting parameter of the second UCI.
[0109] By using the above method, the transmission reliability of the 3rd PUCCH is improved, and the transmission requirements of UCI1 and UCI2 are met as much as possible.
[0110] See Figure 2. The following describes the methods of determining the first power in Schemes 1 to 6 separately by using an example in which the terminal determines the first power.
[0111] In method 1, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, P CMAX,f,c (i), P O_PUCCH,b,f,c (q u ),
number
[0112] In implementing Scheme 1, the first power may be determined based on the number of symbols occupied by PUCCH3, the format of PUCCH3, and the number of bits of UCI1 and / or the number of bits of UCI2.
[0113] In the following, Δ TF,b,f,c The implementation of Scheme 1 will be explained by using an example where (i) is determined according to Equation 2 and the first power is determined according to Equation 1.
[0114] Δ TF,b,f,c When (i) is determined according to Eq. 2, Δ TF,b,f,c (i) may be determined based on the number of symbols occupied by PUCCH3, the format of PUCCH3, and the number of bits of UCI1 and / or the number of bits of UCI2. The format of PUCCH3 and the number of symbols occupied by PUCCH3 may be configured by the base station.
[0115] For example, in Eq.
number
[0116] In another example, in formula 2:
number
number
number
[0117] Optionally, if A+B≦2, A+B=3, or A+B=4, the terminal may determine the first power according to Equation 2. For example, the terminal may determine the first power according to Equation 2 as follows: TF,b,f,c (i) determining the number of symbols occupied by PUCCH3, the format of PUCCH3, and the number of UCI1 bits and / or the number of UCI2 bits; TF,b,f,c A first power is determined based on (i).
[0118] Optionally, when A=2 and B=2, the terminal may determine the first power according to Equation 2. For example, the terminal may determine the first power according to Equation 2: TF,b,f,c (i) determining the number of symbols occupied by PUCCH3, the format of PUCCH3, and the number of UCI1 bits and / or the number of UCI2 bits; TF,b,f,c A first power is determined based on (i).
[0119] In the following, Δ TF,b,f,c Another implementation of Scheme 1 will be described by using an example in which (i) is determined according to Equation 3 and the first power is determined according to Equation 1.
[0120] Specifically, in Equation 3, n HARQ-ACK (i) may indicate the sum of the number of ACK / NACK bits in UCI1 and the number of ACK / NACK bits in UCI2 (or the greater value between the number of ACK / NACK bits in UCI1 and the number of ACK / NACK bits in UCI2), SR (i) indicates the sum of the number of SR bits in UCI1 and the number of SR bits in UCI2 (or the larger value between the number of SR bits in UCI1 and the number of SR bits in UCI2), and O CSI (i) indicates the sum of the number of CSI bits in UCI1 and the number of CSI bits in UCI2 (or the larger value between the number of CSI bits in UCI1 and the number of CSI bits in UCI2), and N RE (i) indicates the number of REs occupied by PUCCH3. Optionally, the number of occupied REs is obtained by subtracting the number of REs occupied by DMRS from the total number of REs occupied by PUCCH3.
[0121] Optionally, if 5≦A+B≦11, the first power may be determined according to Equation 3. For example, Δ TF,b,f,c (i) is determined according to Equation 3, and the first power is Δ TF,b,f,c (i).
[0122] Optionally, if 4≦A+B≦11, the first power may be determined according to Equation 3. For example, Δ TF,b,f,c (i) is determined according to Equation 3, and the first power is Δ TF,b,f,c (i).
[0123] Optionally, when 3≦A≦11 and 3≦B≦11, the first power may be determined according to Equation 3. For example, Δ TF,b,f,c (i) is determined according to Equation 3, and the first power is Δ TF,b,f,c (i).
[0124] Optionally, if 3≦A≦11 or 3≦B≦11, the first power may be determined according to Equation 3. For example, Δ TF,b,f,c (i) is determined according to Equation 3, and the first power is Δ TF,b,f,c (i).
