This invention discloses a clamp-type spring operating mechanism and a high-
voltage circuit breaker. The mechanism includes a frame, a closing spring module, a
transmission system, a opening spring module, a closing latching
system, an opening latching
system, and an auxiliary switch
assembly. The frame is composed of two symmetrical side plates fastened together with connecting blocks. The closing spring is located between the two side plates and is driven by a tray, screw, connector, chain, and coaxial
sprocket. The
transmission system's large gear
assembly is then hinged to the connector. The motor,
clutch, multi-stage gear shaft, and output
crank arm are integrated within the space enclosed by the side plates. The output
crank arm connects to the opening spring module. The closing and opening latching systems are mounted inside the side plates. The auxiliary switch is driven by the output
crank arm via a connecting rod. This invention uses a clamp-type frame instead of a cast frame, simplifying
processing and reducing cost. It uses a chain,
sprocket, and gear shaft transmission instead of a
ratchet and pawl structure, resulting in smooth transmission,
low noise, and an anti-dry-closing
interlocking function. The structure is compact, highly reliable, and suitable for high-
voltage circuit breakers.
