[0004] By the way, when the heated resin cools, it slightly shrinks. In conventional products, if the base is deformed due to shrinkage, the yoke may be placed in a tilted state. Also, in a conventional cover, the yoke placed on the tilted base cannot be corrected to an appropriate position. On the other hand, if the yoke is not in an appropriate position, there is a risk that the disconnection function may not be fully exerted.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] The inventor of the present case has tried to solve this problem by earnestly studying this point. The problem to be solved by the present invention is to be able to relatively easily attach the cover to the base at an appropriate position, and by attaching the cover to the base at an appropriate position, to support the yoke at a position where the disconnection function can be fully exerted.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0012] The following shows a mode for carrying out the invention. As can be understood from FIGS. 1 to 4, the wiring breaker 1 of the present embodiment includes a housing 10 including a base 20 and a cover 30, and an instantaneous tripping device 70 having a yoke 71. The wiring breaker 1 supports the base 20 so as to sandwich the lower part of the yoke 71 of the instantaneous tripping device 70 from the front-rear direction, and the cover 30 supports the upper part of the yoke 71 of the instantaneous tripping device 70 so as to sandwich it from the front-rear direction. The cover 30 is configured to include a contact portion 31 that contacts the inner surface of the base 20 on the front side or the rear side. For this reason, the cover 30 can be attached to an appropriate position in the front-rear direction with respect to the base 20 relatively easily. Further, by attaching the cover 30 to an appropriate position with respect to the base 20, it becomes possible to support the yoke 71 at a position where the tripping function can be sufficiently exhibited.

[0013] The housing 10 that forms the outer shell of the wiring breaker 1 of the embodiment includes a base 20 that is to be attached to the installation surface and a cover 30 that covers the upper part of the base 20. The wiring breaker 1 is provided with terminal portions 51 capable of connecting wirings on the front side and the rear side, and can switch between a state where the wirings connected thereto are electrically connected and a state where the connection is released. In order to enable this switching to be performed manually, the wiring breaker 1 is provided with a handle 61, and by tilting the rotatable handle 61 forward or backward, it is possible to switch whether to cut off the power or not.

[0014] Inside the housing 10 of the wiring breaker 1, various devices that operate to make the wiring breaker 1 function are housed, and one of them is an instantaneous tripping device 70 (see FIG. 5). This instantaneous tripping device 70 functions to cut off the power when a large current such as a short-circuit current occurs, and functions to prevent disasters such as fires from occurring when an abnormal situation occurs.

[0015] The instantaneous tripping device 70 of the embodiment is formed by attaching a dashpot 72 having a pole piece 73 to a yoke 71, a trigger lever 74, etc., and winding a coil 75 around its outer periphery. When a large current such as a short-circuit current flows through the coil 75 in this instantaneous tripping device 70, the pole piece 73 is drawn into the dashpot 72 against an instantaneous spring (not shown), and the trigger lever 74 is moved to perform an instantaneous tripping operation.

[0016] The yoke 71 of this instantaneous tripping device 70 is attached to the housing 10. In the embodiment, the lower part of the yoke 71 is supported so as to be sandwiched from the front-rear direction by a yoke support portion 29 provided on the base 20, and the upper part of the yoke 71 is supported so as to be sandwiched from the front-rear direction by a yoke support portion 39 provided on the cover 30.

[0017] With the above-described configuration, the yoke 71 can be firmly supported. However, in this state alone, due to the shrinkage of the resin, the yoke 71 may be attached while being tilted in the front-rear direction from the intended state. However, the state of the yoke 71 after the base 20 and the cover 30 are screwed and fixed cannot be grasped. Therefore, in order to facilitate making the relative position in the front-rear direction between the cover 30 and the base 20 appropriate, the wiring breaker 1 of the embodiment is configured to include a contact portion 31 that contacts the inner surface of the base 20 in the front-rear direction on the front surface side of the cover 30 (see FIGS. 6 and 7). If the cover 30 is fixed to the base 20 with the contact portion 31 in contact with the inner surface of the base 20 in the front-rear direction, it is possible to suppress the yoke 71 from being attached while being tilted in the front-rear direction more than expected.