[0125] In method 2, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, P CMAX,f,c (i), P O_PUCCH,b,f,c (q u ),
number
[0126] Optionally, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, Δ TF,b,f,c (i) is determined based on the first number of bits and / or the second number of bits.
[0127] For example, the first bit number is the sum of the bit number of UCI1 and the check bit number of UCI1, and the second bit number is the sum of the bit number of UCI2 and the check bit number of UCI2. The check bit number of UCI may be defined in the protocol or may be configured by the base station of the terminal by using signaling. When the bit number of UCI is less than or equal to 11, the check bit number of UCI may be 0. The UCI in this specification may be UCI1 or UCI2.
[0128] Specifically, Δ in Equation 1 TF,b,f,c(i) may be determined according to Equation 4, where the parameters for Equation 4 include the first number of bits and / or the second number of bits, or include parameters determined based on the first number of bits and / or the second number of bits. For example, in Equation 4, n HARQ-ACK (i) O SR (i) O CSI (i) and O CRC The sum of (i) is equal to the sum of the first number of bits and the second number of bits.
[0129] Optionally, if A+B≧11 or A+B>11, the first power is determined based on the first number of bits and / or the second number of bits. Alternatively, if A+B≧12, the first power is determined based on the first number of bits and / or the second number of bits. Alternatively, if A≧11 and / or B≧11, the first power is determined based on the first number of bits and / or the second number of bits. Alternatively, if A≧12 and / or B≧12, the first power is determined based on the first number of bits and / or the second number of bits.
[0130] In Scheme 3, P1 may be regarded as the power of PUCCH1. P1 may be determined based on the power control parameters corresponding to PUCCH1 according to one or more of Equation 1 and Equation 2 to Equation 4. P2 may be regarded as the power of PUCCH2. P2 may be determined based on the power control parameters corresponding to PUCCH2 according to one or more of Equation 1 and Equation 2 to Equation 4. The power control parameters in this specification may include open-loop power control parameters and / or closed-loop power limit parameters.
[0131] In a possible implementation of Scheme 3, the first power P may be the larger one between P1 and P2 to improve the transmission reliability of UCI1 and UCI2.
[0132] Because P1 and P2 are determined based on the power control parameters corresponding to PUCCH1 and the power control parameters corresponding to PUCCH2 respectively, that is, P1 and P2 meet the transmission requirements of UCI1 and UCI2 respectively, when the independently coded UCI1 and UCI2 are transmitted through PUCCH3, the transmission power P of PUCCH3 is determined based on P1 and P2, which can better meet the transmission requirements of the two UCIs.
[0133] For example, P may be determined according to Equation 6. P=a*P1+b*P2 (formula 6)
[0134] a and b are constants; a and b are determined based on the number of bits of UCI1 and the number of bits of UCI2, or a and b are determined based on the bit rate of UCI1 and the bit rate of UCI2. For example, a:b=A:B, or a:b=R2:R1. In other words, the ratio of a to b is equal to the ratio of A to B, or the ratio of a to b is equal to the ratio of R2 to R1. R1 is the bit rate of UCI1, and R2 is the bit rate of UCI2.
[0135] Specifically, the bit rate of UCI2 may be a bit rate determined when UCI2 is transmitted on PUCCH2 (i.e., the bit rate of UCI2 on PUCCH2) or a bit rate determined when UCI2 is transmitted on PUCCH3 (i.e., the bit rate of UCI2 on PUCCH3). The bit rate of UCI1 may be a bit rate determined when UCI1 is transmitted on PUCCH1 (i.e., the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH1) or a bit rate determined when UCI1 is transmitted on PUCCH3 (i.e., the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH3).
[0136] In another possible implementation of Scheme 3, the first power P may be determined based on a priority corresponding to UCI1, a priority corresponding to UCI2, and one of P1 and P2.
[0137] For example, when the priority of UCI1 is higher than the priority of UCI2, or when the bit rate of UCI1 is lower than the bit rate of UCI2, the first power is determined based on P1, for example, the first power is P1 or a value obtained by scaling P1.