[0018] Of course, a configuration in which a contact portion 31 that contacts the inner surface of the base 20 in the front-rear direction is provided on the rear surface side of the cover 30 may also be used. Even in this case, if the cover 30 is fixed to the base 20 with the contact portion 31 in contact with the inner surface of the base 20 in the front-rear direction, it is possible to suppress the yoke 71 from being attached while being tilted in the front-rear direction more than expected.

[0019] It is preferable that the contact portion 31 is located on one side of the shaft 62 of the handle 61 and the yoke 71 is located on the other side of the shaft 62 of the handle 61. By doing so, the contact portion 31 can be formed at a position away from the instantaneous disengagement device 70, and a contact space can be secured without interfering with the instantaneous disengagement device 70.

[0020] Incidentally, in the embodiment, the base 20 includes a bottom surface 21, side walls 22 extending vertically from the left and right ends of the bottom surface 21, and a partition wall 23 that divides between terminals. The contact portion 31 that abuts against the inner surface of the base 20 abuts against at least one of the side wall 22 or the partition wall 23 of the base 20 from the rear (see FIGS. 8 and 9). This is because the contact portion 31 is provided on the front side of the cover 30. When the contact portion 31 is provided on the rear side of the cover 30, the contact portion 31 may abut against at least one of the side wall 22 or the partition wall 23 of the base 20 from the front.

[0021] Thus, if the base 20 is provided with a bottom surface 21, side walls 22 extending vertically from the left and right ends of the bottom surface 21, and a partition wall 23 that divides between terminals, and the contact portion 31 abuts against at least one of the side wall 22 or the partition wall 23 of the base 20 from the front or the rear, it is possible to easily secure a location on the base 20 side where the contact portion 31 abuts.

[0022] In the example shown in FIG. 9, the portion that abuts against the contact portion 31 is, for the partition wall 23, the surface facing in the rear direction, and for the side wall 22, the surface facing in the rear direction of the projecting portion 24 formed to project inwardly to the portion located on the side of the terminal portion 51.

[0023] Further, in the embodiment, the cover 30 is provided with a partition portion 32 that partitions the terminal portion 51 and the interior of the housing 10, and the contact portion 31 is provided on the terminal portion 51 side of the partition portion 32 (see FIGS. 6 to 9). This is because if the contact portion 31 is formed on the partition portion 32, it can easily abut against at least one of the side wall 22 or the partition wall 23 of the base 20. Further, if the contact portion 31 is formed on the terminal portion 51 side of the partition portion 32, it is possible to avoid the contact portion 31 becoming an obstacle to equipment arrangement or the like in the internal space of the housing 10. In the examples shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the contact portion 31 is formed on the terminal portion 51 side on the power supply side of the partition portion 32.

[0024] More specifically, in the embodiment, the protruding contact portion 31 is formed so as to extend forward from both ends of the partition portion 32. Further, the contact portion 31 is configured such that the vertical direction is the longitudinal direction. Therefore, when the contact portion 31 is brought into contact with the base 20, the load applied to the base 20 and the partition portion 32 can be dispersed.

[0025] The partition portion 32 of the embodiment is provided with a plurality of notch-shaped portions for providing a plurality of ventilation portions 33. By doing so, it is possible to prepare for abnormal situations such as when an arc occurs.

[0026] By the way, a dashpot 72, a trigger lever 74, etc. are connected to the yoke 71 of the embodiment. When fixing the dashpot 72 to the yoke 71, the dashpot 72 is fixed to a dashpot fixing piece 76 provided on the yoke 71. More specifically, the fixing is performed with the dashpot 72 inserted through an insertion hole 77 provided in the dashpot fixing piece 76. When fixing the dashpot 72 and the dashpot fixing piece 76 with the dashpot 72 inserted through the insertion hole 77, soldering may be performed. In order to ensure sufficient strength while suppressing the amount of solder used, the insertion hole 77 is preferably configured to include a portion that expands in diameter as it goes in the penetration direction.

[0027] In the example shown in FIG. 10, in order to expand the diameter downward from the middle of the insertion hole 77, a notch portion 78 is provided.

[0028] As described above, the present invention has been described by taking the embodiment as an example. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and can be in various aspects.