[0138] For example, the first power may be determined according to Equation 7. P=a*P1 (formula 7)
[0139] a is a real number greater than 0. a is defined in a protocol, or is determined by the base station and then notified to the terminal by using signaling.
[0140] When P is determined based on P1, the first power may be further determined based on the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH3 and / or the resource for transmitting UCI1 on PUCCH3. Specifically, when P1 is determined according to Equation 3, n HARQ-ACK (i)+O SR (i)+O CSI (i)) / N RE (i) is a parameter related to the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH3, or when P1 is determined according to Equation 4, BPRE(i) is a parameter related to the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH3. Alternatively, when P1 is determined according to Equation 3 or Equation 4, N RE (i) indicates the number of REs on PUCCH3 for transmitting UCI1. For example, PUCCH3 occupies a total of 100 REs, where 50 REs are for transmitting UCI1, 30 REs are for transmitting UCI2, and DMRS occupies 20 REs. In this case, the number of REs transmitting UCI1 is 50. In addition, in this example, the number of REs for transmitting UCI2 is 30.
[0141] In this implementation, the first power needs to be re-determined based on PUCCH3. The bit rates and occupied time-frequency resources used by UCI1 on PUCCH1 and PUCCH3 may be different. However, in S102, UCI1 is transmitted through PUCCH3 and not through PUCCH1. Therefore, the first power is calculated based on the bit rate or time-frequency resource corresponding to UCI1 on PUCCH3, so as to better match the channel characteristics corresponding to the case when UCI1 is actually transmitted, thereby further improving the reliability of PUCCH.
[0142] In method 4, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, P CMAX,f,c (i), P O_PUCCH,b,f,c (q u ),
number
[0143] Optionally, the bit rate of UCI1 may be the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH1 or the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH3. The bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH1 and the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH3 may be the same or different. The bit rate of UCI2 may be the bit rate of UCI2 on PUCCH1 or the bit rate of UCI2 on PUCCH3.
[0144] When the bit rate of UCI1 is the bit rate of UCI1 on PUCCH3, the first power may better match the characteristics of transmitting UCI1 to improve the reliability of UCI1. Similarly, when the bit rate of UCI2 is the bit rate of UCI2 on PUCCH3, the first power may better match the characteristics of transmitting UCI2 to improve the reliability of UCI2.
[0145] It can be understood that in a possible implementation of the fourth method, when the bit rate of UCI1 is lower than that of UCI2, or when the priority of UCI1 is higher than that of UCI2, the first power can be determined based on the bit rate of UCI2, or the first power can be determined based on the number of bits of UCI2 and the size of the time-frequency resource for transmitting UCI2, in order to improve the transmission reliability of UCI1, because the bit rate of UCI2 can be determined based on the number of bits of UCI2 and the size of the time-frequency resource for transmitting UCI2. The size of the time-frequency resource for transmitting UCI2 can be the size of the time-frequency resource occupied by PUCCH2 or the size of the time-frequency resource for transmitting UCI2 on PUCCH3. Because the bit rate of UCI2 is lower than that of UCI1, the first power determined based on the bit rate of UCI2 is usually higher than the first power determined based on the bit rate of UCI1, thereby improving the transmission reliability of UCI1. For example, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, Δ TF,b,f,c When (i) is determined according to Equation 3, n in Equation 3 HARQ-ACK (i)+O SR (i)+O CSI (i)) / N RE (i) may be a parameter related to the bit rate of UCI2 on PUCCH3; or, in Equation 3, n HARQ-ACK (i)+O SR (i)+O CSI (i) indicates the number of bits of UCI2, N RE (i) denotes the number of REs for transmitting UCI2 and on PUCCH3.
[0146] Δ in Equation 1 TF,b,f,c If (i) is determined according to Equation 4, then BPRE(i) in Equation 4 is a parameter related to the bit rate of UCI2 on PUCCH3; or, BPRE(i) in Equation 4 is n HARQ-ACK (i)+O SR (i)+O CSI (i) and N RE (i), where n HARQ-ACK (i)+O SR (i)+O CSI (i) indicates the number of bits of UCI2, N RE (i) indicates the number of REs for carrying UCI2 and on PUCCH3. The explanation for the number of REs carrying UCI2 is similar to that for the number of REs carrying UCI1. The details will not be explained again.
[0147] Similarly, when the bit rate of UCI1 is not higher (or lower) than the bit rate of UCI2, or when the priority of UCI1 is higher (or not lower) than the priority of UCI2, it can be understood that the first power can be determined based on the bit rate of UCI1, or the first power is determined based on the number of bits of UCI1 and the size of the time-frequency resource for transmitting UCI1. The size of the time-frequency resource for transmitting UCI1 can be the size of the time-frequency resource occupied by PUCCH1 or the size of the time-frequency resource for transmitting UCI1 on PUCCH3. Because the bit rate of UCI1 is lower than the bit rate of UCI2, the first power determined based on the bit rate of UCI1 is usually lower than the first power determined based on the bit rate of UCI2, thereby reducing the transmission power of the terminal.
[0148] In the method 5, when the priority of UCI1 is higher than the priority of UCI1, when the first power is determined according to the formula 1, P CMAX,f,c (i), P O_PUCCH,b,f,c (q u ),
number
[0149] For example, the priority of PUCCH1 is a high priority, and the priority of PUCCH2 is a low priority. b,f,c (i,l) is C, and g obtained based on PUCCH2 b,f,c (i, l) is D. In this case, in S102, g b,f,c (i,l) is C, and g b,f,c (i,l) does not need to be recalculated. Recalculation refers to recalculating the closed-loop power limiting parameters on PUCCH3. In other words, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, g b,f,c (i,l) is δ PUCCH,b,f,c (i, l) does not need to be redetermined. When the terminal determines PUCCH1 and PUCCH2 in S101, b,f,c Since (i, l) has been determined, the terminal determines PUCCH3 by g b,f,cThere is no need to redetermine (i,l), which may reduce the processing power of the terminal, reduce processing complexity, and reduce processing overhead.
[0150] In method 6, determining the first power based on the closed loop power limit parameters of UCI1 and the closed loop power limit parameters of UCI2 includes the following: the first power is determined based on the greater of the closed loop power limit parameters of UCI1 and the closed loop power limit parameters of UCI2, or the first power is determined based on the greater of a value determined based on the closed loop power limit parameters of UCI1 and a value determined based on the closed loop power limit parameters of UCI2.
[0151] For example, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, P CMAX,f,c (i), P O_PUCCH,b,f,c (q u ),
number
[0152] For example, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, g b,f,c (i,l) is the g determined based on the closed-loop power limit parameters of PUCCH1 b,f,c (i,l) and g determined based on the closed loop power limit parameters of PUCCH2 b,f,c (i, l) which is the larger of the two, thereby ensuring the reliability of UCI1 and UCI2 as much as possible.
[0153] In another example, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, g b,f,c (i,l) is the g determined based on the closed-loop power limit parameters of PUCCH1 b,f,c (i,l) and g determined based on the closed loop power limit parameters of PUCCH2 b,f,c It may be a value obtained by performing an operation such as averaging or weighted averaging on (i,l).
[0154] Optionally, in addition to the above description of the power control parameters in Schemes 1 to 6, when the first power is determined according to Equation 1, the parameters for Equation 1 may be power control parameters of PUCCH3.
[0155] For example, P in Eq. O_PUCCH,b,f,c (q u ) and PL b,f,c (q d ) are determined based on the SRI associated with PUCCH3.
[0156] Optionally, in S102, the terminal transmits the first UCI and the second UCI in an independent coding manner, and the base station correspondingly receives the first UCI and the second UCI in an independent coding manner. In other words, when the first UCI and the second UCI are transmitted via PUCCH3 in an independent coding manner, the method shown in FIG. 3 is performed.
